I could not be more pleased with my transition to the Purple Mattress! I have slept on a tradition spring mattress my entire life, but I had recent experiences with other styles on vacations that led me to think outside that box. I'm so glad I did! Recommending Purple to friends and family.

One word: blissful! I had been searching/comparing many mattresses When I finally decided to give the Original Purple Mattress a try. Honestly, I was nervous about purchasing something like a mattress off line, but have been very pleased with the quality and comfort of this bed. I wake up refreshed and without pain in my back like I used to prior to this mattress. Thank you so much for making a quality Utah, USA product, Purple!!

So customer service is huge to me. And in this day and age I feel like no one takes pride and ownership in their work. I had my original mattress for two years then I noticed a slight defect in it and I emailed the company and instantly got a reply. I was shocked and it was from a real person. We talked for a few minutes and I realized the issue was covered by their warranty and without anymore questions and what seemed like a short days my new mattress was at my door step replaced free of cost. I was so amazed that this company kept their word ! I tell everyone I know to buy a purple. The mattress is fantastic AND the warranty and customer service is top notch.

Purple mattress is the right balance of soft and firm that you wouldn't surprisingly expect from a boxed mattress brand but it delivers beyond that! Once getting the mattress it was super easy to set up. Just cut the plastic and it inflates right before your eyes. I recommend a bed platform with slates 3" apart one another to allow for the most air flow the pass through the mattress. The purple grid is probably the best thing since sliced bread because it optimises the air flow between the mattress making it comfortable to sleep in during those hot nyc nights. The foam layers under the grid def add that support a cushy mattress offers but with out the sweaty sleepless nights.

If you are considering the Purple, just go ahead and get it. I did lots of research and comparisons thanks to Sleepopolis .com. You will rest easy knowing that you purchased a polymer bed that is 'engineered' for sleep, instead of different colored foam, stacked together as shown on the website (he cuts open & shows the different bed-in-a-box/bags). Funny to you or not, the marketing videos about side sleeping and back sleeping and the supportive data points are spot on. Don't believe me? The egg test doesn't lie and your spine really does remain as close to perfect as possible. This took away all back pain, hip pain, and neck pain I was experiencing, immediately. They warn you it takes time to adjust to the mattress....it is negligent. No time at all. All around A+ Mattress. You will not believe it!! ZZzzz... @purple Please make in a full size for people with smaller sq.ft. rooms in city areas.

I like the mattress and the pillow. Its perfect for sleeping on my side as I do. The pillow is the right height to keep my back straight and it doesn't change all night as others do, even the My Pillow, which I also have. My only complaint is that the mattress already has a low spot on both sides where my wife and I sleep. If we want to lay in the middle it feels like we are rolling uphill to get there. Our other mattresses did that too. I guess I will just have to get used to it.

So I wanted to wait at least 30 days before giving this review.. but all I can say is WOW!! This mattress is the best mattress I have slept on ever! I have no back pain..and now I get the best sleep period!! Thank you Purple for creating such a great mattress. Remember to buy the frame and sheets! It's the only way to go!!

We have had a Tempurpedic since day one or maybe it was like day 40 when they first came out, had to return because it failed in the 9th year, big sag=bad, bad, bad. But they were good and because our was the first model they replaced with a Supreme Luxe Cloud something or other. Have to say it was much hotter than our original and way thicker, which we could not understand. It was supposedly "cooler", NOT. So after having to buy new sheets and bedspread etc. etc. etc. it ended up about 40 % of the cost of our new Purple California King, thank you for letting us know you finally made a bed to fit our bedroom set. So we waited a long time but it was so worth the wait. Not so thick, but our stretchy sheets (we learned the 1st time) fit just fine and holy smoke it is so much more comfortable, softer but not too soft, your body still adjusts, way, way cooler, sits lower so much easier to get into and out of at night and way easier to change the linens since the sheets although stretchy were still too small and difficult to put on the bottom sheet, and one of the best parts not so doggone hard to roll over, which is an issue if you are a bit on the chubby or "robust" side, can't deny it, and last, I have noticed or rather not noticed hubby getting in and out of bed. So, to make a long story short....heaven all rolled up in a purple bag with the great squishy purple hand things and a great padded seat cushion...which, of course, I GET cause I discovered this baby and that is my reward...that is besides a great nights sleep, the best ever and affordable, since this is our Christmas gift to us. So take it from former Sealy, Stearns and Foster, and Tempurpedic mattress owners, you will not regret it and we are hoping it is our last bed. Over 65 so that is pretty much a given, so thanks PURPLE we love, love, love our new heavenly bed!!!! Merry Christmas! WAS Sleepless in Seattle. Please don't use my name but feel free to post.

If you need a mattress, this is a solid choice. If you have a good one already, however, I would not recommend this. I had a very expensive memory foam mattress before; it seemed to be forming ridges so I purchased a Purple mattress to replace it. Of course, once I took the sheets off and hauled the old mattress downstairs, I realized that the ridges were just protective material bunching up, something that is easy enough to fix. Regardless, I kept the purple mattress and it seems to be as comfortable, perhaps a little more so, but the change is not miraculous. So, given that it was less than half the cost of the previous mattress, including shipping, it's pretty good. But I cannot say that my sleep is any better since what I had already was pretty good also. Also, given that I had to get rid of the old mattress, selling it for next to nothing, I cannot say that I am particularly thrilled with my decision to go with Purple. The 100-day trial is not a realistic proposition since it implies that one has room to store the old mattress in the meantime. Frankly, I kind of would like my money back but then I'd have no mattress.

The first night sleeping on the King sized Purple was like sleeping on a cloud surrounded by Unicorns with money falling from the sky! Just something about it that makes every ache and pain feel better. We also found that our packaging was damaged and the extra items that are shipped with the bed were missing. I submitted a support ticket and Amanda B. responded right away and was able to send the missing items out asap. I enjoy how the company has a sort of quirky and silly way of doing business which is awesome and fun, and Amanda B. is a perfect example of what a customer service rep should be. Awesome job Purple for having a great business ethic and hiring reps like Amanda B.
