While Purple does not remove all pain (hips/back) it does lessen the pain. I am hoping that over time my Purple mattress will allow healing to take place in hips and shoulders to reduce the pain even more! I love the concept of a mattress designed to reduce pressure point stress. I attest that my mattress does in fact reduce pressure point stress. Who knows what other benefits will come as a result?! From the first online ad of protected raw eggs at those infamous pressure points I was hooked! It has taken years to get to the point where the purchase was made and the mattress enjoyed. I bought this mattress the second time, when I moved to Alaska and had to leave my first one in California. I tried some of cheaper options but they completely did not work out. My back pain is very serious after years being an accountant with improper sitting posture. Recently, I follow 2 "revolutions": (1) work when standing (with standing desk, of course) and (2) sleep on Purple only. Those solved my problem. Even though I have to take 6 month finance, it is worth every penny.

The Purple Mattress has been the best bed I've slept on. I've tried many other well-known bed but wasn't completely satisfy with them. I am a light sleeper and normally toss and turn several times throughout the night. I also find it difficult to fall asleep and would end up laying in bed past my bed time. With previous beds, I would wake up tired and struggle waking myself up. However, with the Purple Mattress, despite being a light sleeper, I am well rested and don't wake up with the feeling of not getting enough sleep through the night. The warranty that comes with the bed is also a plus. My only critic is the price range. The Purple Mattress is on the expensive end for my budget but well worth it for someone like me who gets little sleep through the night.

Its great. We got the king bed, with sheets, mattress protector, platform base and pillows for UNDER $2000. Like holy crap, thats so much cheaper then any mattress store around here. something comparable would cost over $4000! The bed and pillows are both great and really comfortable.

We bought this mattress after we lost everything in a flood and had to replace our pillow top mattress and sleigh bed we had just purchased. We were kind of skeptical about it at first since it was quite a difference from what we were used to. We have now had this mattress and metal base for almost 4 years now and have never had a more comfortable bed ever. We will never go back to a conventional mattress again! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great night sleep!

I've slept on our Original Purple mattress for only two nights now, and I'm a believer. I usually struggle to fall asleep because I sleep hot and can't get comfortable. Something I noticed my first night with this bed is that I actually felt COOL under my down comforter. We purchased a King because I'm a light sleeper and my partner tosses and turns. I guess we could have gotten a Queen because she's noticed that she doesn't toss and turn in this bed. I can sleep on my side with my arm under my pillow (my favorite sleeping position) and I feel no discomfort or pressure like I did with my old mattress. By the way, my old mattress wasn't a slouch. It was a great quality mattress, but it still doesn't even compare to this one. The price for Purple is obviously steep, and that was a sum of money that was very hard to part with, but I suppose I can't put a price on the quality of sleep that I'm getting with this bed. I'm recommending Purple to all my coworkers whom, incidentally, all seem to be mattress hunting right now. 10/10 would buy again.

I always have ongoing chronic back and neck pain due to muscle tension, pinched nerves, and possibly fibromyalgia. Purple changed my sleep entirely. My pain was messing up my life, and while the mattress isn't fixing the medical problem, it makes sleep so much more comfortable and lessens my pain dramatically. I hate sleeping on any other bed now, because nothing compares. I highly recommend the stretchy sheets and a Purple or memory foam pillow to use with it. As someone who has a curvy body, the mattress hugs and cradles and supports all of my body which alleviates my lower back pain. Note: I am a back sleeper, although with Purple I can sleep on my side comfortably too.

I saw the commercial (absolutely love that woman acting in it by the way and the humor) and was intrigued but hesitant, this was so different from my conventional mattress. After receiving my sample of the product I bought a seat cushion first to see if I liked it, it felt strange at first but comfortable, comfortable enough that I tried it out as a pillow (before actual pillow shipments), and I found I liked it even more for that purpose! That's when I decided to take the test and placed my order. I figured I might have a few sleep deprived nights to start out (and after carrying this king sized monster I really really hoped that I wouldn't have to lug this back out to the curb for pick up on day 100), but I slept like a baby on night one and now going into my second month of use I couldn't be happier to finally toss the old bed out!! I'm definitely not a tiny little guy and I basically sleep in the same spot (side sleeper), or close to it every night and you'd never know it. I might have to start locking my door so none of the younger bears in the house try to use it when I'm not around...lol. I also bought the pillow and absolutely love that as well!! Great job Purple, so what's next? :) Oh and by the way the customer service has been excellent so far also! Sweet dreams from Streamwood, Illinois...

It has been a few weeks since we got our purple mattress. The first few nights I had to adjust to it but I sleep much sounder now and move less than I did. My back pain has substantially lessened. Time will tell, but hopefully it holds up well. So far I am very satisfied.

Our first couple of weeks on our Purple mattress have been wonderful. I love that I can't tell when my husband turns over...no more waking up every time he moves! Our backs are feeling great...it is so comfy. We hope it feels just as good a year or two from now!
