The major selling point for me was how durable the set up seemed. I definitely don't see this mattress sinking down over time like spring mattresses do. It is definitely very comfortable to be sure. I think the biggest factor is that I seem to wake up from REALLY deep sleeps; like the kind when you first wake up, you feel excessively heavy because you're not entirely awake yet, and you're so groggy, you just snooze the alarm? That RARELY happened with my old mattress. I was almost always slightly awake when I slept on my old mattress, an therefore never really got a full night's rest since I never reached REM sleep. That being said, the advertisements said that this mattress cradles my pressure points for maximum comfort, but I found that not entirely to be true. While yes, it does cradle your body very well, I did find myself waking up sore sometimes, and it REALLY hurts. That being said, I'm not gonna knock down the score TOO much, because I honestly don't know if this the fault of the mattress, or because I'm the type to flip around like a ninja in my sleep. I swear to god, I sleep on my side when I first go to sleep, and I wake up on my stomach, my head tilted to the sleep, my body spread throughout the bed, and all of the sheets and even some of my pillows kicked off. I'm a violent sleeper I guess. Still a good experience though, and I look forward to sleeping on it for years to come. The PILLOW on the other hand is...... uh.... wierd...... that's all I can say about it, and why I'm talking about it here, and not writing another review.... it's.... it's just wierd.... I'm honestly glad I didn't pay money for it, because.... well.... it definitely doesn't FEEL like a pillow, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing, or a bad thing, and to be honest, I'm afraid to know the answer.

Honestly it's 100% worth the price. Moving it sucked, I was exhausted when I moved it and my back hurt so bad. I'm not joking when I tell you after I set the mattress up, I laid on it for maybe 5 minutes to try it out, and when I got up I felt like I had just woke up. This mattress is magic. The first night sleeping on it my back was popping all night from my spine properly lining up. It was a weird and magic experience lol. My back no longer constantly hurts. The only issue I do have with the mattress is that I've only had it for 2 months and it's already starting to morph from my laying on it. Other than that it is the best mattress I've ever slept on and the best thing I've ever bought. 10/10 would recommend.

We bought the Purple in March of 2017. At first (after the adjustment period) it was great! We had the best sleep ever! I have multiple joint issues, back problems, and chronic pain; this was the first mattress I had slept on that made me feel better. However, for about a year now, the mattress has gotten progressively worse. I wake up multiple times a night and often wake up in more pain than before I went to bed. We have rotated the mattress multiple times, but we have permanent indentations on both sides. There was so much potential in this mattress, I just wished it lasted longer. Now I'm left trying to find a mattress with the exceptional support that this mattress started out with, and hope that the same thing doesn't happen again.

My husband and I had a high end bed that was very soft and causing us back pain and soreness. We decided we needed a new mattress and found purple. It has been a lifesaver! No more soreness or stiffness in the morning. It took a few nights to get used to but we sleep great!!! So glad we found this mattress.

We are loving it already and can tell it's going to do wonders. We ordered a California king, so the only thing I would change is receiving our bed frame sooner then 6-8 weeks. Just waiting for the frame, our sheets and the mattress protector. Thanks Purple for this awesome product! It's going to help us through this pregnancy so much!

Very heavy mattress. Twin xl package was 77 pounds. I sleep in basement where it is much cooler.side sleeper.and i fall asleep maybe turn twice during nite.no more tossing and turning for me...now lets see how wear and tear is .i weigh 275 6 feet tall

The Purple mattress was my last hope. I have chronic hip and back issues and for months after tossing and turning most nights I woke up to throbbing hip pain and whichever shoudler I had slept on ached terribly. Since having the Purple I have yet to wake up stiff or sore. NOT ONCE. My husband and I refer to it as "the magic of the Purple." I will never own another mattress again! We've told all our friends and family about how much it's helped us and will recommend it to anyone else who will listen. Thank you for solving my sleep issues!

I had been sleeping on a temperpedic for the last 10 years. Within the last several years, I had been waking up with low back and shoulder pain, but I thought the pain was from getting older and the abuse of my body through strenuous exercise and outdoor hobbies. My husband and I decided to try the purple mattress because he was also waking up with back pain. We ordered the frame but it took weeks to come in. Therefore, we put the purple mattress on our box springs. This made the mattress extremely soft. I slept well and noticed that my shoulder and low back pain was gone every morning. I had not experienced that in years. I was sore though. It seemed as if my body was readjusting to the bed. My husband, on the other hand, couldn't sleep on it. He ended up sleeping in another bed and said he would give it another try once the frame came in. After the frame arrived, the bed was more firm. My husband loved it and now sleeps great. It took me some time to fall in love with the bed again because my body was sore again due to readjusting. After several weeks, we both love the bed and neither one of us wake up with pain. It's great.

I weigh 300 pounds and I'm 6 feet 6 inches tall. I had some initial concerns regarding the beds ability to support me, but the first night proved that thought false. The bedframe doesn't make a sound when I get in which is honestly a delight. I didn't notice any odd smells. The white powder to keep the bed from sticking to itself was minimal and not an issue. The only problem I've had so far is I hurt my back doing some labor and getting out of the purple bed was difficult. I believe the bed helped in my recovery but due to the way the bed holds me I had to really pull myself out of bed with my lower back in the state it was in. I plan on getting two of the 150 purple pillows eventually, when my budget allows for it. I'm completely sold on the purple line of products.

Alot of people asked for reviews of Purple. I can say they are full of promises they can not deliver. I need to return my mattress for the firm option. It is not simple nor easy. In fact I will be without a bed for WEEKS if I chose to exchange it. If I am not happy with that mattress I am not allowed to return it. The only option of communication for the process is email. I get a response 24 hours or later from the time I send my email. The bed lacks support. The quality is poor. Do not waste your time! Purp lo e is NOT recommended by me
