I was hesitant to purchase another mattress in a bag, as the previous mattress in a bag I owned did not fully plump out and was not as comfortable as I thought it would be. I was pleasantly surprised with how plump this mattress got and it is COMFORTABLE! I am happy I purchased this mattress and highly recommended it! It was packaged well, easy to set up (although it is HEAVY), the mattress cover and sheets are very soft and high quality. Buy this mattress!!

Ever since a backpacking trip 16 years ago to see the redwoods in Northern California, my lower back hurts every night. It has never been a real issue, as once I get up, the pain goes away after maybe 5 minutes of walking around. I've just gotten used to it. The only "bed" that doesn't cause the pain is my hammock, which I now use on backpacking trips. Besides the hammock, every single mattress causes back pain. I've probably slept on 30 different mattresses between friends' houses, hotels, and family. Well, last night was my second night on my new Purple mattress, and they were the FIRST two nights in an actual bed that did not give me back pain. I know all mattresses claim to alleviate back pain, and so many reviewers say the same thing, but the Purple has seriously set my back straight. Fortunately, my back pain wasn't serious, and did not cause problems once I was out of bed, but it's nice to be able to sleep 10+ hours and not have to wake up due to back pain. Furthermore, it was amazing being able to just jump out of bed to quickly take the puppy out this morning. Usually, I would have been limping around for 5 minutes before the pain went away. When I first laid on the mattress, it was firmer than I expected. My first impression was actually that I would like it, but not love it. After two nights, I couldn't be happier. My wife and I both slept great. She doesn't sleep well, and didn't wake up once. I know the back pain disappearing for two nights in 16 years sounds statistically irrelevant, but it is the ONLY two nights on a mattress to be able to claim that. It was the mattress for sure. I am sold, and will be keeping my Purple. Oh, it also doesn't transfer motion, which is great for us with dogs. So perfect. I'm so happy! Thanks Purple!

Last night was my first night on the queen sized mattress! I am already HOOKED for life! Just got rid of my pillow top mattress which I USED to think was the most comfortable ever . WRONG! Thank you, Purple...... Your mattress is absolutely AMAZING!❤️

We already had a Purple Mattress for our home and when we would go camping in our RV we had to sleep on the serta we had in there. We would wake up barely able to walk and it would ruin our whole trip. We got a Purple Original and what a difference. It is immediate relief. It works wonders on our back. I pair it with a wedge pillow and my pain goes from a 8 to a 2. I have pinched nerves in my back and sciatica and my husband has bulging discs and nerve damage. This makes waking up bearable.

Is this bed worth the money? Sure! Does it really match up with those other $2000-3000 mattresses? Nope. I've had the purple mattress for about 2 months now. I am happy and sleeping comfortably. Maybe my expectations were a bit too high. I've laid on those over price mattress and went "wow"! The Purple mattress doesn't have the same affect. Would I recommend, sure! But I will note that it's not gonna blow you away.

I'm a highly active person. I work out 7 times a week. I do mud runs and engage in multiple sporting events. In the past I've always struggled with lower back pain. I've tried a few different mattresses, i.e. memory foam, traditional, etc. Since I've slept on the purple mattress, my lower back pain has disappeared. I am a side sleeper and I find that the purple matress supports lower back and hip very well. I highly suggest this matress. Thanks Purple!

I was expecting a soft cuddle, especially since it cradled an egg without it breaking. Instead it was very ordinarily firm (customer service it was a 6 in the firm scale). I experienced lower back pain after the first night night and continued for weeks after. Even though I followed all of the customer service recommendations, my back could not bare it after a 3 weeks. Unfortunately, this was not the perfect mattress for me or my wife.... Just to be clear, it was not a weight issue as others experienced. We are a active fit couple. I am 165 lbs / 5'-9" and my wife is 130 lbs / 5'-5"

Twin XL matress supports all near 250 lbs of me. Comes in a nice soft cover(in case you were wondering if it came naked, cause I wasn't sure) Took a couple days to get used to, but I wake in the morning able hop out of bed...no shoulder pain, no hip/knee issues. Big selling point for me is this matress should not break down like previous spring matresses and I don't trust foam, even memory foam pillows turned into foam bricks for me. No more sleeping in a divot or flipping me or the matress around(which is good because, fair warning, this matress is pretty weighty). I am pleased as Purple and hopefully will be for years to come.

Ever since we got a purple mattress, my husband and I feel rested when we wake up, and we dream all night long! It's hard to leave bed in the morning! And the Purple Bamboo sheets we ordered are amazing. We are both eagerly awaiting our Purple Pillows. This review may sound fake, but it isn't! We are in heaven. One of the best purchases we have ever made, because getting a good night's sleep is so important!!

I am a side/ back sleeper. When we first started sleeping on the mattress, everything was fine. But after a while, my body started to hurt. I now get shoulder and hip pain while sleeping on sides and wake up with lower back pain after sleeping on back. I've tried different pillow combinations under my head and even sleep with a pillow between and under my legs. They have helped but I still wake up with pain.
