We absolutely love the original mattress, we now have three! I order the purple 4 not realizing it was the hardest one, let's say they weren't lying! I called in asked for an exchange and got it. No issues no complaints and had the other donated to a charity of my choice.

The mattress is very good and has helped my back immensely. My one criticism would be that it is cold. My husband and I both have a hard time getting warm when we go to bed initially requiring a blanket between us and the mattress. Once we get the bed warm, it's not a problem the rest of the night.

I did not buy the mattress believing that all my back pain would magically go away but i was hopeful for at least a little reduction. The mattress was firmer than anticipated even with stretchy sheets. This has made it harder to sleep on my side in the shoulder area. However, with the purple technology my hips don't hurt after hours of sleeping on my side. So my mixed review is that the mattress has made some things better, other things a little harder, and I still can't sleep on my back. I will be keeping it though just for the sake of reduction in side sleeping hip pain. The shoulder position thing I will figure out.

It is taking some time to get used to this mattress. But each day seems to be better. For our weight, it seems to be more on the firm side, but could still be due to the adjustment period. My hips are not nearly as stiff as they have been, so thats a plus.

I liked it at first but after that my lower back started bothering me again. I am a faithful stomach sleeper and it doesn't support the weight of my hips vs my stomach so my lower back feels the presser caused from my upper body. I have the platform base, which I love the height and extra space I get underneath the bed, thinking it would perverse the matteress but it's doesn't feel as comfortable as the first week we had it.

I knew it would take some time to adjust. But now I'm going on 4 months and my back and hip still hurts just as much. I now have to keep making payments on this mattress that doesn't really help I wish it was a lot thicker I just feel the base of the bed frame through the mattress and I'm still just as slow if not slower at getting up out of bed. I sure wish your company helped out with these problems

Going to bed early is a treat because this mattress is so comfortable! I'm a side sleeper and my shoulders used to fall asleep but not with our new Purple mattress. My husband is a "hot sleeper" but this mattress keeps him cool all night. Totally happy!

I placed an order on May 24th. Order is shipping June 7th & should be delivered by the 11th. I had emailed Onpurple support with a delivery request after I placed my order on May 24th. I received an email reply on June 3rd which was a bit long for their reply but my request was handled very well. I should add the rep, Kyle, followed up the email reply with a personal phone call. I understand after their very successful Kickstarter campaign they are extremely busy so i didnt mind the long reply time. Kyle's call was unexpected as you dont normally see this type of personal attention from an internet company. Kyle was very polite & professional & delivered a warm follow up call! Thank you Kyle. I havent received the bed yet so I cant speak to the quality or comfort of the bed but a friend has one & they are extremely happy with it. I rarely write reviews either positive or negative but their above & beyond customer support deserved it.

The Purple Mattress is a Great Leap Forward in mattress technology. Everything that the Purple ad is true. So far I've bought 3 Purple Mattresses. I replaced my far more expensive and uncomfortable Temperpedic Mattress. The Purple Mattress is simply a better product.

First night's sleep on this was GREAT! Then, the bed started breaking in and getting softer. Every morning, I wake up more tired than the previous morning. The purple grid is a fantastic idea. If only it were on a firm foam base instead of the stuff that gets really soft really fast.
