Not for me. I gave it its 21-day trial, and my hips and shoulders/neck don't feel any better than they did with my sleep number mattress (which I also found uncomfortable). I can see how this would be an ideal mattress for a back sleeper- the material isn't soft enough for me, personally. The off-gassing was also terrible for the first two weeks... but it got much less noticeable after that time period.

Was due for a new Matress, bought purple. At night I sleep on it, and am able to fall asleep. Seems to be doing the job I bought it to do. Nothing really magnificent sticks out. It's a soft place to go to sleep...it's hard to say it's amaxing, since it's doing what I paid it to do...

I am not typically one to write product reviews, especially for beds. I have never slept in a bed I found comfortable due to back and body pain. I was very skeptical about Purple but if it can cradle an egg it should craddle me. Firstly I was impressed with the honest customer communication and service. They shipped my bed quicker than quoted which was a nice surprise. Their communication detailed the process and packaging perfectly so there were so surprises when it arrived. It unpacked easily and was ready to sleep on in minutes. Bed time finally arrive and I found that I drifted off easily. The real shocker was the next morning when I awoke, I realized I hadn't move an inch in my sleep. I was afraid to move expecting the normal routine of pain and stretching. I found none, no pain no stretching. I sat up easily and was shocked my pain was gone. I look forward to sleep now with my Purple bed, and they have won a customer for life. Anyone with back pain of any kind should give this bed a try.

This is a wonderful mattress! I used to have hip problems with my old mattress, even with the memory foam top I added. No more flipping and rotating either. I am very pleased and impressed with this mattress. Wonderful price, great delivery. So grate full for it.

My husband and were always having hip and back pain (I am a nurse, he is a GC- we are always on our feet). I decided to go for it and purchase a Purple mattress- BEST PURCHASE EVER. I have never slept so peacefully in my life. No more hip or back discomfort and I have not woken up in the middle of the night since owning it (Its been about a month). I am definitely a lifetime customer.

I suffer from back problems. I have had back surgery at a young age, and have severe arthritis in my spine. needless to say sleeping comfortably can be tricky. my husband and I bought the mattress, frame, mattress protector, sheets, and pillows. everything, minus the pillows are terrific. the mattress cradles and supports my spine, allowing me to sleep comfortable throughout the night. I don't wake up feeling tired or worn out. Great mattress! I highly recommend.

My wife purchased a king Purple 7/25/2017, we were both very excited. It was great at first, then slowly became worse and worse for my back. Weird ache through my whole back after about an hour of sleeping, after sleeping on it for just over a year. My back is fine the moment I stand up in the morning. I don't like returning things or being wasteful, and my back didn't really start to hurt until after 100 days, so now I just feel stuck with it. Many other mattresses give 365 day trial which tells me the others are more confident in their product. For me this mattress was a waste of money.

We bought Purple almost on a whim. I have low back issues and sleeping on a foam mattress topper, although cushy, was not giving me the support I really needed. It took me two night to adjust to purple, but now I hate sleeping anywhere else. So glad we made an impulse buy!

My wife and I got a king size original mattress. The bed is great and we both agree that we are getting better quality sleep. The only problem we have with the bed is after 2 weeks, we found a divot near one of the corners. The bed sank down about 1-2 inches. Luckily it has not impacted us too much. Hopefully the product holds up for a few years.

I always woke up 10 times in the night, had pain everywhere woke up tired, feeling like crap. The memory foam was a disaster to sleep on. Purple changed everything for my wife and me. I enjoy sleeping agian, my pain is completely gone in my back, i cant say enough the support is perfect yet its soft and contours ur body no matter what position.
