Well, I did have some back pain after the first night - however- it was because I slept with the top portion of my bed angled upward and I am a side sleeper. Once I flattened out, no pain or problems. The Purple mattress works great and is much more comfortable than the memory foam mattress we were using. Thanks Purple!

I used to have back pain like no other and would have a heck of a time falling asleep. Was worried as I had to buy this mattress without checking it out, but honestly I have not looked back once. I sleep through the entire night and wake up feeling great!

It is comfortable and definitely better than my last bed. My husband has had back surgery and it has helped his pain levels. I can feel the grid pattern which I don't love but think after I get another cover over it that will diminish. I would prefer if it were thicker, it sits pretty low to the ground on a standard frame and box springs. Overall we are pretty happy with the purchase.

Our purple bed sucks! It's only two years old and is dipped on my husband's side so I always roll into him or have to sleep on the edge and my back kills me every morning. I can't get comfortable at night so it takes forever for me to fall asleep and stay asleep. It also traps our body heat and leaves us both sweating and sometimes waking up cause of it. Life events happened and unfortunately we didn't get to return it within the 100 nights guarantee. Never again will we get a purple mattress and we turn people away when they ask about it.

I haven't had a new mattress in 10+ years, so I decided to treat myself to a new bed. After extensive research I settled on Purple, because the price was so great and I've slept on other bed in a box mattresses and I liked the more firm than soft support this bed offers. I also got the metal bed frame deal with my purchase and since I was changing bed sizes it worked out great for me. I've had my purple mattress for over a month now all most all of my lower back pain is gone. I don't wake up achy in the morning and that's a first for me in my adult life. I sleep really cool on this mattress and fall asleep so fast now. I absolutely love this mattress. My only issue is with the bed frame, not the Purple. The frame has great qualities, plenty of storage room below and it's easy to assemble. I have two major problems with it though. The first one is the fact that if you don't tighten the screws enough is has a horrible squeaking problem, which I had to not only go through and retighten the screws but after that didn't work I had to use some WD-40. My second concern with it is how much the mattress moves on top the the frame. I feel like I readjust my mattress every time I get up to leave the bed. I might end up going to a furiture store to see if I can find something better or try to place something on the bottom of the mattress so there's no slipping. All in all though, for the price of the frame it's a great deal. Ever since I put it all together(which was super simple btw), every night has been the best sleep of my life.

The first week I was very sore and did not enjoy the feel of this mattress. I pushed through & im so glad I did. After the first week, I woke up feeling like my spine had a massage through the night. I felt well rested. I don't have lower back aches like I used to. I never realized I had aches until this mattress. I thought it was "normal". My only complaint is that it is not a true king size. My feet hang off a bit when I sleep on my stomach. If it were a couple inches longer - it would be the perfect mattress!!

I have some back issues due to an auto accident and sleeping was a way to relax the tension and pain. With my previous bed I would wake up stiff, if I slept too long. That is not the case with my Purple!!! I can feel less pressure on my back while lying on this bed and the mornings are truly "good mornings". And I sleep through the entire night. Even changing positions in this bed takes little effort. It was so painful with my other bed. Thanks Purple!!!!

I have had issues with my shoulder for almost 20 years now, and it only made it worse when I slept on my side, which I love to do. After sleeping on the purple mattress for a few weeks my shoulder pain is all but gone!! It doesn't even really bother me during the day anymore! This mattress is AWESOME!!!!

This mattress has helped me in so many ways. My back feels so much better, and sleeping consistently through the night, wmand waking up feeling more rested. The purchasing process was quick and easy as well. I have recommended Purple to many friends, and will happily buy from here again.

I bought a purple mattress a little over a year ago. Ive been in denial that this mattress is causing me back problems because I waited to like it a d spent so much money on it. But I spend a.good bit of time in Hotels and never wake up with the same back pain as I do at home on my purple mattress. Its also already has sagging holes after less than 2 years. Very disappointed to be stuck with this expensive heavy block of foam.
