I love my mattress (new version 3") but I wish I had bought the 4". I just came to the website to see if they sell a topper so I could add one but they don't. Oh well, it's great without it, but if you're gonna buy go all out and buy the top of the line. Love my Purple!

I wanted to give myself time to adjust and give this mattress a genuine chance and I can honestly say nearly 4 months later I am so unhappy with this purchase. My husband and I share this bed. We are 150/120 pounds. The edges of the mattress are high and firm while the center dips substantially down. We have to lay dead center on it otherwise our body is at an uncomfortable angle and with two grown adults you can imagine how uncomfortable that is on top of it. It doesn't help both of our backs either, it quite amplifies the pain. I was very hopeful with the positive reviews. I had high hopes for this mattress. We have some friends that have a Purple mattress and raved about it. Sadly I haven't had a good night sleep since before I got the mattress and I paid a lot of money for it. That's what's most upsetting, to have spent as much as I did to be as unhappy with the product as I am. I'm really disappointed I spent so much money to be as uncomfortable as I am and the process to return it seems like a huge pain, so I feel like I'm stuck with a bad mattress and out a lot of money. I know Purple mattress has been great for so many but it hasn't for us. I wish I could say I love the product and am so happy with it but I'm not and I can't. I'm sorry Purple team. I was hopeful and I tried.

After doing months of research I finally decided to go with the Purple mattress. I bought a queen size signature mattress. The Good: The mattress is comfortable in a utilitarian kind of way. It took my husband and me about two weeks to adjust to the mattress. During those two weeks we woke up stiff. But this was to be expected. Now, it seems to be a good fit for us both. An odd sort of side-effect is that I've been having seriously vivid dreams. I assume it's because I've been getting better sleep. It's not a bad thing, just a surprise. We live in a cold climate and I noticed that the mattress is COLD. I fixed that by turning our electric blanket on about a half-hour before bed. The Bad: The mattress smell was noticeable for about three weeks. It wasn't over powering but it was detectable. Not my favorite smell. The non-recyclable (also bad): The purple duffel bag tube thing is vinyl and not recyclable! It's such a shame! During my research, I looked into the packing material to see what the deal was there. The purple website said that most of the packing was recyclable. I should have looked further. Worse, they have you cut open the vinyl bag to get the mattress out, so there is no chance of re-purposing the thing. It surprises me that will all the clever engineering that goes into the purple mattress, that something that simple can't be figured out. It would have seriously changed my decision process had I figured this out before I bought the mattress. All in all, the mattress itself is good. Not mind blowing, but it does what its supposed to do. Our backs don't hurt and we are getting good sleep. One thing that I was not expecting (probably everyone else did, except for me) was that you can feel the grid 100%. It took some getting used to. It's not terribly luxurious. It is fine, but I'm not sure how I feel about it at this point. Maybe it will grow on me. Will I buy another Purple mattress in 10 years? Honestly, I don't know. We'll see how long it takes for the mattress to sag, and if they can figure out a more eco-friendly way of packaging the thing.

I have to say, the only reason we purchased this was because we felt secure in the 100 day return policy. I am SO skeptical about buying anything like this online. My husband was not sure when we first opened it...now he talks about it all the time, "Our bed is the best! It's so nice! It's so much better than so-and-so's!" We are in total agreement. I am 100% sure it has also helped TREMENDOUSLY with my bulging disc/sciatic pain. It's absolutely amazing. If you are on the edge, JUST DO IT.

Bought mattress for my elderly parents and the shipping by Fed-Ex was delayed 2 times. When it was finally delivered, the box was left outside and the delivery person didn't ring or knock to alert them of the delivery. We were later informed that it was signed for by someone that didn't exist in their complex. They got help to move it inside and they love it.

The Purple mattress was really great for the first 100 days, but I do have to say, it is doing exactly what I was afraid it would do, without enough support, it is beginning to break down. We have only had our mattress since the end of August 2016. I would not make this purchase again.

I've been sleeping on a twin sized hand me down bed my whole life. (Age 23 now) At 6'4 my legs dangling off the bed always ready to be taken by any monster hidden underneath, I figured it was time to make an investment on an amazing bed. The purple ads captivated me in purchasing a mattress for myself. I got the purple 4 queen sized mattress, base, plush pillows, original pillow, sheets... the WHOLE SHABANG! It may have drained my McDonald's working ahh's savings but it didn't drain my sleep. Also back in the gym and one of the most important aspects in building muscle is proper sleep. With purple i find it hard sometimes to fully wake up but when I do I have energy for the whole day. I love my purple products. I've been making all kinds of sleep gains.

Did a lot of homework on all of the internet matress companies out there and chose Purple because of the massive amount of great reviews and also the talk of firmness in the reviews. The matress doesn't sink at all. Very firm - but because of the gel on top still has softness, spring and full support. I've been sleeping like a champ ever since getting this thing. It's not hype - this is the best matress I've ever had. Get one!

My wife and I decided it was time to upgrade from a Queen to a King. We had friends and family members who had purchased a purple mattress and couldn't say enough good about them. Since we purchased our king mattress we have had amazing sleep and support and wake up refreshed every day. We are big fans of Purple Mattress

I've been looking for "the one" for years. That special pillow that will keep my neck from being stiff and sore in the morning, and won't heat up in the middle of the night. Well the Harmony pillow is it. It's cool to the touch. It's not too firm, but not too plush either. It feels buoyant. As a side sleeper, my head feels like it is floating on air, not stuck on some concrete slab or sinking into quicksand. I'm really impressed, and really thankful that I've finally found "the one!"
