When I ordered the mattress I was so excited and when it came it was like Christmas. I had such high hopes that each night I tried convincing myself I will eventually love it. We tried to adjust to the mattress but unfortunately just gives us back pain. Also our fault we kept forgetting to submit for a return and missed our window. I tried returning it right away but was told to allow 20 days for adjusting. So after that I meant to submit a return but my life got crazy and I lost track of time which is my own fault. Most we have ever spent on a mattress and so disappointing. I used to have a cheap mattress which my husband wasn't a big fan of so we decided to splurge. He's a firefighter and I'm a nurse we work long hours and could use good sleep. However unfortunately now we both have back pain after sleeping on the mattress when on the cheap mattress I never had any pain. I'm sure it's great for some but it's been a huge waste of money for us. So don't be like us if you buy it set reminders for return dates just in case. I will probably buy a topper somewhere else and see if that helps.

I was surprised excited to get this mattress. Their marketing team is one of the best. When I first got the mattress I was really impressed. It was fun to push in the mattress with your hand and watch how quickly it responded. However after using it for a few weeks I swear it felt firmer and firmer. To the point where my arms would go numb from sleeping on it. I would wake up 2-3 times a night to adjust. I was expecting it to have more give. However it really only seems to give to smaller pressure points and not all of them. Hence why the eggs don't break. I have a feeling that it wouldn't pass that test if they used larger eggs. I don't think the necessary sized egg exists.. ostrich eggs?? But none the less I felt down. I did like the fact that is slept cooler.. but honestly that was the only thing I liked. It also wasn't dramatically cooler. So if you really like a firm mattress with a little bit of unique give and one that sleeps a little bit cooler than normal this may actually be good for you. However I can't recommend this mattress at all. I fall asleep on my side and wake up on my stomach and it did me no favors. I think perhaps it may be best for back sleepers.

I have consistently been able to sleep at least an extra hour per night on the weekends due to the increased comfort of the Purple mattress. The firmness of the mattress did begin to decrease after about three months but it was as good as new after turning it.

I am a big guy, have been for most of my life. I have never been able to sleep on my side. My shoulder would hurt after a few minutes, not to mention my arm underneath. With this bed I can sleep on my side all night without any pain. The first night I woke up in the exact same place I fell asleep in. People literally ask me if I get commission on these beds based on how often I recommend them. You cannot go wrong with this bed. Perfect!

keeps me cool., the sheets are great (glad to have gotten them for free!). I wish the gel-matrix top of the mattress was just a bit deeper, but still very great. The warranty is somewhat nuanced. I took pictures to demonstrate that I handled their mattress correctly. I wish they made it easier to demonstrate compliance.

Apparently someone is reading these reviews. 30 minutes after posting my one-star review I gat a call from the shipper asking if they could deliver it tonight. My review of the user experience still stands, but I will post a review of the mattress itself, in fairness. It is very comfortable, and it feels a bit like you're floating. I believe I'm going to really like it. Purple still needs to improve their communication, both with the customer and with the shipper. In particular they should send emails confirming the delivery times and that the mattress has actually been delivered.

I am very pleased with this mattress since I have a severe injury to my spine this is comfortable. When I am awake very pleased with the results. It all started with the cushion for the passenger seat bottom and back. The road vibration is minimized to a point that I enjoy riding in the car again.

i had a tuft & needle mattress that needed to be replaced and purple came highly recommended by multiple people. i have a purple seat cushion and like the feel of the grid so i went ahead and ordered the mattress based on all the glowing reviews. it's kinda wild how comfortable this mattress is! that first flop onto it after getting it set up had me going "oh wow". i'm a hot sleeper who has back issues and i now wake up feeling cooler and without an aching back. very happy with my purchase!

I have never bought a brand new bed. I wanted a memory foam mattress for a long time, heard reviews, talked to some owners, changed my mind. I chose the purple mattress because of the pressure point relief advertisement. I was not disappointed. I fall asleep faster and have a deeper quality of sleep. I hope this lasts for a long time.

That is right, my old mattress was like sleeping in a ditch, trying to roll over, or, "out-of-the-ditch" was very difficult. My old mattress produced many back aches. Those days are long gone now, because of the purple mattress. It is truly unbelievable! Here are 2 important experiences we have had. This mattress does not produce a ditch. This mattress somehow is self cooling. I'm a fatboy, and I do not get hot laying on this mattress. I find it very difficult to describe how this mattress feels. Its nothing like any mattress we have had. It's like the mattress is actively working with the shape and form of your body. There is zero resistance when rolling over or getting out of bed. Whatever position you lie in, the mattress is instantly adjusting to your body. It is sorta like jello with a million holes in it, firm, contouring, and I never have felt the mattress move when the wife gets in or out of the bed. I do whole heartily recommend using only a fluid barrier mattress protector sheet, the wife was going old school on me and demanded we use 3 or 4 mattress pads for added comfort and protection. That only lasted 2 nights, when I loving convinced her to try only the protection sheet. Needless to say I was right again, and those old pads are gone forever. I really look forward to bedtime now. Purple is so comfortable, supportive, cool, and consistent. It is a quality product and we are very proud of owning a top of the line mattress. We don't have much and don't want much, but our mattress makes us feel like we are pampered.
