I suffer from cornice back and hip pain. For the past two years I have dreaded bed time, I would wake up in much worse pain than when I went to bed. I have only been sleeping on the purple bed for five nights, at first I thought it, an ok mattress I woke with less pain but still a lot, and then the purple sheets finally got hear they are a must with this mattress they completely transformed it into the bed of my dreams, it cradles my body like a cloud, O pressure point pain I am amazed at the difference the stretchy sheets make, they are a must for this mattress to help with pain. LOVE LOVE LOVE this bed .

We purchased the purple king mattress after looking at all the other brands glad we picked the Purple brand. Very comfortable could never sleep on my back because of all the pain back with other mattresses now that we got the Purple we can sleep on our backs and any other way with no pain at all. Finally getting a good night sleep and not getting up in the mornings with all the aches and pains, every night and morning gets better. This is a FANTASTIC MATTRESS!!!!!! The seat cushion is also very comfortable. Thumbs up to all the great people at Purple for all their help and having a Fantastic product keep up the good work and we will keep telling people about Purple THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

This is not a detailed breakdown as I am not equipped to make one, but I tried both mattresses, and though my Purple was costing me a little more than $100 more, I had to return the Casper. It was love at first lay. The level of cushion was comfortable, and while cooling gel has always been too cool to me, the Purple's ability to prevent too much heat retention is in my Goldilocks zone. Would recommend!

We got our new mattress a month ago - the day after I began a 2 week bedrest for foot surgery. I couldn't make it one night on our previous mattress without waking up achey and sore. The Purple was just want I needed. I was amazed that 24 hour use for 14 days did not leave a 'dent" or seem to break down the mattress in any way. I had great sleep, and even though my body was sore from such limited movement, all the problem areas that were sore using the last mattress (hips, shoulders, etc.) remained surprisingly comfortable. My husband has neck and back issues, which have greatly lessoned with the Purple. We couldn't be happier with our purchase!

I spent the money on your mattress because when I first tried the mattress I loved it. But after having it a few months, I am aware it doesn't properly support my side when sleeping. I wake up so sore in the hips and it makes me so disappointed. One good thing is I don't overheat the way I used to, but I'm sad to say that's the only up side so far. I spent so much money and I just want to love it

I bought this mattress after a lot of debate, but I was intrigued by the technology and reviews. My partner loves it, but I do not. I believe it's simply a difference in weight. I'm a pretty small person and when I lay on this mattress, the grid that is so bragged about barely sinks in. It feels like laying on the flat ground. I feel like someone who weighs more would love it, but I hate this. Wish they would mention this more on their website. I'm so disappointed.

Good bed but for some reason I expected more. I guess the hype isn't all it's lived up to be. Yeah I sleep so much better at night but the bed isn't as soft as I was anticipating and you can't really get by without a box spring underneath it. This bed is an upgrade but not top of the line. I'm super please with the quality for what we paid though, I really feel like you can't find a cheaper bed without sacrificing quality.

I've been sleeping on the mattress for a couple months now. It's got great soft, breathable support from the collapsible grid on top, with nice firm support from the sturdy foam underneath. That means no pressure points, but no getting swallowed up either. My arthritic hip is loving it! If this thing is still good in 10 years, it'll be a great purchase... time will tell.

I have slept on a Temperpedic for a long time, and have had shoulder problems for years. When I slept I was continually in pain. Even after my shoulder replacement I was still in pain when I slept. So I tried Purple. My pain is gone, I can sleep all night. In the morning I used to get up and my sheets and blankets were in a wad from tossing, now in my Purple My bed looks like no one slept in it. I love this bed.

I could certainly say that we've never slept better since we got our Purple 4 mattress! I could also say that we don't wake up with aches and pains any more! But the facts are this: I checked the sleep patterns on my activity tracker (where the goal is 7.5 hours sleep each night). In the 60 days before we got our Purple mattress, I hit the goal 10 nights. In the 60 days after we got our Purple mattress, I hit the goal 30 nights. Nuff said.
