I was very skeptical and no one I knew had tried a Purple mattress. I used to wake up with hip and lower back pain frequently but since I got the Purple mattress, I have not woke up with any back or hip pain. I was surprised and ecstatic not waking up to that anymore.

I absolutely love the Mattress which I have had for two weeks now. However I have still not received one of the items I ordered. I emailed twice and had to call to get someone to read the emails. They now said I should see a shipping number for the item by Tuesday. A bit of a bummer since it was supposed to be a Christmas present for someone. As for the matress it is incredibly comfortiable.

This was only comfortable the first night for me. Every night thereafter resulted in a lot of tossing and turning for me, and every morning I felt exhausted. I'm happy to be returning this since it doesn't do well for me. I do prefer a firmer mattress so I've had my reservations from the beginning. I'm sure this mattress will do well for others, but being that it's quite gooey in feeling for my liking and I'm getting lower back pain from it, I'll have to try something new instead. With regards to the powder, it's also never been a problem for me and I've changed the sheets only once so far with dark sheets since I've had it for about a month and haven't seen a thing.

There has been a drastic change in my husbands and I sleeping habits. It used to be that we would both couldn't stay asleep through the night, but that all changed when we received our Purple mattress. It is a bit expensive but it is completely worth it.

Average mattress a lot firmer than advertised. Major issue is the weight of the mattress-ridiculously heavy. Whatever bed you can get it to is where it will stay. Difficult to move when it's rolled up from the factory-can't imagine moving it after its unrolled. You will need 4 strong adults.

Didn't take us any time to adjust to our new Purple mattress. We love it. We had bamboo sheets we used until our Purple sheets arrived. And they are"purple"!! It took a little bit to get use to the texture of the sheets, but now I like them. I would recommend a Purple mattress!

After seeing Purple's genius marketing strategy for years, I finally caved in and put it on my credit card. I almost cried the first night because it was so stiff and uncomfortable. My friends knew not to say anything because they knew how much I have been waiting for this bed. After a week, I noticed that it was starting to feel how I expected it to. Three weeks in and everyone I know wants to sleep in this bed. Who would have though that putting "I own a purple mattress" on tinder would have all the guys flocking. Just kidding I wish I had that kind of game.

In high school I met a drunk driver going the wrong way in the dark, and I have had recurrent back issues ever since. That was 1969. In June I rolled out my purple and laid dome on it on my back with feet hanging over the edge. In a minute my neck popped, then my middle back, and finally my problematic lower back. No chiropractor needed! Since then I have had no problems with my lower back locking up. I love this bed!

My wife and I have been sleeping on a Tempur-pedic for 14 years and are very satisfied with the mattress. I thought we needed a change. No specific reason. I am 'ok' with the Purple mattress, although it is smaller because of the slope and rounded edges. It's my wife that has had a problem adjusting to the softness and 'bounciness' of the Purple mattress. If her disapproval continues this week I will need to return it.

I did my research on all the competing mattresses I could buy online and the purple ended up meeting everything I was looking for. Fast forward to now and it's an ok mattress. It isn't mind blowing. Yes it's pretty cool to the touch but my back and neck have been hurting more since I got it. I'm still going to give it time since it hasn't been the full month so we'll see.
