We've been sleeping on our new matress for a few weeks now and really love it. My wife and I have had various pains (hip, back) and this mattress not only helps us sleep better but both of us are experiencing reduced pain. One negative, I travel a lot for work and this matress does make it harder to sleep on hotel mattresses.

We purchased two twin XL back in early Nov. We have them paired together on an adjustable massage base to make for a split king. My wife and I are both waiting for they "HoneyMoon" period to wear off but we still often comment how much we love our bed. Sleeping great on it. Didn't really have any adjustment time to the bed like I expected. It just slept comfortable straight out of the gate. I would say the bed is exceptional. If your expecting a revolutionary game changer, I don't know if that exists but we consider this a phenomenal purchase. We are also using the Purple mattress cover that feels good quality and the Purple sheets that are maybe the BEST of ALL. These sheets are seriously so comfortable and look amazing.

I guess I'm having a hard time just reviewing the mattress since there are so many things that have changed since my last mattress. I also purchased the Purple Mattress Protector along with Purple's sheets so my experience includes all of those things combined. I haven't tried removing the protector yet, but I'm guessing that it might be detracting from my experience a little (not having used a mattress protector on my last mattress). I've never really had any sleeping issues (I'm now 50+) and I continue to experience quality sleep with Purple.

Let me preface my review with this: my husband and I have lived near the Equator for a long time before settling in the Upper Midwest. And our bodies adjusted to a "cold" night being around 74F inside the house. So while the makers of the bed claim it is "neutral" in regards to heat, and others indicate it is pleasantly cool, we have found it to be COLD, even after 3 weeks.I will explain how we cope with that factor later on. But we LOVE how it feels and how we sleep because: 1. I have had major chronic pain in back, hip, neck and shoulders off and on since about 1999. I finally found some diet and structural correction that was working, but the practitioner told me he couldn't fight 8 hours a night on a bad bed (my old mattress). Within a couple days, my structural correction held and has held for the last three weeks. The guy told me to only come back if I hurt. I HAVEN'T GONE BACK. 2. We travel for work a great deal, and of the many types of beds in different parts of the world and in different hotels and homes, this is by far the most soothing for our aching tired bodies and most restful. 3. My husband had very serious shoulder surgery last year and always had troubles with his shoulder and his back and now feels no pain. And I am pregnant and my old mattress was extremely uncomfortable throughout the night, now I sleep a lot more comfortably as it contours to every NEW curve I have. Very happy to be part of the new Purple mattress family!

So I have trouble sleeping because of two things, I have chronic back pain caused by sciatica, and I cannot stand the heat. This bed resolved both INSTANTLY. It was perfect. And now 6 hours of sleep feels like 9. And 8 hours feels like I never had sleeping problems.

I have been involved in the mattress industry for over 30 years and have had experience with many different mattress designs. This bed is different than any other product that is available today. I have now been sleeping on my Purple bed for two weeks and I am very happy with the feel and performance. I am looking forward to many more years of great sleep using this product.

I bought this mattress after hearing raving reviews from friends and family. I ended up buying a little Purple starter package with the Level 2 mattress, two pillows and sheets. I will never be buying anything other than purple products for my bed. The sheets are an incredible material that keep me cool all night, the pillows are perfect for my TMJ and side-sleeping position. The mattress is one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever had. I would 100% recommend purchasing this mattress and additional products.

I was very Skeptical when my husband suggested we get the purple mattress. I have been dealing with hip and back pain for years. This is the best mattress I have ever slept on. All my pain is gone and I sleep through the nights now. I would highly recommend the purple mattress.

The new mattress was comfortable right away! We were excited to open it and try the mattress out. It was strange at first, but not in a bad way, just different. It did take some getting used to but we noticed the difference in the sleep quality immediately. No tossing and turning and if we do, it does not disturb the other person. We are happy with the mattress!
