I Love this bed!!! It's hard to describe it but like others say it's soft and firm at the same time. I can't resist jumping in bed every time I walk past it. I had back pain due to an old bed and struggled to find a bed that is firm but soft enough to want to sleep in it. A friend told me about Purple and we got it about a month ago. My back feels great and the only problem I have is that my kids jump into bed at night because they want a Purple bed also! I got the Original Purple bed, The Sheets and the Pillow. GET THIS BED... You will not be disappointed!!

So I am a 30 year old male who's old bed was causing lower back pain and shoulder pain. It was getting pretty bad. So I kept seeing the Purple commercials on YouTube and thought I'd try it. At first the pains were gone, but I felt funny waking up. Almost sore. But after two weeks my body has adjusted and I am having amazing sleep again.

I had a discectomy in April of this year. Additionally, I have two more disks waiting to blow out which means hardware in my back in the future. I decided that this mattress would be a smart investment. I mean it just made sense for proper body alignment while sleeping. I am a hard sleeper but found myself waking up and turning at least 6-10 times a night with my old mattress. Since I received the Purple mattress I have slept right on through the night and wake up feeling refreshed and ready to attack the day! No more feeling 90 years old when getting out of bed \O/! Further my husband no longer sleeps until noon on his days off! The seat cushion is awesome as well no pain when I stand from sitting at my computer! Thank you Purple peoples for improving the quality of life for us! The video was awesome too - gotta love a company that isn't afraid to be funny & throw in the shock factor to boot.

We went through 3 different mattresses in 2 years, all of which killed my lower back. Then we saw the ad for the Purple Mattress and decided to give it a try. After using for a few weeks, I no longer wake up and have to get up because of back pain. Thank you Purple!

When I told my wife that I got us a new mattress she was not thrilled. Her only request was it be king sized, so I quickly changed the order and got a new frame. Immediately, she was excited about buying new sheets and pillow cases and all. I asked her if she was excited for the new bed and told her about the egg video (that's what sold me). She was less than impressed. She didn't think there's was anything wrong with our old bed. That thing was killing my back, though, and after I mentioned it, she started seeing how bad our bed was. The day our new purple mattress came, I built the new frame and got the mattress placed, we made the bed together. Finally it came time to lay down. She still want convinced, looking for reasons to quell my enthusiasm. She's good at putting me in my place. The longer we laid in the bed, I could see her expression change. She says, "get up once". So I did. "I can't feel you get off the bed. Like at all." With our old mattress she felt every slight motion I made. I sleep like an absolute baby the first night. The next morning my wife rolls over and says, "I love this bed. This is the best bed ever. I never want to get out of it." Just like that, she was won over. Not 100 days, not 30 days. 8 hours. That's it. I seriously haven't ever been in a bed more comfortable. That includes Marriott beds, which were my gold standard previously. If my wife is convinced by this bed, it's seriously good. She doesn't give that high of praise so easily.

I had a memory foam bed, not even 2 years old. I started to get BAD neck and (if I slept on my back) lower back pain. So I did a little digging around and decided to try out the purple bed. It came within reasonable time frame. But I got the king and its HEAVY. Its rolled up, tightly. So I dragged it into my room and rolled it up on my bed and then used the tools to unravel it. First nights sleep and I was able to sleep on my back! For the first time in almost 2 years. I sleep so even. I've never had a bed that is so.. firm AND soft at the same time. Its like sleeping on top of water but no dipping down. I am still on the year trial thing. I've had it for about a month now, maybe a little longer. I can't see me not keeping this. 5 stars.

How have I managed to get through life thus far without having this mattress?!? I LOVE going to bed. LOVE it. Not to mention that I live in a very hot climate and instead of laying down in the self-shaped indention of my previous mattress, hoping I don't wake up a sweaty mess, I get to sleep cool and comfortable all night long! I crow my praises of this thing to anyone who says anything about sleeping. Or laying down. Or waking up in the morning. Or being awake and alive. Thank you from my feet to my sleep-matted head!

Let me start off with I love our new mattress. I sleep incredibly and have no aches and pains. I love love love the mattress. That being said, the customer service and notifications leave a lot to be desired. We received our mattress shortly after ordering it. However, we did not receive the frame we ordered with it and had to call customer service to be told the frame was held up in customs. They had no idea as to when we would receive it and then all of the sudden, it arrived; with no communication from the company. I understand that they had more demand than they were expecting and these things happen, I just wish they communicated the current status more often or gave customers a way to check the status of their orders.

This is the second Purple mattress that my wife and I have bought. The first one is more of the purple material as opposed to this one that has more memory foam on top. Our first mattress is absolutely amazing, it's nice and cool and feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. This one you can tell there's memory foam and it doesn't cool you off nearly as much as the older one; I don't wake up feeling as refreshed with this one as I do with the older mattress. That is why I give this a 3.

We bought our first (level 3) Purple mattress for our daughter who has disabilities, one being severe chemical sensitivity. We had tried various foam and other materials mattresses, looking especially for those that mentioned low off-gassing. We have left mattresses in the garage off-gassing for months, some never lost all their chemical smells. The Purple mattress was the only one that was usable within 2 weeks! So besides being the most comfortable mattress we could find, it was the least chemically offensive. We bought another with same results and the comfort of it is amazing, no 'hard spots' on the hip or shoulder like other mattresses. I also bought the frame with the 2nd one and I like that too - lots of storage space under the bed. The second bed came with a free pillow. That was so good that we ordered 2 more of those too. This is the mattress to get!
