The way the mattress forms to your body it is really hot. I find myself waking due to being so hot. Additionally while the mattress does feel good; when the mattress forms around you it tends to pull the fitted sheet as you sink in (I like tight sheets). I am still new to this mattress only a month in but I have noticed these issue that leads to this review.

After having so much pain with my old mattress, my brother suggested The Purple Mattress after hearing reviews from friends. I did so much research and on Black Friday pulled the plug and purchased the King purple mattress. It is very heavy but I was able to set it up by myself. There was little to no smell. And I love it. The Purple Mattress is the way to go. I do not feel any pain in my joints and I cannot feel my husband move around in the bed. I am amazed at this product and will keep suggesting it to others for a new mattress.

No more blues when waking up having slept on the new Purple memory foam mattress. It is quite firm, which you want, because memory foam is known to break down after a couple years. The cushy foam topper is just that, and the fabric is smooth and gentle to the touch. NO restless nights unless my Pug can't sleep. The downside is, you don't want to get out of it. I bought an adjustable bed frame which is perfect! The last memory foam mattress gave me such a lower back ache during the day, and this one does not. I'm pleased with this purchase.

So I've been wanting this mattress for a really long time. I can't tell you how many times I watched the ads, read the reviews, and just looked at the website. I finally was able to purchase the mattress and got literally everything else except the pillows but I plan to get some in the future. I have the platform base, the mattress protector, the sheets, and the royal seat cushion. I HAD VERY HIGH EXPECTATIONS when buying this mattress so when I first opened it up and got on it I was kinda dissappointed. I literally expected my world to be turned upside down and for my body to feel like nothing it's ever felt before. Not the case. It was harder than I thought so I was kinda sad! Then I researched more into how important the adjustment period is. I'm 5' 8" and 130 lbs. I don't really sink into the mattress like I thought I would. BUT! That's all my honest opinion. I LOVE THE MATTRESS. I'm only on day 3 of sleeping on it but it even felt better the second night. I've never had a problem with back pain or sleeping through the night but it's not like I suddenly have those problems after switching to purple. I love laying on it and would lay on it al day long! I love the platform base. Mine doesn't squeak for me just yet and I've had it a couple weeks longer than the mattress. THE SHEETS ARE LITERALLY THE BEST THING IVE EVER PURCHASED IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!! Seriously those changed my life like I expected the mattress to. I wish they sold pillow cases separately cause I want two more pillow cases since I have a king bed. Anyways I love my decision and won't go back on it. I'm a purple fan and would recommend to anyone BUT I would advise you to lower your expectations and to give it some adjustment time. I'm still giving mine adjustment time as I'm only in the beginning. Yoi can also feel the little purple squishy things when you lay on the mattress which is okay but I've never felt that before. I also have the mattress protector. It looks like it'll do its job perfectly if there's ever any spills. And I definitely like to eat in bed. I hope you all enjoy your purchase! Purple mattress isn't for everyone but if you choose it definitely give it more of a chance then when you first lay on it!

I love my mattress. Me and my wife previously had a hybrid mattress (partial spring and memory foam) that we liked , but moved and were in the market for a new one. A coworker suggested looking at Purple, and are glad we did. For a king size, you're getting high quality for a low price. You can find similar priced kings, but with no comparison for the quality and comfort. I sleep mostly on my stomach and side, where my wife sleeps on her side and back. Both of us love our sleep. It used to take me almost an hour to fall asleep. Now it takes 20 minutes. My wife is asleep in 15 minutes. We stay asleep without interruption longer too. Any aches or pains I used to get from sleeping have melted away. For us it took only a couple nights to get used to and are now happier than ever with our sleeping situation. Sleeping is 1/3 of your life and I would definitely recommend Purple to anyone looking for a better mattress.

I am enjoying my Purple bed, and so are my children! Even with wetting the bed, it's fairly easy to clean. It's still a lot of work, but at least the cover comes completely off and underneath is that material you can wipe off with disinfectant or whatever cleaner.

At first it was exciting and seemed like a good idea. The bed is comfortable, if you sleep on your back. It is firmer than i imagined and thought it would get softer, but it didn't. It is not very comfortable to sleep on your side, but the thing that led me here is that it is hot. Yes the grid would be cool, if it were not for the foam that is put over it as part of the matress.

When I ordered this mattress I was skeptical. I kept our old mattress just in case. I'm extremely pleased to say I didn't need to keep that old mattress because this mattress has been like a dream. I have back and hip pain. I would always wake up with pain. My husband was worried it would be to soft for him and he thought he would wake up in pain. This mattress has worked out perfectly for both of us. It's not too soft but somehow molds perfectly to your body. No pain for either of us. We absolutely love it!

I'm not happy with this mattress and will request a replacement. I'm about 175 pounds, 5'10" with wide shoulders, and the mattress simply isn't soft enough for me to sleep on my side. I wake up with sore shoulders in the middle of the night, and on a few nights I woke up out of the pain I felt. That being said, the mattress seem to be of good quality and supports me well. The shopping experience was good, delivered in the expected time. However, the website had outdated information regarding showrooms. I tried to visit two showrooms in the Seattle area (Northgate and Uni Village), both listed on the website, but both were closed. Besides making me lose time going to those places and wandering around after something that was permanently closed, I could have saved me a lot of headache and bad nights if I could just try the mattress before purchasing.

I am 66 years old. During my lifetime, my body took some hard hits. Injuries, illnesses and now age. I bought the base and the Purple Twin XL; including the protector and sheets. A game changer! The morning aches and pains have disappeared and I am highly energetic after having slept so profoundly comfortable. My first cup of coffee rarely gets more than half done; I feel better than I have in years. Thanks Purple!
