I have had this mattress for approximately 30 days now. It is comfortable and it does take time to get use to it. I have lower back pain and can normally function with it but when I transitioned to the Purple mattress it crippled me and I could barely stand. This has been better now but definitely was a down fall in the first couple weeks. The Purple mattress has continued to be extremely hot for me to sleep on. I have had to lower the temperature in my house to counter this effect with the mattress since it makes me sweat while sleeping.

Seems this matters has begun to sag after 6+ months. I can't sleep in the bed with a second person without some seriously bad back pain. It's such a shame I'll have to throw this mattress out after such a short time. It was great at first, but over time it is really compromising sleep :(

We received our Purple mattress right before I got the stomach flu and double pneumonia. Needless to say I have spent many MANY days on this new mattress of mine. Let me tell you- I would have been completely and utterly miserable on our old mattress during this bout of illness. I love our purple mattress!

Purchasing this bed is the best decision I've made in a while. I've got 3 bulging disc in my lower back, and a few other back issues, and let me tell you... this bed relieved all of that! Of course it doesn't make the pain go away completely, but it certainly provides a noticeable difference. I wake up feeling refreshed in the mornings, instead of feeling like I've been hit by a truck. Thank y'all so much! I also bought the Purple sheets, the pillow, and the mattress protector. I give everything 20 stars!! Makes the experience sooooo much more enjoyable!

I kept saying I was going to give a 1 star review to the Purple mattress claiming it has "ruined traveling for me," which it kind of has. I am writing this review the morning after my 5th night on vacation. The twinges and pains in my lower back have reminded me of a time before my wife and I purchased the Purple mattress for our home. This prompted me to finally write a review, but I just couldn't bring myself to give that 1 star review. I love the mattress! No more back pain for me, and I am a dentist which is a field known for having back pain. Mine started slightly while I was still in school, but now 15 years later (as long as I'm sleeping in my own bed at home), none. The ladies I work with roll their eyes when one of my patients mentions sleep, because they know I'm going to start telling them all about the Purple mattress and the Purple pillow to help with TMJ pain. This is getting long (I could keep going for lots longer), but I'll close with this, I am currently looking at one of the most picturesque views of the ocean you can imagine, and I'm longing to be home so that I can once again sleep on my Purple mattress. Idea: Someone starts a chain of Purple hotels! Or at least offers "Purple rooms". I'd pay more per night to stay and sleep there.

We purchased the purple bed, sheets, and pillow and it arrived hastily in good form. To our pleasant surprise, our sleeping experience has exponential increased, each night blessing us more and more with a luxurious and inimitable rest. A comfort that knows no boundaries; a relaxation that is conducive to brain health and mind wealth. To say the least, Purple has been nothing short of pleasurable!

A little over a year ago we ordered a Purple 2 mattress and power base. The delivery delay was more horrible then the old Temper-pedic mattress we wanted to replace. We almost canceled our order. However we held on a little while longer. And we are so glad we did. Both my husband and l are in our 60's and have back, hip and shouldar joint pain. Our old Temper-pedic was just not helping either of us. It was hot - fine in winter but during a typical Texas summer nite it was like sleeping on a heating pad. The delivery and set up crew were fast, polite and efficent. Our new bed was set up and ready for a test nap within 30 minutes. The comfort was shocking and the power base made the mattress even more comfortable. Even more amazing was both of us were pretty much pain free within 7 days. In April 2019 we took a long road trip. On day 10 we decided to cut our trip short and head home. Our aches and pains were back with a vengence thanks to the hotel beds. With a few days of sleeping on our Purple2 mattress those aches and pains were gone. We like our Purple so much we are buying another one to put in our new Travel trailer. The new pillow top Serta is nice enough but no way near as comfy as the Purple...

I've had my purple bed for over 3 weeks and I couldn't be happier with it. I don't suffer from any sleeping issues, I mainly got the bed for my husband who suffers from sciatica and is also a very hot sleeper. It has helped him tremendously. We got the king size because we co sleep with our daughter and she's even sleeping good on it. We are very pleased!

I was a 270 lbs backhoe operator and smoked 2 packs a day. Since sleeping on my Purple Mattress, I'm now a svelt 149 lbs of pure muscle and now the principal male balarina for the Russian National Ballet. Truly life changing. Thanks! Ps. I have changed my name to Yuri Sleptgoodalot.

I admit, I knew I wanted a Purple as soon as I first saw their advertisement featuring Mallory Everton. Any company that gets the cast from Studio C to act their commercials already has five stars as far as I'm concerned. But that's just the genius of Purple's marketing (which is the best I've ever seen, by the way). As for the mattress, I've got to go back ten years to when I was twelve years old. I had a horrible, lumpy mattress-it gave me fevers! Fevers from a mattress! That was the beginning of how I learned the importance of good mattresses and sleeping habits. Present day, I again had a recent experience with another awful mattress which essentially gave me depression. When this happened, I knew I needed a different mattress, and I knew which one. Though I knew beforehand I wanted a Purple, sleeping on one has only proven my expectations exactly right and then some. I'm now already looking forward to getting a Purple Pillow to match!
