We bought our bed about 4years. The bed started slumping, making craters where we slept. We started turning the bed 180 even slept cross ways. After finally deciding to research for anew bed, I felt like I needed to give purple a call y'all about the issue and see where that went. The lady I felt with was very concerned about what we had gone through and was very helpful in ultimately getting us our new bed. After a few photos they ask me to take, of the problem, I sent them in and in couple of weeks I had a return email that my new bed was in the way. I couldn't ask for better service. Thank you

My wife was skeptical when we first talked about trying Purple because we hadn't had a great experience with other premium mattresses. However, she was willing to try it due to the 100-day guarantee. We both really like it! It's the right amount of firmness and softness both! No more back aches!

After two plus years I am still pleased with my Purple mattress. None of the other new types of mattresses can touch this one. All seem to rely on memory foam. Memory foam traps heat in order to perform its shape shifting. What is not widely understood is that memory foam continues to trap heat and continues to compress until it is barely the thickness of cardboard. I used to have a memory foam lumbar support cushion in my car. On cold days it was hard as a rock. On hot days it was softer than oatmeal. The Purple offers me temperature comfortable sleep. The only catch is that your mattress pad and sheets need to be stretchy otherwise you lose the "soft where you need it" qualities. Looser fitting sheets and a stretchy mattress pad work best. My last sweat drenched sleep was the nights before my Purple arrived. Caution: have friends over to help carry this thing and get it positioned. Have it on the bed before you open it. It is pretty wobbly because of its build, so it is difficult to carry while unrolled. It is very heavy with a king weighing in at 140 pounds. The lady UPS driver made carrying the rolled mattress look easy. I thought I would have it easy only to try to lift it and receive input from my back muscles telling me the chiropractor was waiting. I waved as she drove away and ducked into the garage for the hand truck. OK, I admit, after I had it centered on the bed, I jumped on the mattress like a kid. I fell backwards onto it trying to get it to not cushion my fall. Even standing on the mattress I was unable to compress it enough to feel the solid foundation below it. By the way, an ordinary box springs cannot handle this mattress. However, if you cut a piece of 0.5" or 0.75" plywood to fit over the box springs, you should be just fine. Soft sided water bed box springs work perfectly. The only negative thing is the dogs love it as much as we do. They asked me to get them their own and I told them they did not need one. They thought otherwise. Now I get to share with them. I get a thin slice out of the king size mattress that is 6' long; the dogs take up the rest of the space. And they growl if I disturb their beauty rest!

It's honestly the best mattress I have ever owned. I've had expensive pillow tops, pricey memory foam, and firm futons. I've slept on the ground, slept in lean-to's, and slept in hammocks. My new purple mattress gives me a better night's sleep than I have ever had. I am recommending this to all my friends and family.

For me it was OK but not great. My wife couldn't handle it at all. I think it would be good if Purple developed several different tensions of support foam so it's not so hard for lightweights and curvy people, stiffer for heavy people that need that support.

I am in chronic pain and have difficulty sleeping, always tossing and turning due to discomfort or pain....that is until we bought our purple. My sides don't go numb from pressure, my spine doesn't feel like it's about to break when i lay on my back. I could go on and on but I suggest you try it out yourselves, and if you don't like it then they'll take it right back. No pressure, it's purple :) also on a side note...I loved the add with goldilocks.

So I've been wanting this mattress for a really long time. I can't tell you how many times I watched the ads, read the reviews, and just looked at the website. I finally was able to purchase the mattress and got literally everything else except the pillows but I plan to get some in the future. I have the platform base, the mattress protector, the sheets, and the royal seat cushion. I HAD VERY HIGH EXPECTATIONS when buying this mattress so when I first opened it up and got on it I was kinda dissappointed. I literally expected my world to be turned upside down and for my body to feel like nothing it's ever felt before. Not the case. It was harder than I thought so I was kinda sad! Then I researched more into how important the adjustment period is. I'm 5' 8" and 130 lbs. I don't really sink into the mattress like I thought I would. BUT! That's all my honest opinion. I LOVE THE MATTRESS. I'm only on day 3 of sleeping on it but it even felt better the second night. I've never had a problem with back pain or sleeping through the night but it's not like I suddenly have those problems after switching to purple. I love laying on it and would lay on it al day long! I love the platform base. Mine doesn't squeak for me just yet and I've had it a couple weeks longer than the mattress. THE SHEETS ARE LITERALLY THE BEST THING IVE EVER PURCHASED IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!! Seriously those changed my life like I expected the mattress to. I wish they sold pillow cases separately cause I want two more pillow cases since I have a king bed. Anyways I love my decision and won't go back on it. I'm a purple fan and would recommend to anyone BUT I would advise you to lower your expectations and to give it some adjustment time. I'm still giving mine adjustment time as I'm only in the beginning. Yoi can also feel the little purple squishy things when you lay on the mattress which is okay but I've never felt that before. I also have the mattress protector. It looks like it'll do its job perfectly if there's ever any spills. And I definitely like to eat in bed. I hope you all enjoy your purchase! Purple mattress isn't for everyone but if you choose it definitely give it more of a chance then when you first lay on it!

I'm not happy with this mattress and will request a replacement. I'm about 175 pounds, 5'10" with wide shoulders, and the mattress simply isn't soft enough for me to sleep on my side. I wake up with sore shoulders in the middle of the night, and on a few nights I woke up out of the pain I felt. That being said, the mattress seem to be of good quality and supports me well. The shopping experience was good, delivered in the expected time. However, the website had outdated information regarding showrooms. I tried to visit two showrooms in the Seattle area (Northgate and Uni Village), both listed on the website, but both were closed. Besides making me lose time going to those places and wandering around after something that was permanently closed, I could have saved me a lot of headache and bad nights if I could just try the mattress before purchasing.

As we've gotten older, sleeping on a 2 year old "regular" mattress became more and more uncomfortable. There's always a pressure point- on my side, it might be hips. On my stomach, it's ribs... The discomfort ultimately means sleeping less, changing positions more. The first thing we noticed about our Purple is the no matter how we lie, there's no pressure so it's always comfortable. And since we're more comfortable we're sleeping longer and better and ache less when we wake up.

In all honesty, the mattress itself deserves the full 5 stars. But I bought the mattress protector from purple to protect my amazing mattress AND it takes it down a notch. My mattress will forever be clean from my pets which seem to think my bed is also theirs, but my bed isn't as cool as it could be without the protection. Bit of a bummer. Back to the positives - I had back surgery just prior to getting this mattress and it has been a real dream with recovery!!
