Are you kidding me? This is THE BEST MATTRESS EVER !! I told my husband who can buy a mattress online without checking it out and laying on. Well, after spending good money on other name brands in our local stores and had to return them all after testing and laying on them and a couple I even laid on for an hour. They were horrible and put me in pain that I didn't have before. (now I know where all my pressure points are) What happened to the quality of the old name brands? Thus I thought ok what do I have to lose with money back guarantee. I did it, I ordered online and OMG. Best night sleep in two years and the pain the others gave me I had to return (for store credit) was gone on night one. Purple saved me. And for those like me saying how ridiculous it was to buy that sight unseen among other words. I take it all back. Even my ailing dogs sleep better and we all do not get hot! 3 dogs and two peeps. I normally never write reviews and just had to do a review on this. Please don't ever get rid of this original mattress. 10 year warranty but even if it last a good 6 I will be purchasing again for sure. In fact I am going to order the new dog beds! The key for those that say they are hot is the bamboo sheets. Don't use regular sheets. There is a reason why and I can feel the difference. Closest to bamboo is jersey modal 100% pure beech. They work too. Being menopausal I found what works. Awesome Bed! Its been almost 30 days and I know i will go past the 100 day guarantee. But comfort is comfort and I found it. Always had lower back pain in the past and when my old bed wore out I knew it was time for a new one. Just can't believe the beds in local stores were crap now. Husband called up brother who works for a foam company and told us that the name brand companies were using lower quality foam nowadays. That might explain it. My son a truck driver has the seat cushion and swears by it. I bought the mattress and called to tell him and he told me he had the cushion. Wow, we didn't even know each other had purple in some way. He wants to see if they make custom bed for his truck. I asked him to call purple. I don't have that answer yet while writing this. It arrived nicely packaged and was amazing to watch it open. Follow directions and there is zero problems. We did it and didn't have to move or lift. Awesome-Love it !! This is undoubtedly the best mattress we have EVER owned. It has changed the sleep game, and given both my partner and I the best sleep of our lives. It's quiet, soft but still quite firm, and totally form fitting- as described! There is honestly nothing like it on the market. Additionally, TMI, we had heard reviews that it was A+ for sex and we have to agree! Best bed yet!

I have had this mattress gor about 2 and half months now. I have to say I get the best sleep on this mattress. I suffer from constant back pain but after sleeping on this mattress I dont have much back issues anymore. It is heavy if your bed needs to go ul a flight of stairs either have muscle or help. I would recommend this bed to anyone.

We haven't quite finished our 100 days, but unless something drastically changes, this mattress will not be going back! I can't think of a single night that I haven't gotten a good nights rest on it, and my husband is the same. We love it! I tend to sleep very hot, but this bed has changed that completely! I do not wake up sweating, not to mention our aches and pains are gone in the mornings! If you've been thinking about giving Purple a try, why not?! You have nothing to lose, and I can almost bet you'll love it!

First let me say to take this review in the spirit it is intended... a perspective given a unique situation. I purchased my purple bed primarily because I needed one that lifted at both ends because I came out of hospital and the purple option seemed the best bang for the buck. Now that I am doing better and I sleep primarily flat, I am finding that I still have some pressure points that I would not have expected. They are minimal and I am not sure if they are to do with my injuries. The jury is still out. It is far and a way better than my old bed which was a coil/spring mattress. I may try a pure memory foam mattress to see if it is better than the purple but if you are looking for comfort over and above a coil/spring mattress and the memory foam beds are out of the price range... the purple is a great option. Take them up on the 90 day trial and dont hesitate if you get three months out and decide you dont like it. Sleep is an important part of our lives but it is never given the thought and investment it should get given how much of our time is spent in it. Sleep is too important not to consider a bed an investment. Take your time and find the right mattress for you. Purple is a great option and probably one of the better ones but it is not the only one. The folks at purple... sorry that I am not 100% extoling the virtues of purple... I am just trying to be fair and honest.

I had high hopes for this mattress as I was told by a family member that has one that it sleeps cool and very comfortable. I decided to splurge and pay for this expensive mattress but ultimately returned it because it was too soft and didn't sleep any cooler than others I have tried. The mattress definitely is unique with its honeycomb-type rubber top. I would put this as a soft to soft-medium firmness and I was needing a medium to medium-firm. The pillow is odd as well, just like the top of the mattress, rubber honeycomb and is VERY heavy. I can see why some people would like it, but, it just wasn't a good fit for me.

I have now slept on the purple hybrid for one week and am missing my old mattress. It's extremely hard, I can feel the grid squares, and I now have upper back pain when I wake. I wake up at least 5-6 times a night to readjust in attempts to be comfortable. I cannot wait until the 21 days of required use are up so I may call for a refund. Only positive is the weight transfer is felt minimally.

Really love this mattress! Comfortable, supportive, affordable, best consecutive nights sleep I've had in years. No issues with whatever white powder nonsense is circling the web. I think other mattress companies are just scared with Purple's potential to revolutionize the industry. Stop settling for a mediocre sleeping experience and go buy a purple! I will say it does take a few days to soften up to my particular comfort level, but once it does it is so worth it...

The mattress came in a week or so, and was easy to unpack by myself. I bought a twin XL. So far, the mattress is sturdy, yet comfortable. Some reviewers say that the mattress isn't comfortable for side sleepers, but I have to disagree. I sleep very well!

My son recommended this mattress. They love this mattress. We are not happy with the mattress. It does not feel soft enough since we are both side sleepers. We are giving it 3 weeks before we call the company to send it back for a refund or send it back and upgrade to the next level of Purple.
