My wife loves it, she would give it a 5. Her only complaint is that it took 5 weeks for them to get it to us. She is pregnant and it has wonderful for her back and legs. For me it has not been so great. I sleep in all positions throughout the night and some don't workout so well. The bed is great for side sleeping and back sleeping, but not so good for front sleeping. If I sleep on my front I wake up with hip pain, lower back pain, and neck stiffness. I have never woke up with a headache before, but I did a few times the first week of having this bed because of the neck stiffness. It has gotten better the longer we have the bed, like they said it would, but I think it's because I'm sleeping on my front less, rather then the bed "getting softer" or my body "getting use to sleeping correctly." I would give it 2 stars, but I went with 4 because the wife always wins.

Our mattress was delivered in a timely manner even though it was a busy time of the year for retailers. Sleeping on this mattress has helped get rid of minor aches. We don't wake eachother up if one gets out of bed in the middle of the night. The only problem is you don't want to leave this bed!!! And neither do our dogs!!!

I purchased this mattress online and it came to my home in a few days. The package is heavy, so you will need a couple of people to help you move it. So, the first couple of nights it felt a little too firm and I didn't really like it, but After a few nights sleep, BOOM!! I loved it. I sleep through the night and the support is great. My wife had very bad back pain, the reason why we purchased this one, and now she doesn't complain about her back at all. It has been about a month now and the bed is still in great shape and I have no complaints. so far, I love this thing! I ordered the hybrid2.

I think the purple mattress is different than any mattress I've slept on. I've noticed an immediate difference when switching to this mattress from my old lumpy mattress. The texture is hard to describe. It's soft and firm all at the same time. The pressure point system works wonders and doesn't hurt my back nearly as much as other mattresses. My biggest complaint is side sleeping is a no go. I sleep on my back, side, and stomach. When I sleep on my side for a good period of time, I wake up with my shoulder/chest feeling pretty sore. Other than that, it's a pretty great mattress. I could actually fall asleep on my back with this mattress. I will add, DEFINITELY get the purple sheets. The sheets are amazingly soft and just perfect.

We are both getting old (ER) and we both experience bad back problems. I have had surgery twice and she is under pain management! We have found this mattress to be the solution for sleep, even with all of our back problems! Thanks be to all the scientists who enabled such a wonderful and permanent part of our lives!

...I was very excited about this purchase under the belief that it would help a side sleeper who tends to sleep hot feel more comfortable. So far it seems pretty hard & I'm not noticing much difference at all from my Seely mattress in terms of temperature (which was half the price). I'm going to give it a little while longer before I determine whether it stays or goes...

I bought the Purple (my wife has a bad back) after watching a number of independent reviews on youtube. Just two days after getting the bed my wife loves it - she feels so much better getting up in the morning. Unfortunately, much to my surprise, after two weeks I do not like it at all...I have never had back troubles and never have had any trouble sleeping on any surface (I can sleep on the floor and not be bothered). But I don't sleep well on this mattress...don't know why, but it just feels strange and I'm tossing and turning on it. We will keep it because my wife loves it, but I'm bummed that I at least am not neutral on it.

I m a woman! I set this whole thing up by myself. The king stand and the mattress. I didn't want to mess up my new mattress first thing I waited 2 days like a chump to air it out and then heaven! I'm so happy so happy this has changed my marriage... seriously we dont fight anymore about one of us moving around bumping eachother we sllllleeeep. Thank you purple.

At first it didn't bother me--it was about the same as our old bed. My husband really liked it so we didn't return it. That was a mistake. The longer I sleep on it the worse I sleep! I actually wake up in pain EVERY DAY because of this mattress. That never happened before. And it's only a 90 day garantee so it looks like not only am in pain, but I paid a lot of money for it. I've had quite a challenging experience with this company. I ordered a twin mattress and never having had a mattress with this technology shipped, I had no idea what the size would look like. Well, we got a FULL, not a twin. It was way too big and we'd already had this thing pop up. The process to exchange was insane. The bed it went on is a loft so there was no place to keep this thing. We don't have the luxury of extra rooms. Finally, the right one showed up. Do you think we could have received a pillow or credit or anything for the inconvenience? It wasn't our doing and we'd already discarded the old mattress we were replacing so my son had to sleep in a recliner for several nights. Now that we FINALLY got the full picked up (which took well over a week), things are a bit better. My son seems to like it but even with the protector and sheets, it's still pretty rough smelling and his asthma has been seriously triggered. It's not worth the hassle of returning so we'll keep it. Would I suggest others buy - probably not. Is it better than what he had? Yes. Would I buy again, definitely not. We also purchased Purple's protector and sheets. I would have liked a protector that encased the whole mattress, not just went on like a sheet. The sheets are soft, but they did NOT fit well. They're supposed to be deep pocketed. Where? It was just not the experience we hoped for.
