I wanted to love this mattress but, unfortunately, it wasn't what I was expecting. I constantly woke up with back pain and stiffness-- just didn't provide the pressure relief I was looking for. It almost felt like I was floating, but it didn't sink in where it needed to. Note: 3 people have tried this mattress: 2 (including me) weighs around 110-120 lbs, 1 weighs 180 lbs. Only the 180 lb friend felt like this mattress supported him well.

My husband and I both love how we don't get sucked into the mattress! It was hard to find a mattress where we both didn't end up stuck in the middle because of both our weight. It has the bounce-back that I love mixed with the much needed pressure release. So glad we bought from you guys!

Very difficult to explain how much my wife and I anticipated the arrival of our Purple King. We have owned several other products from those other companies. Purple is something very different. You could not have made me believe I could wake up each morning and not have back and shoulder pain. I watched all the videos, and read the reviews like this one... but there was no way I could understand until we had our very own Purple King. Best purchase I have made in 10 years easy. The mattress is wonderful. There are nights that I wake up and I have been in the exact same position as when I first laid down to sleep. Very happy that my back and shoulders are pain free. I suffer from chronic neck and back pain and was recommend to try this mattress by my chiropractor. I'm sleeping better than I have in over a decade! Plus, the pockets in the mattress help it to breathe, so I don't overheat in the middle of the night anymore!

We had two of these beds. It could be our imagination, but the second one seemed more comfortable. Overall I like the bed and sleep well. I love how it feels when you kneel, sit, or lean as the it's very absorbent to the pressure. It's about 90% what I want--but better than our previous mattress.

I was not paid to write this....I did a ton of research online about which mattress to buy. We decided to try the purple mattress and we LOVE it. A lot of people said its super firm but I really don't get that feeling at all. I also don't think it's too soft either. I highly recommend using their purple sheets though...they fit the best. So much cheaper and better than the store mattress we were going to buy.

We lost our original Purple mattress (bought in 2016) earlier this year due to mold in housing. We got the new Hybrid 3 and had a whole bunch of back problems. Now that we have the original one back we are sleeping great again. Definitely a great mattress!

The bed is very very firm. It caused me pinched nerves in my back, 3 weeks out of work and multiple chiropractor trips. I can't even sleep in my room. I bought their pillows and sheets as recommend, and nothing helped. If you're looking for something stiff I would recommend this.

The top layer is awesome! Next layer under, too firm for me. Even sitting on the bed you feel yourself go right through the columns to the foam and it is FIRM. If you are on your back and not a big person, you actually sleep on top the columns for the most part and it is really nice. But I sleep on my side so my shoulders go right through the top layer to the foam layer and it gets uncomfortable fast. I spend the night switching side to side and end up on my back which I don't prefer but that is the only place it is comfortable. I have started the return process. So far they have been really nice about it but I don't have my $ back yet. A really nice option is they allow you to donate the bed to a local charity. Then you email the donation letter for a refund. I have found a charity who will get the mattress this weekend and they are really excited. So, it ends well.

From the prior-purchase mattress research I did, I was expecting a dramatic improvement in my level of sleep comfort and pain relief. After 2 months, I'd say I wished I had gone with a luxury pillow-top mattress instead. Between past Tempur Pedics, luxury hotel pillow-op mattresses, premium stacked futon memory foam pads, and the Purple mattress... I'd say the hotel pillow-topper was the best, followed by the Tempur pedics, then the Purple. You get my drift. So much for the intact egg test.
