My mom had wanted a new bed for years, but my dad hadn't wanted to spend the money. When my dad died, my mom wanted a smaller bed. After shopping around she agreed to try out a purple with power base. She says it is the best thing ever! She hasn't slept well in years because of neuropathy in both feet. But the massage feature in her new bed, along with being able to adjust the height of legs and head. Plus the super comfortable mattress, make every night heaven! Her only regret is that she gets to busy and doesn't get to bed earlier! We appreciate the price tag as well. The purple was about half the price of a similar one at the local store, with a quieter motor and more features. The one at the store would wake the next door neighbors, let alone the poor souls down stairs. Anyone downstairs from the purple can tell it is on, but it doesn't sound like a jackhammer. The lights under the edge of the bed are a nice touch too. Unfortunately they came un-hooked, and my brother had to reattach the wires. Plus they seem to stay on or go off at their own convenience. but those are minor issues when compared to great sleep! Now my mom is glad that my dad wouldn't agree to a new bed. She would have ended up spending a lot more money or gotten a regular bed, plus it would have been to large for her needs. The bed is awesome doesn't sleep hot at all and I'm naturally a hot sleeper. Supports the body at the same time feels firm and comfortable. Came from a memory foam mattress and wouldn't go back ever. The sheets are amazing breathable yet feel good against the skin the harmony pillow is amazing doesn't make my head hot I use to wake up to feeling hot and uncomfortable now I sleep all night never wake up till morning. It will take a week or two to get use to the feel of the material on top also if your body was use to sleeping wrong as in the wrong support and bad alignment, you will feel pain for a couple days but it will pass and you will thank the fact that you purchased this mattress.

Mattress, pillows, sheets, pillow cases, mattress cover and seat cushion all lived up to billing. The weight of the mattress is not to be under-estimated. Getting it on the bed is a two person job, not to mention getting it to the 2nd floor bedroom first. However, once in place, the mattress exceeded expectations. Have never been more comfortable in bed [I'm 73]. Pillow and sheets only add to the experience. My only pause in buying the base is having to get the mattress on to it, now that the mattress is unrolled. Will probably do it anyway. Moving 140 pounds around is an interesting challenge.

I have been sleeping on a mattress that was over 20 years old for almost 10 years. I had a really inconvenient mattress pad that was constantly sliding off and endless back pain. I want to let anyone know who reads this definitely give yourself a couple days, I read somewhere that it takes you a couple days to actually get used to having support. It feels amazing and feels great when you lay on it but it took me like three days to actually get good sleep and to get used to it. But 10/10 I am gonna get another one day when I need it. I have back problems and this has honestly helped me have relief and in general it's just a great purchase, and I now get pretty good sleep constantly. :)

Litterally the best sleep in many years. Suffering from disability, since 1994, finding a bed that did not cause me more pain has been a relentless and Very expensive journey. From night one, I've slept so incredibly well on my purple matress! I have been unable to stay in any particular possition for more than a couple of hours and watched TV much more than I've slept. I will preface this with I donated my mattress to charity, after determining it was for me. But, I think this bed will work for a lot of people so I'd like to share my likes and dislikes. Hopefully this helps your decision! Ordering the bed was easy. I actually jumped on the chat service to discuss which bed would be best for me. The customer service agent was nice and helpful. I ordered the Purple 2.0 with the free option of Purple bed sheets. Shipping was easy and no issues there. However, the bed came before the sheets. Which was a little annoying as the sheets I did have didn't really fit well on it. So, I kinda hope they fix that. Otherwise this process was good. Sleeping on the bed. So, I love the feel of this bed. It's very unique. Many people refer to the feel like sleeping on a gel pad. I would agree. The bed is a bit softer than expected and kinda bouncy. I tried this bed for about 3-35 days before decided to begin the return option. I'm just under 6 feet and about 280 pounds. On my back, I'm not sure another bed could beat the comfort level. However, I'm not a fan of sleeping on my back. So while it felt good, it's not my desired position. On my side, it felt good, but I felt that my hips sunk in too far and it made my shoulder and neck a little out of alignment so I would wake up with a sore upper body. I primarily fall asleep and spend a good portion of time on my side. I've had back issues in the past and as a result I sleep on my stomach a lot. This mattress was just too soft for stomach sleeping. My back bent more than what I experienced on my 6 year old cheap memory foam bed. Because of the stomach sleeping issue, that's what made me decide to return it. I would say though. A more moderately sized individual would probably really enjoy sleeping on this. I just think I'm too big for it's support level. And the Purple 2.0 is the firmest model they have. The 4.0 is considered the softest. I'd also mention that at times I felt like I was ending up in the middle of the mattress. Almost like through the night I would "roll" to the middle. Returning the mattress. This was a very easy process. The customer service agent was very friendly and helped with all my questions. Purple gives about 3-5 options for return. Have someone they choose pick it up for recycle, donate it to charity, extend your trial to see if you change your mind and another one that slips my mind right now. I chose donating it to charity. A great option. I'm glad they allow that rather than sending it to be recycled or dumped at a landfill. All I needed to do was fill out a form stating my choice of return, contact a charity, then provide a picture back to Purple of a receipt from that charity proving it had been donated. Within a few days of providing the receipt I was refunded in full! Lastly, I would like to say, this is a unique bed that may work for a lot of people. If you are willing to take a chance I would recommend trying it for sure. With a 100 percent refund guarantee, why not try it. You may love it! And I suspect a lot of people do. I tip my cap to Purple for their desire to innovate and create something new. I will continue to follow them and if I see changes to the firmness I will likely try it out in the future.
