Ever since my girlfriend and I got our Purple bed, we started sleeping better and we no longer suffered from back and shoulder pains anymore. With the Purple, my light-sleeping girlfriend doesn't wake up anymore whenever I get in bed after her. It's wonderful! I even convinced my parents to get a Purple bed, and my mom finally started getting more than 2 consecutive hours of sleep. I can't stop telling people about how amazing Purple is! The only comments we have are: 1. The Purple website is too heavy, and takes a long time to load. 2. The Purple mattress design is not as beautiful as some of its new competitions, which isn't really a huge deal. 3. Sometimes we notice feeling the squares in the mattress, which doesn't feel as nice. If there's any way to design it so that it's not noticeable, then that's just a plus.

I have a tendency to sleep on my side all curled up, and then wake up with my back hurting like nobody's business. I got to try a night on one of these, and was starfished out all night, waking up with exactly zero back pain... so of course I bought one for myself! I put a winter quilt down as a cover, since I have toddlers that like to use my bed as a napping place, so I can't really say anything about the cooling aspect, except that even with the blanket I'm still not sweating any more like I did with my last bed xD my back, hips, shoulders, necks, and (no longer!) daily headaches are all grateful to this mattress! and the basic iron platform base is exactly what I wanted! (even if I would have preferred it be an extra 3 inches taller so that it'd go over my plugs, rather than against them) I still get my raised bed, and plenty of storage space underneath it. Overall 5*, would recommend!

I have had so many lower back issues for a couple of the year here recently I even went to the chiropractor and it did not help. Mattress Online and figured I needed to buy a new one anyway let me give it a try what could it hurt. After about a week my pain went away and my back has not gone out since. I cannot thank you guys enough for making an amazing product

I will say the mattress is a little more firm than I'd like at bedtime but when I fall asleep I stay asleep and when I wake I am not sure anywhere from sleeping. also when I wake the mattress is really comfortable so much that on my days off I sometimes just lay in bed for an hour after waking up reading books and what not.

I got my purple mattress because I was looking for a new mattress after having the same one for a decade. I had slept on a purple many times at my friend's house and it was the best sleep I ever had so I had to get one for myself. Little did I know that when I finally splurged on it and it arrived (perfect condition, fast shipping, no issues with payment), I slept on it for ONE night and woke up with body aches!! I had no choice but to keep sleeping on it because of all the hassle of getting it but every night it got BETTER. All it needed was a little breaking in (like a quality shoe). Amazed, I also started to realize that I NEVER slept hot on it. The gaps in the gel flex layer keep you cool ALL NIGHT!! I'm not a hot sleeper though and as the months got colder I realized that although the purple mattress is not cold to the touch, it retains NO body heat at all, so every night I was FREEZING no matter how many blankets I added. I did buy a mattress pad and that fixed the issue for the cold season, but if you are a cold sleeper then maybe consider that bit. But that is a small thing to compare to all the other WONDERFUL things about the purple mattress!! With school rolling around the corner after getting it in the summer, I noticed that the mattress was so easy to roll around in (firm and doesn't leave impression) that it made MUCH easier to get out of bed!! Also, I don't really sleep with a pillow as a stomach sleeper and the edge of this mattress it PERFECT to lay your face over when I don't want a face full of mattress (no rimmed edges!)! Wonderfully, my back pain went away too and the firmness of this mattress made it comfortable to lounge, work, and watch tv all day in. It is also true that the purple mattress absorbs a lot of movement so you won't get woken up by your partner (or in my case my cat) moving around in the bed. Overall, this is the best mattress I've ever slept on, it's been a year and I have no regrets! My cats love it, I love you and hopefully you will love it too!! (But I do recommend sleeping on it as a trial if you can like if your friend has one) Side note: when I got COVID-19 and had to quarantine in my room 24/7, the purple mattress was so so worth the cost, I would've died (sarcastically) if I had to quarantine on my old bed. So get it!!

I love this mattress! It took me about 2 weeks to reach this point though. My back wasn't happy at first, and I was worried. I gave it more time and I'm glad I did. I sleep through most nights now. That never happened with our old spring mattress. Thanks! Really great bed!

It's not what I was expecting when I slept on it for first night. Had slight back pain for first week. Not sure if my back was getting use to the bed or being away from the old broken down bed. I do like like the bed and still sleeping on it. The pillow was not worth the money or time

NOT for people over 300# Have had less than 3 months and already I (140#) can feel the change in support and "dip" feel on my side VS the middle . My husband sits in the edge of the bed and it hits bottom. The feel of the " dip " on his side is more pronounced, . I do NOT recommend the original purple for heavy people. The only positive is that my joints do have less pain - but how much of that was just simply replacing my 15 year old mattress??

This is a quality product but takes getting used to, especially the pillows. I highly recommend getting the platform base with the bed. It's a great combination. If you're looking for convenience of ordering online at a fair price and good quality and comfort this is the way to go.

I was so excited to buy this bed 1 month ago because even tho my old bed was only 3 years old it was sagging where I laid. I have a bulging disk at L4 and thought more support would help but every night i have the hardest time rolling over because my lower back hurts so much. it says to give yourself time to adjust to the support. But i don't know if i can I really am missing my old bed that i thought I hated so much. I will give it another month to see if i can get use to this one. I hope i can keep the bed.
