We were a bit outside of our comfort zone in ordering a mattress online. A week befor we had shopped in a national retail store and had found a few mattresses from the major brands that felt pretty good. But as you know, lying on them in the show room is so very different than actually sleeping on it in your own home. The cost of their mattresses caused a bit of sticker shock. Afterwards, we felt that it was worth trying so we took Purple at their word with the 100 night trial, and ordered. We felt that we had nothing to lose. It arrived a few weeks later, and to date we have no regrets and feel really good about giving Purple a try. It is as comfortable as everyone says, and it feels so different than everything else we had experienced. In the end we got a wonderful mattress for something like 1/2 what we were looking at paying for one of the main brand's offerings.

I purchased a queen mattress for my son, a step up from his full-size mattress. I appreciated the simplicity when navigating the Purple website. We also purchased the base with the wooden legs and covering, in grey. We bundled the mattress with sheets, pillow and mattress protector. It all arrived within a few days of each other. It was quite easy to put the base together, they even supplied the tools to do it. Mattress was compressed in plastic and expanded quickly upon opening. My son is a stomach/side sleeper and he reports that he's sleeping very comfortable and cool! Very happy with the entire experience and would highly recommend Purple to all my friends/family.

My husband has awful night sweats and often soaks the bed at night - which is absolutely delightful as you might imagine. So when the time came to buy a new mattress I was looking for something that was cooling/temperature neutral. After comparing this mattress and some other brands (google independent mattress reviews), I decided to give Purple a try. At first, I was a skeptic. A mattress is a huge investment with huge implications for our sleep and general quality of life - and I'd never heard of the tech that powers these mattresses. But let me tell you ... so good. I used to enforce a strict barrier during sleep time to keep my hot and sweaty hubby away from me, but we've been spooning like there's no tomorrow since getting this mattress and no over heating! The mattress takes the heat away from us so that we can love on each other comfortably. We also bought moisture wicking sheets to make sure that we'd sleep comfortably. The mattress is softer than I thought it would be, though - which I worried would be a problem. But, turns out, it conforms to our every curve and is super comfy. We've been sleeping great. The only cons are that it's so soft that it verges on being hard to escape. Like you have to make a real effort to roll out of this bed. And it weighs a ton. You'll definitely need another set of hands to get it on your bed frame.

We now have the bed, the power base, and the sheets. We ordered the pillows a little late, but those should arrive here in a couple days finally. We started with the bed first, and it really is just simply amazing. Like they say, there is a small adjustment period, but even ours went from great, to amazing. We later took them up on their 500 off the power base. Best. Decision. Ever. Period. The power base takes it to a whole new level. Words can't do it justice. The ability to customize how you are resting, watching tv, with your legs elevated, or your head elevated is just awesome. When you do eventually put the bed to just flat, it'll seem like there's something wrong with your bed. I am not looking forward to traveling anymore or staying the night with family. Just the thought of sleeping on a normal bed makes me cringe now. We sleep almost always with the anti-snore position, which somehow magically does work. I wasn't a heavy snorer however since getting the new bed the snore position seems to be most comfortable for normal sleeping. Thank you so much for creating this revolutionary product for sleeping. It (for us) is a game changer and some of the best money ever spent.

We got the mattress to help with my husband's back. I would wake up with a stiff back most mornings on our old mattress and he has a bad back. My husband liked the purple at first but now his back bothers him more than ever. I still wake up with a stiff back every morning and I can't really get comfortable all night on this mattress. I'm hoping something will change in the next few weeks but it's been a month and it hasn't been a great experience so far.

I have stopped waking up with back pain and leg pains. I finally sleep through the night and not waking up every 30 minutes. Also I don't sweat anymore at night it's really cooling. Both mattress and pillows are great investment. already had one friend who stayed overnight who bought already a mattress right after me and I have another friend waiting for Christmas to come around for her to buy her the pillows so her head won't sweat. I definitely buy another mattress from purple mattress.

The purple bed took a few weeks to get used to but now we love it!!! It is much firmer when you initially sit or lay on it but give it time and your back will love it! I think it is a little less comfortable than my old bed when I sleep on my stomach but otherwise much better. No more back pain and sleepless nights. It seems cooler too! I am super in love with the pillow!!! Game changer!!! Gift everyone you know a pillow!

Generally very positive. It did however take some time to arrive but given a choice now I'd never return it no matter how long it took.When you get a mattress like this it feels like a celebration . You want to make your bedroom a place of peace and tranquility where you can rejuvenate!

Yes, the Purple mattress is extremely comfortable and provides great support where you need it (especially if you suffer from aches and pains) , however the ridiculously heavy weight you have to lift (and only at the corners!) when simply changing the sheets will send you to the doctor with back pain!! I'm sure there is another great mattress out there that is just as comfortable, but does not cause pain to change the sheets. I'm glad our master bedroom is on the main floor because I swear the weight of this thing (which is at least 350 lbs for the king) would cause it to fall through the floor! I'm glad, at least, that this mattress doesn't need to be flipped and rotated like most "normal" mattresses because you would need an ARMY of very strong people to do that!

I've had the hardest time sleeping or being comfortable in bed. I'd wake up many time through the night, felt impossible to fall asleep, flip flop around all night and wake up sore. Literally my husband and I would sleep on the couch because our bed was so bad. My husband got us this bed for v day and I literally didnt know it was possible to sleep so well. As soon as I climb in bed however I lay I'm comfortable. I don't have to flip flop around to 'get comfortable ' best decision we have ever made was to buy this mattress.
