The good: it was delivered to our door and was ready to sleep on the same night The bad: took about a month to get the mattress and now we've been sleeping on it for a few weeks and my husband's back is killing him. We're going to give it another couple weeks, but so far it's not good.

It is comfortable and definitely better than my last bed. My husband has had back surgery and it has helped his pain levels. I can feel the grid pattern which I don't love but think after I get another cover over it that will diminish. I would prefer if it were thicker, it sits pretty low to the ground on a standard frame and box springs. Overall we are pretty happy with the purchase.

My spine is fused and I bought a twin Purple mattress after having purchased a series of mattresses, none of which were comfortable. The purple mattress has been heavenly. It did take me about a week to adjust to it but it is the perfect mattress for me. I just bought a queen sized Purple mattress and I am having the same positive experience with it. I highly recommend this wonderful mattress for anyone, back problems or not. It has, without a doubt, enhanced my life. Thank you Purple!

I've got fibromyalgia and everything hurts me. Nothing completely eliminates it. But i toss and turn way less and am able to keep my oxygen cannula on at night without strangling myself now. I'm not old but I hVe chronic pain and fatigue due to the fibromyalgia. My husband tosses and turns a lot less too. I need to get the pillow now because I fight with my old one constantly. I would recommend this mattress to anyone who suffers from chronic pain issues. It's really helping me.

I want to be honest with you, this is the most supportive bed I've ever owned, and the most comfortable one, I am very satisfied. I no longer wake up in the morning with a sore neck or an acing back. Its true and no one is paying me to say this. There is one problem I have, its because I'm 6,4ft tall. I need Purple to make a California King length bed. I must sleep diagonally to keep my feet from hanging off the bed. I own a queen Purple, I need a longer bed due to my height. Everything else is perfect. Good thing my girl is 5'7, she scoots to the side and gives me more space.

The reasons I like the mattress is that I was waking up with back and hip pain with my old one and when I wake up now I am in no pain. I fall asleep fairly quickly. It's really supportive and is still fun for other activities if you know what I mean. I feel like this mattress will last a lot longer than my old memory foam bed. It feels really durable. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it took a while for my body to adjust. My legs were tingling for a month. It also feels really firm even though I know that it's not firm where my pressure points are.

I was skeptical about the purple bed at first and so was my boyfriend. However we have tried it out for over 3 months now and it has been great. I am 23 years old and I have scoliosis as well as a bunch of other back problems, torn ACLs, broken wrist, torn neck ligaments, but you get the picture. I've tried many beds but this was definitely the best bed for the cost. Since I weight about 130, the bed doesn't sink in as much for me as it does my boyfriend who is 165. I kind of float on top if it a little more. I'm not that comfortable sleeping in it but it does get rid of my back pain. I wish it was softer or if they would make another version for lighter weight people? I got my bed during black Friday which means it comes with free sheets. I somehow never got the sheets even though it said delivered. I contact Purple and it took multiple emails to get this resolved. They needed me to file a police report in order for them to send out another one. I decided that it wasn't really worth the time and effort trying to waste this police officers time when there are real problems out there. If anything I think it should have been Purple who places the call, not the customer. Bed is great though! I give the bed a 4 star and the customer service a 3 star.

We love our purple. It is extremely comfortable, supportive and cool to sleep on. The customer service from this company is also amazing. Extremely friendly, easy to work with and accommodating! However, I do feel the need to point out that the dimensions of the mattress are different than a standard queen and therefore may cause some problems with the sheets fitting snugly and the mattress fitting in a standard bed frame. Our first purple mattress was over 3 inches short in length and over an inch short on width. When I wrote to Purple, they apologized and offered to fix immediately, saying they became aware of an issue with how the mattresses are rolled and shipped. Our second purple was the right width but still 2.5 inches short. Our third mattress came this week and it is still about an 1.5 inches short. As I said, the mattress is incredibly comfortable and we are really happy with it but it just seems odd to me that every other mattress company (we have a Leesa for our daughter and another memory foam as well) is exactly 60x80 but the purples seem to struggle with the sizing. I still recommend this mattress but if you have a standard headboard and footboard set up or don't like loose sheets, be aware that this will take some playing around with sheet suspenders to keep everything snug.

I very much enjoy sleeping on my bed. I think the only issue I've had so far is that the mattress pointed out just how poor my old pillows were. But the part I want to point out the most is the platform base (just the normal one). It is, by far, the most stable bed I've ever slept on. I would buy it again even if I didn't want to keep the mattress.
