The bed arrived within the 2 weeks as promised when I purchased this bed online. Super easy to unpack and unroll. My wife (pregnant and now post-pardum) loves it. She has no more hip pain or problems. I Have some neck pain still, but I think I need to get another pillow. Hopefully that goes away. Great so far.

I'm a cynic at heart, but after researching the purple bed, and taking the advice from our friends who also have it I couldn't be more happier. I'm an extremely active person and my old mattress was not giving me any lower back support as it was super old. First night on purple and my back already feels 100 times better.

When my wife and I decided to upgrade to a king bed after many years on a queen, we searched for what mattress to buy. After a lot of research and suggestions from friends, we decided to try Purple, given their 100-night guarantee. We purchased a king mattress, mattress protector, sheets, a platform, and two king size plush pillows for about $1550, a great value! We absolutely LOVE the bed! I had ongoing issues with sciatica in my right leg/hip for the past year. All of my pain was gone after one night on the Purple and has not returned!

We have had this mattress for a week now, and I have to say that it was the best decision we ever made! Before we got this mattress, my back hurt pretty consistently between my shoulders now matter what I did, I have woke up every morning with no pain and actually feeling rested! My husband couldn't sleep on his back without it hurting, and he tossed and turned and snored, but after a week on this mattress he has slept on his back with out pain every night and his snoring has reduced significantly. It is advertised that the mattress has a neutral temp, which is pretty true for the most part. Before this mattress I would wake up in the middle of the night, hot, sweating (even in the middle of winter), but with this mattress I still get a little warm, but I haven't woke up sweating like I did with our old mattress. We have both slept so much better, we don't normally sleep in past 6 or 6:30 am because of pain and the last 3 mornings we haven't woke up til around 7 am because this mattress is so comfortable. We also got the original purple pillows (the heavy ones) and they are great! This mattress is fantastic and we highly recommend it!

I really love my purple queen mattress. My wife and I have both slept more comfortably. The mattress is firm enough for our preference while also providing softness without dining into the foam and doesn't sleep hot. If anything the material on top can feel a little too cool upon first laying down but by morning I don't want to leave. I call asleep faster on this mattress.

The ad peaked my curiousity as I was looking to replace my bed and had been waking up with a sore neck for years. Bought one! Love love love it. It is just awesome! I truly do not wake up with neck pain anymore. I have already recommended this mattress to everyone that mentions how poorly they slept and always start with the commercial which gets an a+ for whoever was in charge of marketing!

The sleep is absolutely phenomenal!! I am a very healthy sweater and this seriously keeps me so cool during the night. My only issue is moving the mattress around and getting it set or rearranging my room. There has to be some way to make it easier moving it.

So I'm first going to say - this is NOT a bad review because of a lack of adjustment period. We bought 2 of the Twin XL's Purple 3's for our dual side adjustable king bed. This is not cheap - but my husband is a chonic pain patient specifically for his back. We loved the Purple ads - and were lucky enough to only be about 30 min from their Alpine UT showroom - so we felt better about Purple because we could actually test it out. We'd bought normal "store beds" before - always ended up hating them - but I was really worried about getting a "bed in a box" that we couldn't test. Yes - you can ship it back with most companies - but that seems like a HUGE pain! So we actually got to test it first and it was a dream! We got them and it was no different at home! Hands down the BEST mattress we'd ever had - and even though it was more than I initially wanted to spend, I regretted NONE of it! My husband was even in significantly less pain! Then... We woke up from that dream. These were perfect for a little over a year. Then my husband kept saying he felt like the coils were sticking in his back. Sure enough - it seems like at least one of them has gone on it's side, and is nearly tucked under the grid. So for that side near the edge - it's like he's laying on a spring covered with a thin cloth. I unzipped the main cover - and tried to turn the coil - no love. I tried to pull back up the edge of the grid - but I realzied, I can't really tell what's going on under there - and won't until I cut the fabric - which we haven't done yet... I bought some mattress pads to at least cover that more for now - and keep searching for anyone that might have had this problem and found a fix to it without cutting into the mattress (under the main cover of course). So far, nobody. A felt like, "Well, it's still an awesome bed - maybe just this one had an issue..." Then mine started to do the same thing, near the edge of the foot of the bed. If I flip around - my arm is laying on a freaking spring. And now we're starting to feel other places. Again - I can't even tell you what's going on - just somewhere near the edges - it's like a spring (coil) turned to the side, and the "grid" no longer covers it - and we can't wedge them back up. My hubs contacted Purple to see what to do, and got a big ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I'm super disapointed - because it's not that we didn't like the bed - but for the kind of money these cost? Just over a year isn't worth it. So now I'm trying to decide if I just cut into the under-fabric until I can see it all and then try and sew it back up later - or... if we just get something different. I just expected more.

My whole family bought purple mattress a while back so I knew what to expect when I bought mine but that doesnt take away from the comfort of it. Unique design is the best way to put it, if you dont think you'll like the grid pattern polymesh I could bet on it you will. Give this bed a try at the very least!

Ok. I have the powerbase, pillow, sheets and mattress and I've reviewed them all and I'm now thinking I was a touch hypercritical... but even if I were super hypercritical, it wouldn't matter here! This mattress was made out of 2 parts science and 1 part love, with sprinkles of magical sandman sand! This mattress is so great for me! I sleep on my back, sides, and belly in that order. It feels soft, but is firm... I think the top layer is so soft that it literally disperses your surface area completely equally...? I can't rave about it enough! The only gripe I have is that I sleep in far too long now!
