This mattress is so comfortable and treats my typically-sore back so well. I am blessed with extremely wide hips and a small waist and I sleep on my side which is problematic for my spine. This mattress cradles my big curves and I get out of bed in the morning without a backache now

We love this product. We had an old bed before with the "dents" on each side. We started having horrible back pain both of us and our chiropractor said you guys might need a new bed. So we found a place where you could test a bunch of online beds. My husband loved the coolness of it. And when we laid in it it was just fun and different then all the other beds. We have had ours for 3 years now and seriously not one ounce of the back pain we felt before. For either of us. Also not on sign of a dent where we sleep. My kids love it and we just purchase two beds for my my two oldest. I even had them test all the beds in the store just to make sure it was their choice and not ours. My younger four are insanely jealous but they'll get their chance too someday! We all have the Purple 4. We also got the sheets and the mattress protector. The type of sheets is essential or the bed isn't as squishy as when you initially lay on it.

although i havent noticed any reduced pain i do however feel pretty comfortable in this bed - and the sheets that come with it are amazing - i didnt give it the full excellent since we havent had it that long - the package arrival was a little strange to say the least - the fed ex driver couldnt even move it so we had to help her unload it - it is very heave and awkward to say the least

I absolutely love this mattress! I am not the guy that writes reviews in the first place, but this is worth talking about. My back has never felt better. I get so excited about climbing into the bed every night. Unlike pillow top or memory foam, you don't sleep "in" the mattress, you sleep "on" the mattress. That may sound like it is a firm mattress but the way it relieves pressure on you shoulders, back, and hips is amazing. I cannot fathom ever having another mattress. If you are considering buying one, do your life a favor and go for it. We have the original purple.

I did a lot of research on non toxic mattresses and Purple came out on top with a good price. However, the mattress is too firm for me. I do not sink in so I have to adjust with pillows so that my hips and knees dont hurt. I am 5'2, 112 pounds. An average male has not problem sinking. Take your overall weight into consideration. This does not work for petite humans. Unfortunately, its hard to notice these things withing the 100 day trail.

Amazing bed. Did it pass the egg test yes it did. Even the people's champ The Rock couldn't break it with his people elbow. I will say this since I haven't been able to compare it to other beds. Who has the time to try out all the beds and make a comparison. My last mattress sucks I'd wake up sore most days. I haven't woken up sore since sleeping on the purple mattress. Firm where it needs to, soft where it needs to. Having the right kind of sheets is definitely a must old cotton sheets don't have enough stretch to take advantage of the purple top. The cover on the mattress is also insanely soft.

After 9 months of sleeping on the Purple 4, I am extremely satisfied. I am a lightweight sleeper and I sleep on my side and my stomach. The mattress is soft for side sleeping, and firm for sleeping on my stomach. The chronic shoulder and upper back pain I experienced is gone. And I no longer have lower back pain when standing for long periods of time. So many years I slept on a mattress that was too firm in order to keep myself flat when sleeping on my stomach, but side sleeping became uncomfortable and caused back pain. They designed a mattress that is both soft and firm! Purple 4 is the thickest mattress, so incredibly comfortable for side sleeping. Even if you are a small person, consider getting this big mattress.

Our house flooded during Harvey last year and we needed a new bed. We looked at all of the different online mattress options and decided on purple. We also ordered 2 pillows because we didn't have pillows anymore either. The bed took some getting used to, but is decently comfortable. It slides around a lot on the platform base, which isn't ideal. It's being relegated to the bed in our guest room. The pillows weren't great. The air booster was a complete failure. We ended up buying pillows from Sleep Number instead. Of course, a few months later they have *new and improved* purple mattress and pillows - but we're stuck with the older and seemingly inferior versions of their products. I'm more upset about not being able to get the new booster for our pillows without buying the new pillows because ours are just sitting in the back of the closet because no one wants to sleep on them.

I spent months reading up on different mattresses before deciding on Purple, and I'm more than happy with my selection. I'm not gonna lie, my interest was first piqued after seeing the egg ads (talk about egg-celent marketing!) and the grid seemed like such a brilliant idea that it made me wonder why no one else thought of it first. However I didn't want to fall for funny advertisements and flashy technology (even if it's in my favorite color) so I dove deep into the internet to see how people reviewed it. The reviews all looked promising, but I'll admit that the price point seemed a little steep, so I kept comparing to other box mattress reviews, hoping to find one that would speak to me and my wallet. After much deliberating I finally sprung for it thanks in no small part to the 100 night trial, but I can tell you now that I won't need even half of that to make up my mind! This mattress is by far the most comfortable sleep I've had in a long time and I don't wake up with any aches or pains! I'm a big girl too and I am continually amazed at how supportive and breathable this mattress is and I simply can't recommend it enough. TL;DR: JUST BUY IT ALREADY!

We were in desperate need for a new mattress. I don't even know how old our spring filled mattress contraption was! My husband and I both were sleeping terribly. I am 21 weeks pregnant and getting comfortable has been a nightmare! We have had out purple for 2 weeks now and our sleep has improved and the aches and pains are getting less and less each night! Having to sleep on my side because of my growing tummy it has helped cradle my hips so they do not ache when I wake up in the morning. So far we are highly satisfied with our new Purple!
