I was between the regular purple mattress and the Hybrid purple mattress. They tried to sell me on the Hybrid because I mentioned I am a side sleeper. I couldn't afford the price jump so I went with the regular purple mattress. It works just fine for side sleeping and it stays cool all night.

My partner has dysautonomia and when their symptoms flare up, their body temp goes wild at night. The old crappy mattress we had before seemed to absorb their body heat and multiply it by 10 so that it radiated onto my side too and we'd both just be sweaty and miserable! We'd open windows and bought a fan and not much was helping. The mattress was also very collapsed and we had that 'stuck in the mud' feeling that left us achey and struggling to get out of bed in the mornings. Purple has surpassed our hopes and really really helped reduce aches and pains with proper support, and the heat issue has gotten amazingly better! We can actually cuddle at night again now without overheating after 2 minutes! I've always had friends give me old mattresses or found cheap ones used, so I was very conflicted about spending a significant amount on a bed for the first time, but I am so happy we invested in our well being in this way. Good rest and sleep is a make or break element of quality of life and I can't for the life of me understand how we lasted so long on our old mattress.

For anyone that wakes up with pain from sleeping, this is the mattress for you. I would frequently wake up throughout the night and would wake feeling sluggish and exhausted. This mattress provides you with the comfort that your body deserves. I no longer wake up shoulder and back pain. I feel rested and rejuvenated. My only complaint is that I didn't buy this mattress sooner. I'm actually sad when I'm away from home because I know I won't be sleeping as soundly and as comfortably as I could be if I were on my purple mattress.

I was careful to do my research when getting a new bed as I have back problems, so I read reviews and suggestions and really went back and forth between the Casper and the Purple. I decided on the purple as research suggests it offers more support. I made sure to buy the frame with it. While I usually choose extra soft bouncy beds I found the Purple to be very firm. I was disappointed but with the 100-day warranty I figured I needed to try it. I was amazed, within the first week I'd wake up and my back would crack and feel so good as if aligning itself. I have noticed I sit up straighter, stand straighter and can even be on my feet more than before. I have back, knees, and hip problems that often made it difficult to sleep - these have all but disappeared. I love it, and I hate sleeping anywhere else - I highly suggest buying the Purple to everyone with one suggestion, BUY THE BED FRAME! This will give you better support, is easy to put together and light weight. Plus you get so much more under the bed storage and if you don't want the Purple you will still have an amazing frame. All the messages from Purple customer service are friendly, down to earth and tell you what you need to know simply and with humor. It's a stress free experience and I'm so happy with my Purple!

Honestly, it took a couple of weeks to adjust to the Purple Mattress, as I had slept on my old mattress over 15 years. My back was a bit stiff in the morning when I woke up. Now, however, I can't wait to snuggle in for a great night's sleep! Make sure to give yourself time to adjust - it's well worth the time.

The Purple Mattress has been the best bed I've slept on. I've tried many other well-known bed but wasn't completely satisfy with them. I am a light sleeper and normally toss and turn several times throughout the night. I also find it difficult to fall asleep and would end up laying in bed past my bed time. With previous beds, I would wake up tired and struggle waking myself up. However, with the Purple Mattress, despite being a light sleeper, I am well rested and don't wake up with the feeling of not getting enough sleep through the night. The warranty that comes with the bed is also a plus. My only critic is the price range. The Purple Mattress is on the expensive end for my budget but well worth it for someone like me who gets little sleep through the night.

I definitely don't consider myself a professional mattress reviewer but i give the purple original mattress a resounding 5 stars!!! It's so comfortable!!! I weigh around 155 pounds and sleep mostly on my stomach and side and i have to say this bed provides complete comfort and support in every position. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and I would probably never buy another mattress thats not a purple again!!!

We love our purple mattress. We did a lot of research before we bought it, but we're so glad we did. I've had so much pain and it's been going away. It really is hard to get out of bed. When I read the previous reviews I thought, "wow, these people are exaggerating or getting paid for the reviews" but now that's we've had the mattress for a month, I'm a believer too!

I am very happy so far. I do wake up with a sore neck and headache so I believe it is a pillow issue. Still testing it out before making a decision. My boyfriend says his shoulders are sore but he still wants to give the bed some time before making a decision as well.

We first bought a cal king purple mattress about a year and a half ago. Started having some issues on one side of the bed. It felt like I was sleeping in a valley. Spoke to some of the most helpful and accommodating customer service representatives on the planet. They quickly sent out a new mattress after a simple test and some pictures to verify our claim.
