I recently got a memory foam mattress. It was too hot. So I found Purple. I was excited that there was a lot of info suggesting that purple was a very cool mattress. While it is cooler than my memory foam, it is still way too hot. Much more than a traditional mattress. I'm not an overweight person. I'm pretty lean. I'm keeping the AC about 5 degrees cooler than normal. All that does it keep half of me freezing while the other half sweats. I'm going back to traditional mattresses. Purple is otherwise very comfortable. Although I think my icomfort memory foam is slightly more comfortable, I like that the purple bounced back quickly and the price is great.

Unlike my wife, it took me a little getting used to. I like that it bounces back like a spring mattress, but keeps the movement somewhat isolated. The part that took getting used to was the springiness of the purple layer can make it feel firm even yet not all at the same time.

I love my Purple Mattress! It cradles my body as well as supports it. No more hot spots. I have spent a small fortune on mattresses, have owned almost every kind. This is the best I have tried! My arms and hands no longer fall dead asleep and my back is well supported. Its like sleeping on a cloud! Highly recommend!

This mattress is incredible! I've had chronic back pain for years. Sleeping on a conventional mattress, sometimes I'd sleep wrong and my back would be thrown out for weeks. But on the Purple mattress, I wake up in the morning without any pains or aches. It's amazing! I also like that it doesn't transfer motion. So when I shift positions or get out of bed in the night, it doesn't disturb my wife. I'm telling all my friends they need this mattress.

Ordered my mattress. Was promised that it would ship within 3 days. It did not ship for several weeks. Every time i checked they told me a different day. Then was told i was getting a special upgrade which was actually just the same mattress with a new cover that they had switched to but they made me think i was getting something special for the long wait. Customer service was friendly but never actually answered any questions. Always felt like i was getting the run around. Didn't get my free bedding as a promotion for several weeks after the bed came. Bed is ok but certainly not worth all the trouble. Wouldn't do it again.

We have had the mattress now for 6+ months and it is great. The wife and I both sleep differently and we are both very comfortable. Our old box spring was not sufficient to support the mattress, however, so a heavy plywood reinforcement or dedicated platform also seem necessary for proper support. Once properly supported, the edges of the mattress, while not always square due to lack of structure, are still supportive. The mattress seems to suppress your partner's motion but not completely which is fine. It has enough spring back to make moving around and getting out of bed easier yet it cushions your entire body when spread out. I no longer have had my arm fall asleep when placing it under my pillow when stomach sleeping as well, as it allows my arm to sink in but properly supports my pillow and head. Overall very pleased. I just hope it sleeps like this for the next 10-20 years! Thanks Purple, looking forward to trying the pillows and other products!

I first got the purple pillow and it didn't make a Drastic difference so I gave it to my sister but then I went back to my normal pillow and realized the purple pillow felt a lot better compared to my normal pillow So my mom got me another purple pillow and it does feel a lot better sometimes I snore at night and I stopped storing It holds my head a lot better also most of the back and neck pain has gone away I have scoliosis so it doesn't completely "cure" my back pain and neck pain but it sure does help . The purple mattress is a little bit too expensive but I still try to convince my Mom to buy me one.

We really enjoy our Purple bed. My husband says he hasn't woken with a back ache since we've had it and it's been 2 months. The new bed smell was gone by the second day. The gaps between the silicon grid are weird to adjust to and it makes the bed cold so we got a thin mattress topper that fixed the problem. I think we will remove the topper in the hot summer months so help us cool off. The only real negative I have so far was the long ship time (3 weeks to get the bed and 9 weeks for the base) but I recommend the bed to others.

Previously, I had purchased a mattress that was in my budget. My fiancee told me that it was like "sleeping on a motel bed." Due to body aches and us constantly waking up in the middle of the night, I decided to buy the purple queen mattress for her birthday. 20 days since we got it, I have had vivid dreams every single night, which never happened on the old bed. This tells me I am actually getting REM sleep and I am able to be in a deep sleep. Our body aches are starting to diminish a bit but maybe to completely get rid of neck pains, we should get the purple pillows! Since sleeping on the Purple I have noticed my smartband is recording longer deep sleep cycles and higher percentages of heart rate recovery. I feel more refreshed and notice less times I wake up at night now. I don't wake up to move around due to pain or experience circulation issues anymore. My chronic back pain is much easier to manage now as well, one of the main reasons I got Purple to begin with. The firmness is enough to fully support yet soft enough to prevent circulation cut-off or soreness on shoulders or hips allowing for a more relaxing and restful sleep. The quality and amount of sleep is so much better and this IS the best purchase I have made in many years, thank Purple!
