Well..it has taken me a while to adapt to the mattress, I still feel that it is a little hard , not soft like I was hoping, maybe the purple 3 and purple 4 are softer, but the Original is not for sure. I must say that I do feel how icreates the shape around my body like all the videos. The videos was a great job from you guys, that was the reason why I decided to buy your mattress instead of another one. If you could send me a pillow as a sample I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I suffer from chronic back pain in my lower back. I have felt a HUGE difference between the two mattresses. I still hurt, as that pain will never go away, however it is a lot less than what it used to be. My kids love it too. I may have to buy them their own. They won't leave mine alone. Lol. Thank you for coming out with an OUTSTANDING mattress at an affordable price.

We are enjoying our Purple mattress and sleeping better than we have in a LONG time. It's a bit firmer than I had anticipated, and sleeping on my left side causes pain in my left hip, which I had hoped would be alleviated with the support offered by Purple. We still like the mattress and are happy with our purchase.

Hadn't slept through the night in years. Literally. My back has been fused from C7 down to L2 since I was 16 yrs old. I hadn't slept a good night since. Was always waking up repeatedly throughout the night with shooting pains from my hips and lower back. My first night on my new Purple and the only thing that woke me was needing to go to the bathroom!!! I was so excited! We now have one for my mother's room for when she comes to visit. She agrees that there is nothing better. Happy wife, happy Mother-in-law.... what more could a husband ask for? Haha!!!

Great for my hip when sleeping on my side, almost no pressure at all! The mattress has also very low movement for couples almost never felt my husband get out of bed and I am a very light sleeper. I am lightweight so when sleeping on my back and stomach though I would have some lower back pain. Very interesting and soft feel of the mattres.

A good mattress is one that you don't ever have to think about, and don't they always say that good design is 99% invisible? The truth that most mattress companies don't like to talk about is that just about any mattress will do. Good sleep is determined by many factors, but funnily enough what you're sleeping on isn't a very big one. Back problems? also not strongly correlated with mattress quality, but rather more closely with what you do while you're awake in terms of lifestyle, such as lifting heavy things improperly all day, bending over often, or being overweight. Good sleep mostly comes down to having a consistent sleep schedule, not eating too close to bed time, cooling the body off, and reducing exposure to bright light sources. I like to read a book under dim lights before I go to bed and this helps fatigue my eyes without straining them, making it especially easy to fall asleep within 20 minutes of my head hitting the pillow. Some vigorous exercise a couple hours earlier also helps fatigue my whole body into begging for some of that good ol' shut eye. With these tools in hand, I could simply lay on a yoga mat and get good sleep. A full mattress is a luxury. It's something special to delight yourself in during those final moments before drifting away, and then begrudgingly lurch yourself out of in the morning. It's something of a double edged sword in that respect. It's almost too good to want to leave. It's relatively easy to motivate yourself off of a yoga mat or a sleeping bag in the morning, but a mattress? Better set up some back up alarms just in case. But as I mentioned, more or less any mattress can achieve this. Even if you feel stiff or strained in some way, the sheer softness and warmth is enough to persuade you not to rise. Springs, feathers, foam, lattices, it's all variations on the simplest of themes, something soft to lie in. As long as it's not too bent out of shape or poking you in some odd way it'll probably do. The Purple Mattress has fulfilled this role in the same manner that just about any other mattress I've lied in has, which is to say, thoroughly sufficient. It hasn't improved my sleep (and I knew it wouldn't), but it also hasn't made it any worse (I can make that happen on my own, thank you very much). Though I may sound flippant and dismissive towards whatever design and engineering went into producing and distributing this mattress, (I'm pretty sure the whole mattress business is all about the marketing at this point anyway) I nonetheless offer my heartiest gratitude for the enduring adequacy I have hitherto experienced.

Bought the mattress for my done about one month ago. I am now buying myself one as well. Very comfortable and my son loves it. His back was always bothering him with his previous mattress, now his pain is much better. He also has a purple pillow and likes it as well.

I've bought 3 queen size beds. One for my dad one for my girlfriend and the most recent one for my mother my most recent order number is N813489. I got the complementary sheets on the order for my girlfriend in December and hated them never used them bc when I put them on they were too thin so I put them in the basement. I recently bought my mom one and got the pillow for her and she loves it. Since it was my 3rd order I thought I would contact them and see if they would exchange the sheets for the pillow. I was told NOPE. Anyway for a 3 time customer one would think they would have no issue with the exchange. Thanks David Ferriot

Ive only had the mattress for about a month now, but it is amazing! I was a little skeptical and worried when I purchased it, but was pleasantly surprised when I slept on it for the first time. I haven't had any issues adjusting to it and it truly has made a difference. I will definitely buy another purple in the future and I recommend it to anyone in the market for a new mattress.

People need to give their body a chance to adjust to this mattress. I went from a very old very uncomfortable mattress with a memory foam/gel hybrid topper. It took a good 2 weeks for my body to really appreciate the technology Purple has developed. I no longer wake up hot or have the aches and pains to rub out when I wake up. It's not too hard like other reviews have said and I think Purple's 100 night guarantee will give you the time to figure it out yourself. Their customer service is amazing so anyone actually complaining about them really hasn't tried to even send them an email. This mattress And company are great!!
