I adored the feel of purple--buoyant support, like floating on water, or a cloud. It was awesome when laying on my back, but when I flipped onto my side my shoulder would ache within minutes. Wish I could, but I just cannot fall asleep on my back so the shoulder pain when on my side was a problem. I persisted for 5 weeks but purple didn't get any softer for me so I sadly decided to return the mattress. FYI, I'm 5.11 and 140 pounds, and my shoulders are a bit wide. Last thing: the chemical smell of the mattress is still lingering after those 5 weeks.

Years ago I saw the ad for the mattress protector. The squatches had me rolling. Clever advertising and new technology were I have always wanted a Purple, I knew they were a big investment. A month ago a friend had purchased a Purple and I had the chance to sit on hers. I loved it! Naturally, Affirm became an option and I jumped at the chance to get my own Purple through financing. I ordered the Cali King, sheets, and 2 Harmony pillows. JUST DO IT, GET THEM! I now sleep better than ever, and so does the husband! I should add the Customer Service Rep's at Purple were so kind with tracking my order! Would buy again!!! We are actually looking at cushions and jammies now!

Ive had the bed for a week now and i can say that i like it allot but i weigh about 125 and i feel like i have to gain about 20 pounds so that i will actually sink and conform to the bed ive experienced lower back pain waking up for a couple days now and i think that has to do with how light i am i think once my weight is up the bed will work better

We have slept on a VERY firm mattress for years and were waking up sore. The Purple mattress was more firm than I expected, but when we woke up after our first night on it, we were not sore. We have been sleeping on it for about two months and are happy with our purchase. We also got the Purple Platform and we like that too--it really doesn't squeak, which was the main reason we bought it.

With time it seems that I wake up with more noticeable back pain. Not thrilled about the investment. At first it appeared to be a dream mattress, making me return a competitor's (at return fee loss). Now the honeymoon (and trial period) is over and I notice lower back pain upon waking. Not sure if the mattress is defective or perhaps, with time, not as firm; therefore causing pain. It is what it is.

I can not begin to tell you how satisfied we are with this mattress and I was not paid to say this. We bought this mattress for our 12 year old son because 1. he loves your commercials especially the bigfoot family and 2. because his mattress needed replaced. Wow are we ever happy. I say we because the whole family (all 6 of us) have slept on it (individually of course). My son said he is going to start charging us to sleep on it. I have never slept so soundly in a long time. I was in a car accident and have a messed up neck and after sleeping on this mattress it has help tremendously. My husband and I have a Tempur-pedic and we are definitely going to replace it with this mattress for ourselves. It was so much fun to set up too. Very easy set up. The customer service was excellent! I cannot complain at all!

My son accidentally ordered the wrong size mattress for my husband and me and Purple exchanged it. After a couple more blips we finally received our mattress and we LOVE it! It's a much better mattress than one for which we paid twice as much. My husband has back issues and he's been sleeping so much better and so much more comfortably on this mattress. During the process of ordering and reordering, the Purple staff was top notch. Easy to speak with a human being, and friendly, yet professional, customer service. I would highly recommend this mattress and company!

This mattress is from the Gods. We have one and love it. We decided to buy one for my parents. They are always complaining about a horrible night sleep and aches and pains. Needless to say, they LOVE it. No pain. No aches. Restful sleep. No complaining!

It's been about 3 weeks since purchasing our mattress and so far we love it. The harmony pillows are the best pillows we've ever had! Have to admit I was a little skeptical about the grid but it is super comfy!! The sheets are really nice, too and we purchased the mattress protector too.

I was a Sleep Number 35 and my husband was a 65. Lately he had been suffering from terrible shoulder pain and was contemplating surgery. After a week of sleeping on our Purple he is entirely pain free. I have a lower back injury and have had issues with hip pressure points and back pain and sciatica. The purple has improved my comfort so much I can actually sleep on my back if I want to. It is firm, but not hard. We both sleep blissfully. Best purchase ever!!
