We choose the basic purple to replace our 20 year old pillowtop. It was pricey, but believed the hype. It is quite firm to sleep on, so if you are into that, this mattress is for you. One of the higher end versions might be more to our comfort liking, but the price point is ridiculous.

I guess this bed isn't for everyone and their moms but it worked out for me and my family. Everyone in my family bought one of these and never complained once. We've had it for roughly half a year to a year now. Bed hasn't picked up any weird forms. Still the same as when it arrived in front of my door step. I've also purchase the different pillows. Plush is okay but not that great in the sense that it started taking up a weird form. The purple pillow is just a tad bit to low for me but good posture i suppose. I'm so glad they came out with the new Harmony pillow because this is just the right height for me. Super comfortable and my head just sinks into this thing. Haven't had a cramp yet since it arrived. Hopefully all goes well in the next few months. Overall I suggest everyone try it for a while if you don't like it they do have the 100 sleep nights thing.

I love this bed and would give it five stars if it weren't for what seems to be an impression that I am making where I lay on it. I will have to wait and see how resilient the foam is. My back has not felt this good when I wake up since I was a young man. I love the feel and don't have to move as much as I did during the night. My wife loves it too.

I purchased both a Purple and a Puffy mattress at the same time as I needed to replace multiple older mattresses in the home. I was leaning towards just getting the Puffy mattress because it was considerably less expensive but I was intrigued by the Purple technology and the engineer in me could not pass up the opportunity to give it a try even at the higher cost. In the end, the Purple mattress was the hands down winner in terms of overall comfort when compared to the Puffy. We found the forgiving firmness of the Purple mattress is perfectly suited for a total in bed experience. We like the Puffy, but prefer the Purple. So much so that we are willing to wait to save up to replace the balance of the mattresses in the house with Purple.

My son loved it, but me? Not so much. My hips sank into it noticeably more than the rest of me, so it caused stress on my lower back. I am in my 50's, and so I think I am getting too old, whereas, my son is in his 20's (I can't sleep on my stomach, anymore, like he can), and I expect that he will be buying one, when he moves out. I live in a small town, and for the return, I donated the mattress to a local church. Purple promptly refunded the purchase price. I'm sorry that it didn't work out, but I am glad that I tried it.

I considered using the money as down for a big mattress store, however the 100 night trial is what made the wife and I decide to give it a go. Our old mattress wasn't memory foam of any type, we had been wanting to try one. So basically if your considering it just do it, helped with my back pain and you don't wake your partner when getting up. The frame they sell is so minimal as well I love it! Straight metal frame sits high which I detest low laying beds like a noble to peasants. All in all just Shia LaBeouf it.

I suffer from severe neck issues (car accident injury). I get frequent headaches, need adjusted monthly by a chiropractor, pop Excedrin like they're M&M's... until I got the purple mattress & pillow. My fiance & I have been sleeping on this bed for about 1 month now and I have had significantly less pain, headaches and soreness in my neck & back. My fiance agrees, he also feels so much better. At my recent chiropractic visit, the doc said wow, your neck isn't too bad today (which is HUGE). We actually look forward to getting into bed every night because its so comfortable. The top of the bed isn't that weird to us & it took all of one night to get used to it. We have the pillows. mattress cover & sheets from purple and we love them. I'd recommend this bed to anyone, particularly folks who are athletic or exercise often (I feel sooo much better each morning after sleeping on this thing!). Save yourself the trouble of not sleeping well and spend the money on this mattress. It's the best investment I've made in a long time. Their financing options make it very easy to afford it, and ordering is very easy. The mattress itself is very comfortable overall, especially if you're a hot sleeper. 10/10 would buy again. Worth every penny.

I used to sleep on a tempurpedic. I would sleep just fine, no pain, no trouble all good. With this purple mattress I cannot sleep comfortably at all. My mid back sinks in and this causes imense pain. There is no support whatsoever. I used to sleep without a pillow on my back, but thats impossible with this bed it causes neck pain. I tried to give it a try with the purple sheets, but after almost 6 months nothing feels good. Wish I could return it at this time but 100 nights is up. 100 nights was definately not long enough to fully get a good feel for the bed.

It slept extremely cool and I loved that. I couldn't sleep on my side because it was too firm and it hurt my hips. And i need something that conforms to my body shape to support it and I didn't feel like I got that from this mattress. It wasn't uncomfortable but also wasn't comfortable and i couldn't get to sleep in it. I have since returned it but the customer service was amazing.
