We have the original Purple mattress. I'm 200lbs, she's 130lbs. I love it, she hates it. I wake up not having pain like I used to on a Serta icomfort. She's not heavy enough to compress the grid, so she's complaining of stiffness and soreness. For me, the proof is that I don't wake up sore; albeit, the memory foam mattress "feels" better, it quickly forms body impressions which causes the memory foam to sleep like a hammock. I don't know the durability of these purple mattresses, and for us, we'll never know since we will be returning ours for my wife's sake. Maybe, I'll get a twin XL for my half? Btw, these mattresses sleep cool, not temperature-neutral, flat out cool. It pulls heat out despite using a down duvet. I run hot, so it doesn't bother me one bit. She's always complaining how cold she is. Just an honest review from someone who really wanted this mattress to work for the both of us.

I wear a sleep tracker because I was so tired during the days and never felt well rested when I would wake up. I was restless on average 30-40 times a night. Every night since we've had the Purple mattress, my restless moments have been less than 10! I'm feeling more energized and I don't wake up in pain anymore!

Sadly I had to return my matress. Due to severe back issues it is not comfortable for me at all. It feels too hard for me. Also I cannot sleep on my stomach with this bed. I wss really upset to have to return it because I heard such good things about it. I guess it just doesn't work for everyone!

We were skeptical... but with the return policy and guarantee, we gave the Purple a shot. We are both side sleepers in our 40's. Shoulder/neck/lower back problems have followed us from mattress to mattress. It's not magical, and no mattress can fix the ailments of getting older, but there is a noticeable improvement to our quality of sleep. We're sleeping sounder and actually waking up earlier because we're not tossing and turning all night. This mattress does everything as advertised and we're very happy after the 100 night trial period. Thanks Purple.

This bed is life changing! My husband and I used to sleep on cheap memory foam mattress and wake up with aches and pains all over. The purple mattress is like sleeping on a cloud. I have trouble getting out of bed because it is so comfy and cozy. I love it, thanks Purple Mattress for a good night's rest.

Since setup have not had a good night sleep yet-but my cats have, maybe its the cheap sheets we bought since the purple ones were sent back initially, the sheets box states that they were developed to work with the purple mattress because they are more flexible. We will have to wait and see.

I am 5'10 170lbs stomach sleeper that radiates while my wife is also medium and a side sleeper that freezes. This bed is a multi condition miracle! The bed does not sag in the middle when she migrates to my side in the middle of the night for warmth. I actually bounce out of bed in the morning and the motion isolation doesn't move her a bit. We once slept on a memory foam for a week on a vacation and felt trapped in a tar pit compared to this. Her hip and lower back pain are gone. I can now also sleep on my side if desired pain free. There was no chemical smell or extended break in period. Morning one was fine. Morning three was amazement. After two weeks I somehow am gloating to friends and family and writing this review. The purple sheets are a great addition. A tactile combination between silk and jersey that regulate temperature perfectly. Playing sheet stealer in the middle of the night with super stretchy sheets is fun not attempted strangulation. The bottom line is total body support, spine comfort, body temperature regulation, and price make this an easy decision.

I have been using the mattress for two weeks now, I am not sure yet, I have health issues and am not sure if the mattress is helping or hurting. I have Post polio & fibromyalgia and am finding the mattress very firm, I use to sleep on my side but cannot do that on this mattress.

I've been sleeping on my Purple for over a month, and it's not a great fit. I had high hopes for this mattress, but I found that for a side sleeper like me, it leaves me feeling sore in the mornings (I did not have this problem previously with my traditional inner-spring mattress). It's as though the foam does not compress enough to cradle the curves of my body. Overall, I think it's too firm. This all being said, the mattress was incredibly cool for a memory foam style mattress, which was great for my husband who's a very warm sleeper.

First thing to know is that the product is wonderful! Very comfortable bed which doesn't hurt my sore shoulders or back! Finally......a great night's sleep! The only problem I have, (which Purple warned me in advance,) is that I wouldn't want to get out of bed. Now that is so true!! Second, when I ordered my mattress I carefully measured my old mattress for the size needed. Well, imagine my disappointment when the purple mattress was 4-5 inches too short. I called not sure if I was able to make an exchange... but they helped me work it out. They sent the new mattress out quickly. I was surprised. I was sure I would have to wait. The service was quick, professional, and there were no incriminations about my inability to measure correctly. They simply helped me correct the problem in short order! How refreshing is that? I would definitely encourage anyone to buy a purple mattress for their next bed! I'm super happy I did.
