Excellently made product, helped out alot with my back pains from standing at work for 12 hours a day. Mattress is decently cool but the hybrid pillows are a must have with it. Only complaint about the purple mattress is that it feels like theirs a spot in the center where it formed some what of a body marking which is odd since its only 3 weeks old but othet than that it's a great mattress.

We've had the purple mattress a little over a month now, and both my husband and I are very happy with the mattress. We did have some moments of doubt early on, however. We got the mattress right as we were moving into our new second story bedroom, and, after about 4 or 5 days on the new mattress, I was having some majorly debilitating and unusual back pain. I'm still not sure whether the pain was from lots of heavy lifting during the move (it took us several days to assemble and move our furniture into our new addition) or if it was me adjusting to the mattress, or possibly some combination of both. Lots of pain meds for another 4 or 5 days and then 4 nights in a hotel on vacation later, my back was fine. I've had absolutely no issues since we got back from the trip and have had comfortable and deep nights of sleep ever since. Ultimately, I'd recommend the mattress to others, and tell them to really give it time if they don't love it at first.

I purchased a king purple bed and have used it for approximately the past three months. This bed is beyond amazing! It offers support in all the needed areas, while still providing comfort at all points of contact/pressure points. The mattress does not run hot like previous memory foam mattresses I have tried. If you like a firm mattress with good support that also provides the correct amount of soft comfort, the Purple Mattress is for you!

This mattress is the only one I've ever had that has truly given me balance and no pressure when laying on my side. I had a sleep number before the Purple mattress and can honestly say that I'm never going back. No "sides" of the bed and worrying about too much pressure, sleeping too close to your spouse, or getting too close to the edge. Equal support all the way around regardless of how and where you sleep.

My hips are extremely picky- they burn and hurt with anything that is too firm. This mattress is PERFECT. It supports you in all the right places. It's quiet and still, I don't have to worry about waking my partner when I get up or flip over. Wish we got one sooner. The harmony pillows are insanely good too. Yall need to make shoes outta this stuff.

I was sold on the magic of the Purple mattress from the almost 5 minute commercial featured on the website. I was, maybe unreasonably, expecting to fall asleep within minutes of lying down because I thought it was going to be immensely comfortable. As far as comfort, it is ok. It feels like a typical, firm memory-foam mattress. My wife says she can feel it providing better back support for her but I'm not sure I do. I especially don't feel it on my sides like Purple advertises. I will admit that I am a heavy person at 270 pounds, but the website, at the time of purchase anyway, said that it supported up to 300 pounds for each person (those more expanded details don't seem to be there now). As such, it has started to cave in on my side and there is a clear difference between the right side and the middle. This is only getting 2-stars because my wife says it supports her back better than our previous mattress, otherwise it would be 1-start.

The first week was, wow this is nice. The the second week starts, both my wife and I start waking up with pain on our back. The the third week feels like the support went away! We are discussing the return option, it's just not as good as it first feel

We upgraded to a split king Purple mattress from a foam double. We are both taller people, and it was time to not have our feet hanging off the bed. Plus, it's hard to starfish with two people in a double. I love how much room our new bed has, but that would be the same regardless of brand. The grid is noticeable, but not obtrusive - if I'm not feeling for it with my fingertips, I really don't notice it. I've been sleeping better on the Purple mattress - certainly cooler, and more comfortable. I must be still adjusting though, because all last week I woke up feeling exhausted. My partner says he sleeps well, but wakes up with pain in his lower back. I believe this is an ongoing issue with the last mattress as well. It took him a bit longer to adjust to the Purple mattress, and he wasn't a fan at first. He did say that sleeping on his stomach is much better now as he doesn't sink as far into the bed. Personally, I'd recommend people give this mattress a try, but find one at a store they can check out in person first. I am hopeful that as my body adjusts and the mattress gets "broken in," things will only get better.

We bought a cali-king bed a few months back, after years of lower-back pain and discomfort. To be candid and honest, the Purple mattress did take some time to get used to - especially for my wife. But once we became accustomed to the very unique feel of the top-layer, we have found the support to be unmatched. Shoulders and hips sink down without backs and necks being pulled out of alignment. The depth of sleep and quality of rest that we're getting every night is definitely much better than with our old mattress (which was a very high-quality, name-brand spring-mattress). We're very happy with the Purple bed, and miss it every time we sleep at a hotel. I also purchased a lower-back cushion for my work chair, which is wonderful. It adapts perfectly to the shape of my back, and gives excellent support through long hours of work. It could be a little bit larger for my preference, but it is excellent for what it is.

Best mattress I have ever slept on , and the purple staff is by far the best I have ever dealt with , professional and friendly they go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied can't say enough good things about Purple wish I'd bought one years ago NO more pressure points! Just comfort
