We started with the purple 2 and found that it was a little too firm for us. However, we switched to the original purple and found that we are much more comfortable. It did take a little time to get used to since we had an awful mattress for so long, but we are really enjoying the new purple and hope that it keeps getting better.

So my husband convinced me to try this mattress I was skeptical because we have spent alot of money on various mattresses thru the years pillow top, tempura pedic and etc. But we ordered and have had several weeks and my first impression was that it was not a bed I got into and said awe this feels heavenly! But felt a little firm but I must say I have slept like a baby and my husband's constant back aches are so much better! I think everyone should give it a try! I'm really impressed and it take alot to impress me!! Thank u so much! I need my beauty sleep!!

I hyped myself up for the Purple when I saw all the videos. I ordered it and was anxious for it to come. Once it arrived it was easy to get out of the packaging. For me this bed was love at first sleep. I nearly fell asleep just testing it out. Ever since I have had nothing but comfortable nights sleeping. We got this bed to help with my husbands scoliosis, and it really has helped. Not 100%, but it's the first bed to help. Not only that, but the customer service is excellent. Even when their call volumes were through the roof they made it easy to get into touch with them. The team members were also super sweet. For side sleepers, keep in mind that your arm may fall asleep if you stay on one side. I usually move around quite a bit so it's not typically a problem. Thanks Purple Mattress!

I was very excited to try out the Purple Mattress. I at arrived quickly and was fairly easy to un-box. It is quite heavy so it helps to have a friend with you. It had a slight smell but it wasn't bad and dissipated within 24 hours. It has an interesting feel with the purple grid on top but you get used to it quickly. Unfortunately I am a bigger guy at 6ft 1in and 260lbs. I felt like I bottomed out. While laying on my back there was a lot of pressure on my lower back and butt/tail bone. There were mornings that I was waking up with lower back pain but luckily it would go away through out the morning. I think that the mattress just wasn't quite thick enough to properly handle my weight and size at only 9.5 inches thick. I did try their recommendation to try out another bed or your old bed after 30 days and I woke with no back pain. That was when I decided the Purple wasn't right for me. The cover is very soft and the mattress kept me cool and I never got hot. I am giving it three stars instead of two because I know my size is not their fault. Fortunately I am able to donate the mattress to a friend. It is a big investment so I am very glad to have had the 100 Night trail period to try out the mattress. They have been helpful and answered all of my questions very quickly.

This was the worst purchase ever. I got the purple plus in October for my new place and started sleeping on it in February (so outside the 100day return window, my fault). Since February I've been having constant low back pain. It got so sever I had to take time off work. I spent a weekend at my parents' where I slept on a regular spring mattress and my back pain went away, I came back home and the pain came back. It's at its worst in the mornings, but sometimes it starts shortly after I go to bed. I 100% regret purchasing this mattress, it was a huge mistake and now I need to figure out how to get ride of it and get any other mattress that wouldn't cause so much pain. I hate going to bed and sometimes just prefer to sleep on the couch to avoid excessive back pain.

So, initially and for the first year and a half we loved our matress like everyone else. Getting to the 2nd year we noticed the center of the bed started to sink in. Mind you we changed the base and nothing changed. Not sure why it began to sink. Maybe the jelly isn't meant to last long enough. I was hoping to have a mattress that would last me 10 years or so not 2. Neither one of us swears excessively either so that was ruled out. I wonder, is living in a cold state that requires a furnace ruin the strength of the jelly?

I got back surgery a few years back and due to that my back is very stiff. I'd been sleeping on a terrible mattress until I ordered the original purple mattress and it's been a blessing for me. It's so good for my back whether it's on my back or my side. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone in the market

This mattress was recommended by a friend of mine. It is not working out for me and my partner. The mattress is a little harder than we expected and it can get hot. Its certainly worth the try and the purple team is excellent with customer service. The only catch is that you have to try it for 21 days. We didn't make it, ended up sleeping on the couch instead.

We've had our Purple for 2 weeks now and we are sleeping better than ever and waking with no soreness at all. You can tell by the condition of our covers in the morning that we are not tossing and turning like before either - this is by far the best bed we've ever had - thank you!
