I am rating this a 5 because first of all I think everyone I have talked to and been emailing at Purple have been OUTSTANDING! I had done a ton of online research on the million beds that are out there and I am so glad I went with the only one that is truly different. It sleeps firm yet comforting. There is less motion transfer with 2 people in it than my old tempurpedic. Also on me adjustable base you can feel the massage vibrations even better. I know it is very concerning to buy something like this without even touching it but with the 100 night guarantee you have to take the shot. You won't be disappointed. The pillow however is not for me but I have had no problem returning it at all because that is a 100 night trial as well.

I had been eagerly waiting for my new Purple mattresss for about a month it seems. When it finally came I was pleased to learn it was worth the wait. I will say it does take a couple nights to adjust to the feel, but after that I haven't had any major issues! Love my new purple mattress.

We were about 6 months to 1 year overdue for a New mattress and had been having neck and back pain and troubles sleeping. The first night sleeping on the Purple mattress was literally life changing. We both slept great and woke up with significantly reduced pain

I was browsing Facebook one day when I saw an ad for the Purple bed. It looked so good I decided to do some further investigation. I watched a few videos, read many reviews, and chose to purchase my own mattress! I bought the king sized mattress. It is wonderful! I've had troubles sleeping, it takes me forever to fall asleep, and when I finally do it's a fitful nights rest, with tossing and turning most of the night. It was my hope with the purchase of this mattress it would alleviate those struggles. It has! And it's made me not want to get out of bed in the morning . The mattress is firm in all the right places and yet yielding where it needs to be. Just so you know, the mattress truly is heavy! When I cut through the vacuum seal, the bed expanded and was hard to flip over.(I'd opened it upside down) it took me and my brother to flip it right side up. I'm very glad I got this bed, and have recommended it to all my friends. I'm sure they are sick of me telling them about how good I sleep now. I don't have back or neck pain anymore. I also just use regular sheets, I had read that it's recommended to purchase the Purple sheets but I haven't had a problem with my regular stretchy sheets.

I ordered this bed after reading tons of many positive reviews. It arrived by the date promised and was easy to open. I had opened a memory foam mattress topper for my previous mattress and there was an unpleasant smell that lasted for weeks. No such thing with the Purple mattress. I was surprised at first at how firm it is and was initially not pleased. I changed my mind after the second night when I woke up with no back pain. It took a few days of adjusting but I love the mattress now and continue to be pain-free in the mornings!

The Purple mattress felt heavenly at first, but that's when it was on my floor (I was waiting for a platform base to come in). The moment it was on the base it was much firmer and far less comfortable. I don't sleep on my purple mattress every night because I get chronic aches from it. I've owned my purple mattress for over two years, and I'll alternate between it, my couch, and my guest bed. I was so hopeful it would help ease the stress on my chronic back injury, but unfortunately it was more hype than help. It's comfortable enough, but was hoping for so much more.

I'm a Retired Marine so I'll tell you like it is, and this bed is good to go. After serving 20 years in the Marines I can sleep on any surface no matter if it hurt my body, but to tell you the truth, I'm not as lean and not as mean but I'm still a Marine that wants comfort. I decided to buy a purple mattress and glad I did. It did hurt the first two days because my body was used-to sleeping wrong. Plus they challenged me to sleep on it for 30 days so my body could get realigned right, and being a Marine, I said " Challenge excepted"! It's been two weeks now and I like it. Even my hard as nails wife likes it to. Hey how about you all make a recliner like a lazy boy out of this stuff?

My wife was a little skeptical of us getting the purple mattress. I did a lot of research on all different types of mattresses that are available online and in stores, and I convinced her to try this out at least for the 100 night trial. We are almost 30 nights into this mattress, and we have never slept better. I, personally, am a hot sleeper and very restless. My wife and I both have noticed that we actually sleep through the entire night and I love the breath-ability of the mattress.

The purple company is great, the return policy is great, they are nice and easy to talk to. The mattress itself did not prove to be comfortable for me. I am a slide sleeper and I got the original style, I tried it for 100 days and I didn't love it. I had back pain that I didn't have before and found myself more restless. Hopefully this helps someone else! Mattress shopping is hard and I had people rave about it but was let down. Still totally think it's a great company and maybe one of the more expensive mattresses is better.

I bought this months ago and thought it was great but after being on vacation for the past 10 days in a hotel I am blown away. I have shoulder and neck problems which haven't ached since I bought this mattress. But after sleeping on a hotel mattress my neck and shoulder ached my entire vacation along with a new mid back pain that started thanks to the hotel room mattress.(5 star hotel mattress) Now that I am back and have slept just one night on my Purple I am blown away at how well I slept and the pains I had for the past 10 days are completely gone. It truly is the best! As a night shift nurse who has sleeping issues nothing beats a good resetful actually feel refreshed when I wake up sleep! I am contemplating buying them for my guest bedrooms now too!
