I love the mattress, but the amount of plastic required for transport is ridiculous. I try very hard to limit the amount of plastic I use and the amount used as packing for the mattress appears to be in excess of my annual plastic use. I would NOT consider buying another PURPLE mattress unless/until you find a more environmentally friendly manner of packaging.

I knew after the first night sleep that the original Purple mattress was a keeper. The feel of the mattress is soft, yet it is supportive. As a side sleeper, it's necessary to have a soft bed, and it has to have some give to the mattress. A bed that's too soft without support is not good for side sleepers, and the original Purple has the right balance. I'd be curious to find out how well the new Purple mattress performs?

All the amazing things people have written are all true. After years of tossing and turning, of waking up with pains in my shoulders, my back, I've found the cure. This mattress is worth every penny. Tom Brady hasn't tried this one or he he wouldn't be backing the Sealy Black.

I wish I would have bought this mattress sooner. I got the original one and I love it. I usually toss and turn all night but the first night I slept on this I slept in the same position almost all night. No neck or back aches. And doesn't sleep hot.. Do your body a favor a buy one i doubt you will regret it.

The purple mattress was comfortable for the first couple months. Shortly after the weight of my body (175 lbs) started leaving the mattress uneven. I tried moving sides and rotating the mattress but nothing worked. Now every night it sucks me into the middle of the mattress and puts me at an old angle leaving my back hurting most morning. I do not recommend buying this mattress because it does not stay comfortable for more than a few months

First, I love the mattress, so much so that we bought a second 1 for a different room. But the shipping is terrible. Other brands deliver in 2 days but it takes almost a week for Purple. And they send everything separately. The free sheets arrived 3 days after ordering, the mattress 5 days, and who knows when the frame will arrive since they haven't even shipped it yet. It's hard to love a brand you have to wait so long to receive and set up.

I wanted this mattress to be as good as advertised. This was a replacement for my cheap college mattress. As someone who never has issues sleeping or being a morning person, this mattress would have gotten a great review if I just kept sleeping well. I was warned that I needed to let my body adjust to the mattress, but its been 3 weeks and I still wake up with headaches and a sore back. Going to give it a full 60 days...staying optimistic

First thing i need to say is the support team is really awesome, they are really there to help customers. I had a chat with representative before buying the mattress and they recommended purple mattress for firmness, but its too soft and started getting back pain its not me even my wife, kid (9 years) old tried them and same feeling, its not a week i tried them for 4 weeks but same experience. If your looking for firm mattress its not for you. And the mattress lacks edge support.

I was very skeptical and nervous about getting this bed. I researched and waited about 6 months before biting the bullet. This bed is EVERYTHING they promised!!! I've had three different mattresses in the last three years and the Purple is my fourth! I don't have any major issues other than a lack of comfortable mattresses, and sleeping on my side had started to cause pinching in the spine. I also had to use a pillow between my knees coupled with a lot of tossing and turning. My first night on the Purple mattress, and it's all gone!!! I can sleep on my side with no spine pinch. I don't even think about using a pillow between the knees, which is not something I thought had anything to do with my mattress! I also sleep on my back way more as this mattress hugs every curve rather than pushing against them. Instant pressure relief. Night five and I know I definitely don't need 100 days, this is the mattress I've been looking for. Thank you....THANK YOU.....PURPLE!!!!!!!! Oh AND....I should mention the sheets. I didn't want to give up my expensive, lovely sheets but they recommended stretchy. I ordered Purple's and wow. So stretchy, and WAY better than jersey/t-shirt sheets. These are more silky or something, and they don't feel like they will ball up like a jersey sheet. I'm ordering a second pair. I know I read like an advertisement, but I'm just that excited. I read a number of negative reviews and was scared I would end up like one of them. Nope! -Karla-

I must say the mattress keeps me cool. It has helped my back. Overall it's a smart mattress to purchase. It's way lower in cost, a smarter design has an outstanding return policy. For, that matter the consumer won't feel they are stuck with a mattress they will not benefit from. I will certainly tell people it;s overall a smart mattress to purchase.
