I've used a traditional mattress for a long time. Tried memory foam as well. So far I've had the mattress for about a month and can say I definitely feel the difference! I hope it doesn't sag like others do with time but so far it has given me the relief I was looking for. Thanks Purple!

Bought the original Purple king size. Very comfortable until it collapsed where we sleep by the 12-month mark. At 18 months we gave up and bought a Purple 2. I have never experienced back pain this consistent and intense. It's going back and I'll never buy a Purple again.

I purchased several items from Purple recently including two purple harmony pillows, purple sheets, a purple mattress, and a weighted blanket. I felt like it was time to upgrade my mattress and was excited to learn about Purples technology as I am a side sleeper and would regularly wake up with shoulder and arms pains. I unwrapped my mattress and it was immediately ready for use. The Purple mattress is extremely comfortable and I wake up in the morning without any aches or pains. I've had back pain for over 10 years and 3 days sleeping on purple helped out allot. Great firmness and support but can't recommend the pillow. It is way too low and my neck is not comfortable but that's just maybe me you're experience may be different.

I would start with the fact this bed is very comfortable. The problem lies in my case since I'm a larger man that the base support layer is not as good as it could be for more heavyset people. I have since ordered a high density foam support pad to go underneath my purple mattress. This has drastically improved my situation. This may be something to think on of you are a heavy person.

So far so good, time will tell. My back was hurting using my old mattress. After about two weeks of sleeping on the Purple mattress the back pain I had been waking up with every day was gone. I'm not a fan of the sheets that were sent with the mattress. They weigh a thousand pounds and cannot be reasonably folded. I think the mattress is worth a try; avoid the sheets.

I purchased a Cal King in July 2017. First the ordering on the web site was very easy. The mattress arrived within three days of placing my order! Speed of delivery was amazing. The mattress was nicely packaged and a small razor was conveniently included to remove the packaging. The mattress quickly expanded without any chemical odors (common complaint with materreses from other companies). Once I laid down I could immediately feel the difference between Purple and mattresses using other materials such as memory foam, gel, latex, pillow tops, etc. Purple truly has a unique feel with the first two inches of the elastic polymer having immediate yet responsive give before reaching the firmer second layer foam. It felt comfortable laying down awake but the true test will be if I could sleep through the night and wake up without any aching. I am happy to say this mattress is allowing me better sleep and improving my overall health as I am not tossing and turning trying to find a comfortable position. My back feels much better after just a few days. The mattress also felt cool and I did not get the body heat trap from memory foam. I am writing this review because it was difficult for me to decide on which mattress to buy. With so many choices it gets to be overwhelming.

I'm very happy with my purple Bed!!! its over a year now and me and my purple we are Inseparable i swear!!! its like the Purple Healing Guru or something in that Matress that just help you with your back pain, all my Aches and pains just Disappeared over the night and I will highly recommend To anybody who has back problems, and believe me they did not pay me to write this

I have had back problems for almost 10 years, pretty severe in the past 4 or 5. After a few months of sleeping on the purple mattress, I just sat down one day and thought, holy crap, my back hasn't hurt since I've been sleeping on this thing. Thank you so much Purple! 10/10 recommend

I researched for 2 months before I purchased my Purple Mattress. This was an investment for me, and I wanted to be sure I invested in the best product. I could not have made a better decision. All the other new mattress brands are just layers of different foam densities. The Purple mattress has the high-tech grid that cups and easily releases your body. Lots of nice, comfortable support and stability, but conforms and maintains support as your body moves. Three years ago, I was hit by a drunk driver and had my artificial hip damaged in the process. The hip replacements had already made it uncomfortable to sleep on my side, but after the accident it was impossible to sleep on my right side. The Purple Mattress technology allows me -- finally! -- to be able to sleep on my right side again. I am so grateful to this company for having the courage and the desire to step out of the box and design and create something that has never been done, and has added so much value to my life. Everything else is just different densities of foam stacked on top of each other. I love the mattress so much I bought the mattress protector and sheets. Again, both GREAT investments I will have for years to come. There really are only a few things better than a restful night's sleep.
