First thing i need to say is the support team is really awesome, they are really there to help customers. I had a chat with representative before buying the mattress and they recommended purple mattress for firmness, but its too soft and started getting back pain its not me even my wife, kid (9 years) old tried them and same feeling, its not a week i tried them for 4 weeks but same experience. If your looking for firm mattress its not for you. And the mattress lacks edge support.

I had high hopes for my Purple mattress. Unfortunately, I have been very disappointed. The mattress is not comfortable and it feels like I am sleeping on top of the grid it rather than a sink in feel. It's comparable to sleeping on a comforter on the floor.

I've had some other high end mattresses, and ended up trying out Purple. I really like it. It's got the stability of a good memory foam mattress, but soft just on top. I usually sleep hot on memory foam mattresses, but I don't sleep hot on this one at all. I had a few beers with friends and tried to do the egg test. We were slightly drunk, and TRYING to break the egg... Still couldn't do it! My advice is if you're looking for an amazingly comfortable mattress without breaking the bank, give Purple a try. I'm not disappointed, and I don't believe you will be either! Also, with their in home trial period, you really have nothing to lose! Side note - This thing is HEAVY. we ordered the basic purple mattress. it arrived within a week, No problems un-packing and setting up. It took about 3 days to air out the "plastic" smell. 1st night sleeping was very fine. I actually expected it to be a little softer. It is softer than our old Laytex and foam mattress. In 10 yrs or so, I expect my arthritis will demand the next level up in softness. I don't wake up with sore hips and shoulders any more. (I am a side sleeper). so far so good and going on 2 weeks now.

Buying a purple mattress was something we talked about for months, 8 months to be exact, because it's on the higher end of the price range and we don't take large expenditures lightly. We feel that we have spent our money wisely! The structure and comfort is in perfect harmony. It's soft and firm and I can't even explain how that makes sense. I can now sleep next to my husband in my own spot without being slowly rolled into his side. The difference really isn't even comparable. It's nothing like a regular mattress and it's nothing like memory foam. We really needed exceptional comfort and the best rest because we work 12 to 24 hour shifts and that does a number on your body. I'm so happy we decided to finally go for it and place the order! I also super love the sheets! What is that stuff even made out of?? It's like silk spun with moisture wicking workout clothes. Also the eye mask! I don't even use it for light blocking sleep, I use to sleep when I have a tension headache and it is so amazing!! This review is now much longer than I intended but I remembered I bought other stuff than just the mattress lol. I also got the mattress protector because I've never not used a mattress protector and I might as well put my trust in the same brand. Thank you so much for what you have created!

I had high hopes for this mattress. I was one of the original Purple mattress buyers, so I've had this mattress for a while, and can give an honest review. The cover on the mattress, which is removable so you can wash it, has tiny holes. I wanted to purchase a new cover, but they wouldn't even give me the option to. They just said it was no longer under warranty, which I knew, but they still wouldn't give me the option to buy a new cover. That being said, I put a mattress pad over the actual mattress, to help protect the cover. The actual mattress isn't very comfortable. If you sit on the edge of the mattress to put socks on, it has no support on the edges. I've also noticed that the mattress is sagging in spots. I rotate the mattress every three months, which doesn't seem to help. You can't flip this mattress, which is a bummer. I don't have any particular position that I like to sleep in, so I can't really recommend if this is a good mattress for side sleepers or back sleepers, as I like to sleep in both positions. It was pretty comfortable laying on my stomach, but I can't sleep like that.

I have been sleeping on this for about 60 days and its just eh... It's ok. Feels strange to lay on. I have the jersey sheets to let it move and the sheets are not tight. To me it feels like I am too light for the bed (150lbs). and so there is not enough give to it. Seems just a bit too rigid. I feel like I am not being molded properly. I suppose I wish it were more plush. Like a cloud. Right now it is more of an egg crate feel. A soggy egg crate as it bends under my weight just a bit. Once asleep I suppose I sleep well though. I feel rested and the weird feel of the bed makes me want to not stay there for long so I get out of bed easily. So not a terrible bed, but maybe not the best bed for me. If I had a choice whether to buy it now after I have been laying on it I probably wouldn't have purchased. I may return within the 100 days.

The Purple Mattress is by far the best mattress I've ever slept on! I wake up refreshed every morning and best of all, no more back aches! I used to toss and turn on my old mattress but not with Purple! Thank you, Purple, for giving me the best nights sleep, every night!

I have spent thousands of $$$$$$$ On Other brand name mattresses from the expensive air mattresses to the memory foam matressses to the pillow toppers and Purple is the first mattress I can get a good nights sleep on. I use to sleep hot until I got a Purple, I use to wake up in pain but then I got a Purple. See I sleep on my side and have had several shoulder surgeries so it was important to get a comfortable mattress. Well hats off to you Purple! I recommend Purple Matressses to everyone I know. And if you were wondering I have th 'OG' Purple.

Im not happy nor sad with the mattress. honestly im a bit confused, as it is some sort of soft, but not as soft as i expected. I do think this is my personal concern only. the mattress conforms to your body which makes me feel like im laying flat (not really enjoying that). i have not been upset to the point of return and we have had it for around 4 weeks now. time will tell.
