I was a little worried about purchasing this mattress because of the price, but I really wanted to upgrade my mattress and go with a king size. I went back and forth between this one and a much less expensive brand, but in the end I went with the purple and I'm so glad that I did! It came quickly and it provides a really great nights sleep. I'm even hoping that my husband will surprise me with the purple pillow for Christmas. :)

We purchased this mattress in hopes of a better nights sleep. While the mattress is comfortable, I don't notice any better sleep vs the old inner coil. My wife however being about 100 lbs can not seem to get comfortable as she just does not "sink in". We are both side sleepers and looking for that magic feel that accommodates us both.

The mattress is really comfortable but customer service is a pain to get a hold of as the first mattress came with a tear in it it took about a month or so to get the warranty processed and new one delivered and another week for the old one to get picked up

This was a Christmas gift for my son purchased by my grandson and me, all I can say is what my son said besides thank you. He finds it very comfortable and thinks he has improved sleep quality. He is thinking of purchasing one himself in the twin size. However, I see you only make twin extra long. Make standard twin size that would fit a bed set.

I was very excited to get my new purple mattress and get it all set up on the frame i purchased from your company. However, the mattress is some what deformed, It's not even and has big indentations and on two corners and in the middle it has a big lump. I was hoping it would even out, but it's going on three weeks and its not looking any better. It feels like the material was not placed evenly on all the King mattress. I will be contacting your customer service very soon. So far not happy at all with the way it feels and looks. I hope to get it replaced.

I am writing this review after only one night on my Purple mattress... I AM IN LOVE!!! A little background on me. I am a single (mention that cause I sleep alone not for dating purposes lol) 30 y/o male, 5'8", 190 lbs (more muscle than fat) stomach sleeper. I am an Army Vet and an RN in an ER (more on that later). First, to address the picture of the Purple blade. I don't know if I was just excited and wasn't taking my time, but I got the under portion (not pictured) of the safety blade under the plastic and as I was straddling the mattress I was cutting down and between my legs, as I was going along the plastic piece broke and the blade went right into my thumb!!! :( Now, I am not blaming Purple for this. I should have been cutting away from my body and did it a little safer, but I still wanted to put that in the review so future buyers can learn from my silly mistake....and so you don't get blood on your pretty new white mattress (luckily I didn't). Anyways, the Army, working in healthcare, being a stomach sleeper, and when I was overweight (260 lbs) has put a number on my lower back. I started working out more and lost over 70 lbs and STILL had back pains. So I started doing research for a new mattress. I previously slept on a cheap no-name inner-spring mattress that was several years old. I found that what I needed was a firmer mattress that maintained my spinal alignment - enter Purple. Love at first sight (lay down). I haven't had a full night of straight sleep in years!!! I constantly have to try to lay on my back with a pillow under my thighs to take the pressure off my lower back (a position that is IMPOSSIBLE for me to sleep in) or lay on my side with a pillow between my legs; eventually going back to my stomach and waking in pain. Last night was probably the best night of sleep I have ever had!!! I will say that I am still a little achy and it is my thought that I will still need some time for my body to adjust to the mattress as my spine has been out of wack for years. Purple even stated this in its instruction paper that some people need up to 30 days to fully adjust, so I am optimistic that the pain will subside completely in that timeframe. Purple is exactly as advertised and has exceeded my expectations. The mattress cradles my body perfectly in the correct areas without a feeling of sinking, stays cool (I also sleep hot), and just feels like my spine is in perfect alignment which creates it's famous "floating" sensation. I just cannot state enough how happy I am with this mattress and I would highly recommend it for stomach sleepers. I saw Purple's other options with a taller purple grid and all the other bells and whistles, but I stayed with OG mattress as it is my interpretation that this was the firmest options they offered. Very satisfied with my selection. I hope this review was helpful. Definitely recommend doing your own research, read reviews, watch videos via YouTube with multiple people, and see what is the best option for you (and your spouse if applicable), but I definitely recommend Purple for my fellow stomach sleepers and it even feels great in the other positions. If you're considering it, go for it! You spend 1/3 of your entire life sleeping. Treat yourself!!! Oh and my dog loves it too lol

After only three nights, I loved my Purple mattress so much, I gave 'her" a name..."Penelope"! Seriously, though, I have back issues (a compressed disk and arthritis) and I feel so much less pain with the Purple mattress, just wish I hadn't waited so long to make the purchase!

So I bought the purple queen size bed and absolutely loved every sleeping second with it. It was a magical 30 days together but unfortunately my wife hated it and because she not only runs my life but also our sleeping environment I had to return big purp. Jakki handled my return and I was taken off guard when she stated donating the mattress was one of my options. The process was super easy I took the form from purple along with the mattress to a local church. While there I met an awesome pastor that told me about this young family that had recently fallen on hard times and in need of furniture. After hearing their story I left the mattress and went home to pick up some old end tables and other random living room pieces we'd been holding on to. I can't speak highly enough of purples corporate responsibility. They stand by their product and if you're not satisfied they'll refund your money. They could have left things there but instead allow you to share their product with those in need. Even thought my wife wasn't satisfied with how she slept on the bed we both can't stop telling everyone about how amazing this organization is. Keep it up guys you're awesome.

I've owned this bed for 3 years. When I first got the bed I felt like I was floating on the top of the bed. Lately It has started to sag and is causing me back pain. I have sleep apnea and the uneven sagging does not help with my breathing which causes me to wake up in the middle of the night trying to catch my breath. Not happy.

We have enjoyed our Purple Mattress now for about a month and we are not experiencing the back pain we used to. We are sleeping much more soundly. One of our sons laid on the bed and said even just a few minutes and he already felt like he could sleep peacefully and comfortably on a PURPLE!
