This summer on our two and half month RV trip, we traveled with a new purple mattress instead of our old RV mattress. What a difference! We just loved the mattress so much that when we got home in Mid August, we immediately ordered a King mattress for our home. We cannot say enough about the better sleep quality and the lack of aches and pains when we awake in the morning. Purple is simply amazing! We also traveled with two Purple seat cushions in the driver's and passenger seats. It made driving and riding so much more comfortable. We told all our friends and even showed up for a dinner party at one friend's house. After they tried the purple seat cushion, they order two for themselves that following week. On Purple is On Fleek!

Excellently made product, helped out alot with my back pains from standing at work for 12 hours a day. Mattress is decently cool but the hybrid pillows are a must have with it. Only complaint about the purple mattress is that it feels like theirs a spot in the center where it formed some what of a body marking which is odd since its only 3 weeks old but othet than that it's a great mattress.

There are tons of Pros for this mattress but likewise for me at the very least there are alot of Cons. First off I would like to say that this is just my experience and that this mattress may be perfect for you but given my existing medical issues (Bradychardia, Circulation issues, Rheumatism, Muscular disorder, Asthma, GERD, are my conditions) I am having to work very hard to make this "work" for me and that everyone I talked t through the buying experience has been more than awesome. One of the best things about the mattress is that it did not smell in the least bit when I opened. It. This is my first mattress that contains memory foam and I have been holding off on buying one because all of the mattresses (aside from this one) that I have seen stink to high heaven. This one does not smell although opening the item was a chore given the video said to use the cutter provided so that it would not cut the mattress but it did not come with one so I had to have a couple of people come to my house to help me pull it out of the sleeve and gently try to cut it out of the wrapping. This did not go well. It does tend to conform around the hip and back area really well which is both good and bad. Your torso naturally is heavier than your legs and a lot of the weight is centered around your hips but I noticed that when I lay my head seems to be "downhill". My feet are higher than my head while I am laid on my back (this is that whole torso heavier than your legs thing). So I had to use pillows to prop my head up high including the purple pillow which left my head at a funny angle almost chin to chest which really hurt my neck just to keep that strange hanging upside down feeling from coming on. As an example, imagine laying head down on a playground slide for a little while. Now, I would like to not that I am a larger guy I am 6 ft 250 lbs so this issue may not even be an issue for lighter people. Now, on that same note when your feet are now higher than your heart and you have heart issues, circulation issue, rheumatism, and muscular issues or just any of the above it may cause issues with swelling in feet or at least it did for me because your legs will not sink in and will be higher than your heart. Another issue along the same lines was the fact that stomach acid had made its way to my throat from the "downhill" style laying. The last issue was trying to get up. After about 3 hrs of trying to sleep I finally got up and went to lay on the couch which was not alot better but helped. The only issue was now having been nice and cushioned by the mattress it was very difficult for me to get up. You really have a muscular workout trying to get up and add that with my already existing arthritis and it was a task. Now, I would like to mention that a lot of these issues could be solved if you had the reclining base for the bed. I really love the people at Purple I think the mattress is absolutely great for most others I just wanted to give you my impressions that I feel may be important for people who have certain disorders or problems and I am sure alot of these problems are existent on other memory foam mattresses that are far inferior to this one. I hope this does help and if you have any questions I would just ask the sales team they are very nice. As for me I wished I had, had a place to store my old inner spring mattress and had not tossed it when I sat this one up but there was no where to put it. As for what is next, I am not sure I may try to buy a wedge to keep my torso higher and see if sleeping closer to the edge will help me get up if not I am not sure what I will do.

My wife and I have been sleeping on the Purple bed for about 30 nights. I sleep like a baby, however, my wife is not as convinced that the bed makeup is giving her much back support. She complains of her hips aching during the night and wakes to re-position herself. When she sleeps on her back she only finds back relief when she puts a pillow under her upper thighs.

My overall experience with Purple has been great, even though I AM returning my mattress. Buying it was easy, deliverey and setup was quick and easy. I can tell the construction of the mattress is high quality....however, being a side sleeper, my fiancee and I needed more sinkage. With my old spring mattress, I was having trouble with my arms falling asleep before I did, and with Purple, I had the same issue. When I would just sit straight up on the mattress , or press directly onto it, the squish felt awesome! But when laid flat, with even weight distribution, I didn't sink at all. It feels very very firm. So although this mattress is excellent for some people, probably mostly back sleepers, it wasn't the right fit for me. Good luck everybody!!

I love my purple mattress! It is so comfortable and when I fall asleep I stay asleep. No more rolling around because of aches and pains. I'm a new mom and even though my son wakes me up through the night, I still wake up rested because of my purple mattress.

Our Purple bed arrived around the 3 week mark, delivered without damage, assembled easily (set up at the foot of the bed, as instructed). It is VERY heavy, but comfortable, so far sleeping on it is 'good,' meaning better than our old, traditional mattress. Expected 'even better,' I must say.

I was really anticipating great things from this mattress. I had tried other memory foam mattresses but they all slept hot. So I was hoping for a different experience from this mattress. Unfortunately, it too slept hot. I am in the process of returning it now.

We ordered the king mattress and platform on a Tuesday and by early Friday we had both products delivered to our door. SUPER easy set up. It only took us about 30 minutes for the entire process and we immediately fell in love. We had been using a "gel memory foam" mattress that within a year had fallen apart and was almost unbearable to sleep on. This was a lifesaver. It has solved so many of the problems we were having. It sleeps cool (even in Texas heat with two people), no more falling into a crater in the center of the mattress, we wake up with no aches and pains, and there is almost no motion transfer so when one of us gets up in the middle of the night the other isn't bothered. It's easily worth the price. Seriously, buy it.

Neither of my adult children or I liked the mattress in a guest bedroom so I thought I'd replace it. Since they had both been considering a Purple for themselves I thought why not try one here. Quite honestly the old mattress is much more comfortable. I've slept on it for 3 weeks now and the purple is just too firm. I've gotten used to it but still can't relax and get comfortable. I really haven't made up my mind what I'm going to do with it yet.
