At first it took me a few to get used to. My body was so damaged from my old mattress that when I started to sleep on Purple it hurt more. Until one day it felt like I was on a cloud floating in the sky. I went on vacation and on my 3rd night sleeping in that bed I noticed how stiff it was and missed my PURPLE. I'm so in love with my PURPLE MATTRESS

I bought this bed for my 21 year old son. He has a broken back and bulging disks. He is absolutely in love with this bed! The stand I ordered with it is exactly the right hight for him to easily get into and out of bed. Not too high, not too low. I also ordered the mattress Procter and 2 sets of sheets. My son is also autistic and only likes soft feeling cloth. He won't sleep anywhere else but in his bed. My older son has a purple bed as well and loves it. I will be ordering other purple bed for my guest rooms in my home. You won't be disappointed if you purchase this bed!

I am so amazed with the improvement in my quality of life after getting this bed. I've noticed I'm more happy and less irritable. I'm in my twenties and used to wake up constantly tossing and turning and now I don't wake up in pain and I feel fully rested in the morning. I used to wake up late and exhausted after getting plenty of rest. Now I'm ready to conquer the world and hop right out of bed. I am a disabled vet with a lot of aches and pains. I had an older pillow top mattress that had out lived it's time. I have tried new hybrid Serta high end mattress and had to return it because it was a nightmare on my pressure points. My daughter in-law recommended this purple mattress because of my problems and oh my I was so surprised. I could not believe this would ever be so comfortable on my joints. Don't stop making this mattress.

This is by far the greatest mattress you can get. Other mattresses have caused my double joints to move out of place while sleeping, but the Purple keeps everything in place without making anything lose blood flow. Definitely worth it if you have joint problems or old injuries.

We've had our Purple Mattress for a couple of weeks now, and I'm still not loving it. I had to start by buying all new pillows, because the pillows I've used for years on various mattresses were now not tall enough. I also wake up sore or with my arms or legs asleep more nights/mornings than not. The mattress is very soft - at least for a couple inches before you hit the depth of the rubber. The smell DID air out after a couple of days with the windows open/fans on. Until that point, expect your room and anything that touches the mattress to smell like sour milk! I was initially also disappointed that, though they were running the ads everywhere, we could not add a free mattress protector to our order. However, I don't think we'll end up keeping the mattress, so it really doesn't matter now. I *am* very interested to see how a return works, since the mattress is SO heavy and unwieldy!

My wife and I have the basic purple mattress and after a month or so you'll feel every little movement. Our standard schnauzer was scratching himself with his teeth and it felt like we were in a semi waterbed. Would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND PURPLE 1!

I owned a purple pillow before buying the mattress, so I had an idea of what the grid felt like (I really like the pillow). This is the first mattress I've ever bought so I can't say I'm an expert, but as someone who prefers a firm mattress, this definitely suites my needs. Additionally, as someone who kinda switches between a stomach sleeper and a back sleeper, I find both positions comfortable on this mattress. You sometimes sink too far in to be comfortable stomach sleeping on certain mattresses, but this one holds up.

Purple Review My boyfriend and I ordered the Original Purple Mattress in king because we wanted an upgrade from our queen Beautyrest HyBrid Mattress. My boyfriend is about 200 pounds and I am 140 and we are both somewhat sensitive sleepers. The delivery was smooth, our mattress arrived in a purple burrito shaped bag right on our front doorstep. When we unrolled the mattress and it decompressed, we were both disappointed by the height. It seemed very thin, And when one person stood on the mattress and the other watched, you could see their foot was almost touching the ground. Personally I found sleeping on the mattress uncomfortable because of the purple grid pattern underneath. It felt like I was sleeping on a chain link fence, but instead of metal, it was rubber. It was very prominent and I never was able to get used to it. However, I woke up in the morning feeling fine I didn't have any back pain or anything. My boyfriend, on the other hand, woke up every morning with tons of back pain. Overall, we both agreed that the mattress never really gave us that "tucked into bed feeling" and we decided to return it before our 100 night free trial expired. The returns process was extremely easy, all I had to do was fill out a form with some details and I was given the option to either donate it or recycle it. I chose to donate it and within a few days a donation team came and picked it up, albeit they struggled a lot as the mattress has no handles and is extremely heavy. It only took one day after that for Purple to process my return to and to issue my refund. In conclusion, I do not recommend the original purple mattress, but if you try it and decide to return it, definitely make sure you complete the entire refund process before the hundred days is over.

Since purchasing my purple mattress my back has never felt so good. I used to have sciatic nerve pain and after sleeping in the purple for a while it's gone.
