Honestly, even after a day of sleeping on the mattress I didn't wake up with any lower back pain. I Laid on it for a couple hours or so before going to bed the first night and I could feel it supporting my lower back. I don't roll as much anymore in my sleep.

Hubby had a birthday, so I bought him the seat cushion (not even the expensive one). He'd been griping about his posterior pain whenever we'd arrive home from our long commutes from work. Well, this is one gift I will definitely give again! Hubby is happy, and I even use the cushion at home sometimes while working at my computer. We love it!

We've had the Purple mattress for about 3 weeks and are sleeping well. My wife is petite, sleeps on her side and is happy. I'm about 150 lbs, sleep on my back and am also sleeping well. The support is very good. I also find the edge support to be better than expected and not an issue. My only remaining question is whether I'd like a little more of a memory foam "hugging" feeling from the top layer. I find that memory foam toppers give a feeling of comfort while falling asleep and the Purple does not have that feeling. My wife is very happy with the fact this bed does not sleep hot as that is her main objection to memory foams. So for now, our feeling is that the Purple mattress is very good, but I'm still trying to figure out whether I want a top layer that hugs me to create that feeling of softness while falling asleep.

My husband and I purchased The King Purple Bed in April 2016 and we have each been late to work several times since our purchase. That may sound like a bad thing, but really it is a testament to how TRULY comfortable this mattress is. I had my doubts about buying a mattress that I had not sat on or laid on, but I took the gamble and it paid off. We couldn't be happier with our mattress and are constantly "showing it off" to friends and family. A BIG THANKS to Tony and Terry for developing such a wonderful product!!!

This bed is amazing! First we have the base which is incredible. So many positions to find the perfect comfort. Ten the mattress! First time in a long time that I woke up without severe pain in my hip. My dogs and I didn't want to get up this morning. I was worried about the whole get it in the house, get the old one out of the house, get it upstairs, and put it together but I didn't need to. The delivery man brought it in, I hired a junk removal company to get the old one out, and the took it upstairs. The assembly was ridiculously simple-screw in the legs and flip it over. The mattress unrolls and then ur all set! Highly recommend!

We had a Casper mattress and thought it was good but for whatever reason I was doing a lot of tossing and turning and waking up several times a night. We went to our daughters house to babysit the grandbabies and slept on their Purple mattress. It was heavenly. So we ordered one, and we have been sleeping longer and better ever since. We love it.

I have been wanting to try the Purple mattress for a few years and my wife and I recently made the switch/upgrade. We could not be more pleased with the support and comfort level of the mattress. p.s. Do yourself a favor and get the pillows and sheets. You will be AMAZED and your body with thank you!

A good mattress is one that you don't ever have to think about, and don't they always say that good design is 99% invisible? The truth that most mattress companies don't like to talk about is that just about any mattress will do. Good sleep is determined by many factors, but funnily enough what you're sleeping on isn't a very big one. Back problems? also not strongly correlated with mattress quality, but rather more closely with what you do while you're awake in terms of lifestyle, such as lifting heavy things improperly all day, bending over often, or being overweight. Good sleep mostly comes down to having a consistent sleep schedule, not eating too close to bed time, cooling the body off, and reducing exposure to bright light sources. I like to read a book under dim lights before I go to bed and this helps fatigue my eyes without straining them, making it especially easy to fall asleep within 20 minutes of my head hitting the pillow. Some vigorous exercise a couple hours earlier also helps fatigue my whole body into begging for some of that good ol' shut eye. With these tools in hand, I could simply lay on a yoga mat and get good sleep. A full mattress is a luxury. It's something special to delight yourself in during those final moments before drifting away, and then begrudgingly lurch yourself out of in the morning. It's something of a double edged sword in that respect. It's almost too good to want to leave. It's relatively easy to motivate yourself off of a yoga mat or a sleeping bag in the morning, but a mattress? Better set up some back up alarms just in case. But as I mentioned, more or less any mattress can achieve this. Even if you feel stiff or strained in some way, the sheer softness and warmth is enough to persuade you not to rise. Springs, feathers, foam, lattices, it's all variations on the simplest of themes, something soft to lie in. As long as it's not too bent out of shape or poking you in some odd way it'll probably do. The Purple Mattress has fulfilled this role in the same manner that just about any other mattress I've lied in has, which is to say, thoroughly sufficient. It hasn't improved my sleep (and I knew it wouldn't), but it also hasn't made it any worse (I can make that happen on my own, thank you very much). Though I may sound flippant and dismissive towards whatever design and engineering went into producing and distributing this mattress, (I'm pretty sure the whole mattress business is all about the marketing at this point anyway) I nonetheless offer my heartiest gratitude for the enduring adequacy I have hitherto experienced.

I am a disabled veteran, suffering from post traumatic stress disorder(PTSD). Like many diagnosed with this disorder, I suffered many sleepless nights due to nightmares, pains, general restlessness, etc.. Within the first night sleeping on the Purple mattress I noticed a huge difference. My girlfriend and I fell asleep almost instantly after laying down in bed. I was so relaxed, and didn't wake up even once during the night. Best sleep I've ever had.

I'm a long-time sufferer of lower back pain from 3 herniated discs in my lower lumbar. I'm male, 6'-2" with an average build of 205 lbs. Less than two years of sleeping on a very expensive and now crappy pillow top mattress (rhymes with Laatva) from deep, permanent body indentations (even thought I'm not exactly crushing it), I really got sick and tired of waking up every morning feeling like a bronco kicked me in the back down a drainage ditch, leaving me for dead. I saw a YouTube commercial for the Purple mattress a few weeks ago and decided to give it a go. Since I was just going to try it, I waited on buying a platform frame, so I tested out the mattress on the floor to see if it lived up to its hype. The next morning, I woke up with NO BACK PAIN and actually felt like I got a good night's rest for the first time in over a year! Second night / morning...same result! Third night / morning... sealed the deal. I'm very satisfied with my new Purple mattress! I'm all set up now with a platform frame and thankful every time I wake up pain free and as well rested as Rip Van Winkle. Time will tell if it holds its form over time, but as of right now... Well done TPM!
