1st and foremost, I'm a side sleeper that prefers the softest bed you can think of. I hate a mattress that feels like it's made of cinder block. My wife and I previously were on a pillow top mattress that was very very old. So when we decided to go with the Purple, it was a risk as we hadn't laid on one previously. However the 1st night I slept on it. I was hooked for life. This mattress is so comfortable, for someone who has always preferred a soft mattress, this one delivers. It's soft, yet very supportive, I don't wake up in the mornings with my back being stiff and rigid any more. I feel more rested than ever before. And the mattress breaths well and stays very cool during the night. It's also got some nice spring back as well. ;) Combined with the Purple pillow that we got for free with purchase of the mattress, I have never slept better. Thank you Purple!

I wasn't sure if this mattress would help relieve my back pain or help me sleep. I didn't want to spend the money and have it not work. We have a guest room that the bed was 30+ years old and needed to be replaced. Decided to replace this mattress as a test. After the first night sleeping on the Purple 75% of my back pain is relieved. The mattress continues to help reduce the pain in my back and knees. I have always had trouble sleeping, falling asleep and staying asleep. With the Purple mattress I notice I fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer with less moving around. My dog loves this mattress. She stays in one spot. I don't feel her weight pulling me down and I don't feel her moving off the bed. This lovely Purple mattress is wonderful. I plan on replacing the other beds in the house with Purple. Purple does sell dog beds, it's on the list to replace too.

I didn't realize just how terrible my mattress was until I tried this mattress. I always moved around a lot in my sleep trying to get comfy and with this mattress that never happens. It adapts to all the pressure points and cradles them so I sleep so comfortably. I even got the two pillows because I liked them in the store and they are so incredibly comfortable too. As a nurse my sleep is even more precious and I'm trying to be proactive about taking care of my body. This was the perfect choice !

I'd been sleeping on an old hand me down metal spring mattress for years. I had been researching different kinds of mattresses for a while and Purple seemed to be the one I kept gravitating towards. What I liked most about the reviews I read was that it seemed to be the coolest of all the mattresses of its kind. My apartment is very hot in the summer and I sleep much better in a cool space. Nevertheless, I ordered my mattress in the winter and I worried that I would be cold, but I have stayed at a perfect sleeping temperature. The mattress is also very supportive and comfortable. I haven't slept this well in years.

I love the sheets. Really good fit. Very cool feeling. This is by far the best sleep I have had in a very long time. I only wish I would have waited another two weeks to purchase. I would have been able to get the free pillows instead of the sheets. All is a very good product.

Shipping was quick and easy and arrived without damage. There was no smells once opened. The mattress is fantastic with just the right amount of support and softness at the same time. There is one small detail that I will mention, we can slightly feel the grid through the top layer of padding but that was easily corrected with a padded mattress cover that we purchased and added and now it is the perfect mattress! I definitely recommend the purple mattress for anyone looking for a good nights sleep. Don't fret over it just buy it!

We liked the mattress at first. It was a good mattress for my husband and me. He likes a mattress soft and I like one firm. This initially met both our preferences. Unfortunately, it wasn't too long, about 6 months, that it started to break down. At that point, we were outside the 100-day trial period. The mattress now has distinct low points where we sleep. We've rotated the mattress but that didn't help much because the depressions have been created in that direction too. It's terribly uncomfortable for both of us now. I asked Purple if they could recommend a way to dispose of the mattress. I hate the idea of throwing it away. They suggested I try their warranty process. That seemed like a viable option at first but the low points in the mattress are not visible. The purple layer by its very nature doesn't show the depressions. It's only when there's body weight on it that it can be felt. So I have no way to show them in a picture what's wrong with it. I would never buy one knowing what I know now. It's not built to last and it soon falls out of warranty.

My husband and i are newly married and have been saving for a new bed for months. We were deciding between purple and lull (another popular internet mattress), we decided on purple because they seemed to have more reviews about cured back pain and that was something my husband was struggling with. This mattress is seriously the best. The first few nights we slept on it were weird because we were adjusting but after the first few days we have fallen in love. We both sleep better. We sleep sounder and wake up with less muscle and joint pain. We are both finding that we actually need less sleep because we sleep so much better on the purple. This bed was the best purchase I have made in a long time. It is a great price, easy to set up and came right to us. We love our purple. (i would recommend getting the purple sheets/mattress cover, they just make it feel better than regular sheets)

It was easy to unpack and set up--it took about 5 minutes. I slept so hard and so well the first night, I didn't hear my alarm or the coffee pot start grinding (I'm one who is normally awake before my alarm or coffee pot starts) and I sprang out of bed to get the kids moving for school--without any backaches or neck aches--which were two reasons we switched mattresses in the first place! We're now 3 weeks into sleeping well on this mattress. I am also using the purple pillow and loving that as well. My neck aches are gone! I hear that some people have had funny odors or powder with their new mattress. I can happily report that we've had no funny odors or powder with either product.

We bought the queen size Purple mattress and it arrived right before Christmas. It took a few days to adjust to the new mattress (it felt firmer than I was used to), but grew used to it. I'm generally a side sleeper but like sleeping on my back, but my back would hurt after a few minutes laying on my back on my past mattress. I don't have that problem with Purple. My wife really enjoys it too and it's a great bed for bedroom sports too.
