I bought two twin xl mattresses and loved them for the first 3 months, then they hardened. I ended up putting a mattress topper on to compensate, it kind of helps. It seems as if the rubber prematurely off-gassed which made it lose comfort. The pillow is still awesone

My wife and I have always had a traditional mattress and box set. We decided to give the mattress in a box concept a try and purchased a king size Floyd Bed and original Purple Mattress. We both love the mattress and couldn't be happier. Until now, I have never been able to say I liked my mattress. I liked the mattress but once i let my mother stay the night in my bed on one occasion and now i sink. I am sinking and i have uneven support in the area she slept in and now im in pain when i wake up. My mother is heavier set... a mattress thats over 1k and it cant hold its shape? Thats insannee and absolutely ridiculous.

This bed is super comfortable. It's the perfect balance of firmness and softness. Sometimes I don't even use a pillow because the mattress is just as comfortable on my neck. This was my first mattress purchase and all my friends recommended purple. I'm very pleased to recommend to others to choose purple as well. It's worth the investment to have a really comfortable bed and get better sleep.

I have not had back or hip pain since I unrolled my Purple mattress a year ago. Nothing I have ever slept has had such a perfect balance of support and comfort, all without pressure points or heat buildup. This is saying something. I do really enjoy the mattress. I've slept on it for a couple of days now. The only thing I don't like is that once sheets are out on it, it looses its shape forming properties and becomes stiff. Overall it's best for back sleepers, not side sleepers. It didn't allow my body to sink enough to be supported properly, but it was still significantly more comfortable than my old mattress so that part is a minor complaint. The pillow I didn't like at all. It actually made my neck hurt even more.

I have never slept better in my life. Everything about this mattress is amazing from the delivery to the setup and to a wonderful nights sleep. You feel cradled all over your body and aligned in all the right places. I haven't had my mattress long but my back pain is already improving from years on an old worn out pillow top. I am very happy with my Purple mattress and it was worth every penny.

I have herniated discs in my lower back and had a matttess and box spring which was not soft. The first night I slept on the purple mattress, and every night since then I have felt a restorative, soft, supportive, luxurious sleep that allows me to relax while at the same time supports and aligns with my body. I love this bed. I usually start on my back and then sleep most of the night on my side. It supports any sleep position and truly feels as a restorative sleep. I always thought of sleeping as bliss. It was great in the beginning. Now it's 5.5 months old, but the place where your bottom rests became softer significantly, so following the laws of physics your bottom will inevitably roll into the same position at the same soft spot during the night and start sagging. If you said that's not comfortable you would be right. I just rotated it today but it will probably only last a few more months before the sagging becomes significant again.
