I am a big guy, have been for most of my life. I have never been able to sleep on my side. My shoulder would hurt after a few minutes, not to mention my arm underneath. With this bed I can sleep on my side all night without any pain. The first night I woke up in the exact same place I fell asleep in. People literally ask me if I get commission on these beds based on how often I recommend them. You cannot go wrong with this bed. Perfect!

My parents love the Purple Mattress. Even without asking them, it is obvious that they sleep deeply and for longer periods compared to their previous (spring) mattress. My father, who has had spine surgery and regular body aches, has said that he sleeps better and no longer suffers from back pain. Definitely recommend.

I'm in my 40's and I have had a hip replacement. My husband purchased this bed hoping it would be more comfortable for me than our pillowtop mattress. I'm happy we kept our old one. This is the hardest bed I've ever slept in! I've been sleeping on the couch since we got it. Which btw the shipping took 3 weeks! When it should've been 3-5 days! I will be asking for a refund today. Please come collect your mattress.

My wife and I purchased a king-sized Original Purple mattress less than two years ago. We fell for the hype and for the first year or so, it was fine. Two months ago, I started to experience back aches and stiffness. I didn't think to check the mattress as it was relatively new and I don't get back aches often. My wife decided to check and noticed that certain parts of the bed, the areas where no one slept, were much more firm the the two sides where we sleep. I read online about the various ways to measure body indentations and mattress sagging. Once we measured, I was shocked to find out how quickly the mattress has deteriorated (pics attached). Bottom line, this is a new company and an untested product. Stay away until or if they ever prove themselves over a 10 year period. For reference, I weigh approx. 165 pounds and my wife weighs in the low 100's.

I suffer from severe back pain due to an injury from a car accident. I used to dread going to bed because no matter what mattress I slept on I tossed and turned all night with back pain. My last mattress was so bad that I was waking up every two hours in pain. I was exhausted all the time and finally ended up sleeping on an air mattress which while not much better than my mattress it did give me a little bit more rest, but I was still in a lot of pain. I started researching mattresses and decided to give the purple a try. My first night on the purple was great, I felt like my body was being supported while I slept for the first time. My back pain eased and I slept through the night for the first time in years. Now I look forward to going to bed and my back always feels better when I wake up. It has been 90 days and I can't imagine sleeping on any other mattress. You can't go wrong with this mattress, it is unlike anything else you have ever tried. You won't be disappointed.

you spend 1/3 of your life in bed - just buy this thing! it used to take me at least an hour to fall asleep, and i thought it was just my overactive brain, but now i conk out in about 10 minutes...i've never been so comfortable or slept so well...they give you 100 nights to try it out, and just like with the pillow i bought years back, i knew the first night this is not getting returned:)

I will say I am very impressed with the Purple mattress. My old pillow top mattress was giving me joint pain and I couldn't get comfortable but since I have had this Purple mattress, I don't wake up with pain. I will say it does take getting used to but I believe any mattress you purchase does take time to adjust. I am extremely pleased so far with my purchase. I have noticed I am sleeping better and waking up with no pain is great! I do recommend this mattress.

First off, the mattress feels great. All pressure points are gone, neck pain is reduced, and my wife sleeps through the night even though I still roll around. You NEED to have someone carry it with you. It is very dense and heavy, but not impossible to move. It opens very easily if you follow the instructions, just make sure you have it in the location you want - it's pretty hard to move later. It really is ready to go within minutes of unwrapping. Even with it on the floor, we could tell the difference. The Purple gel cushions you and eliminates pressure points. I have even stopped using a pillow because there is so much support. The foam could even be a little thinner, but there is a lot more room to absorb and shock. I don't necessarily sleep better yet, but I sleep deeper. My wife would wake up when I would roll over but now she sleeps through. Some have complained that "the gel doesn't go all the way to the edge," but a square mattress would be weird, so it really is fine. Maybe the foam could be a tiny bit softer, but it is good how it is. I can't imagine that the 10 year warranty will be an issue, but customer service was quick and courteous, so I would not expect that to be any difference. Great mattress, but you can't move it by yourself. Feels like quality!

My chair cushion was really comfortable at first. However, it's gotten squished down and rather flattened and I've only had it for a few weeks. I have an office job and sit in front of a computer all day, so it's essential that I have a cushion that's both comfortable, responsive, and conforming to my body weight and various sitting positions throughout the day. I'm a bit disappointed quite honestly, and was hoping for a cushion that kept its shape better for extended periods of sitting.

Customer service is generally pretty bad these days however I was very pleasantly surprised how helpful, polite and empowered the person I chatted with was. I was impressed. I received the bed as promised. Great packaging however i wish it was a bit more environment friendly. I'm a side sleeper and with my former mattress, I'd often wake with shoulder pain. Not anymore! Great mattress. I'm a happy Purple customer!
