Ok. I just woke up from my first night's sleep on the purple mattress. First off let me say that I have had several back surgeries and still have 2 rebuilt vertebrae, 3 missing disks, 2 rods, 10 hooks, a missing rib and a titanium vice on the inside of my spine so let your imagine go as to how much pain I am used to feeling upon getting out of bed. To my great surprise and overwhelming delight I got out of bed this morning, after only one night, and was able to walk down my steps to the first floor of my house without having to go one step at a time. As I am writing this review I am actually hoping that it is really just all in my mind and that by the end I will still feel the pain I am accustomed to and will just close the browser page. When first laying down on the mattress I was unsure if it was going to work because it is such a different feel than the normal mattresses on the market (even the memory foam). I am 55 years old and am one of those people that take at least an hour, usually more, to fall asleep. Not so on the purple mattress. I don't even remember how or when it happened. I just fell asleep. Such a weird feeling after so many years of tossing and turning and finally passing out instead of going to sleep.. Let's talk heat. I wake up every morning, even in the dead of winter, burning up with no sheets or blankets on as I have kicked them off sometime in the night. Not on this mattress. Now they claim that is due to airflow but I am not sure that those little purple squares allow ANY airflow but somehow someway I woke up and wasn't exactly cool but I most certainly was not hot in the least and was still under the bedding. Yet another weird feeling. I am going to wrap this up because I could really go on and on but let me just say this, if you are in the market for a new mattress you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not at least try the purple mattress. I am sure it is not for everyone but if it can please me, a person who is NEVER satisfied with anything, and so far for me it has lived up to everything claim the company made, then you might find it as great as I do right now. I will be sure to write another review after the recommended 30 days of my trial or upon returning it to Purple which ever comes first. ORDER IT NOW! Why spend another night sleeping lousy? What have you got to lose? They say you can return it if not satisfied. PS. I am hoping to become a back sleeper in the near future now that the pain giving bed has been replaced by Purple. I've had my purple mattress for almost 3 months now. In all honesty, the first month or two that I had the mattress was fairly uncomfortable. After the first week I toyed with the idea of taking advantage of the 100 day free trial and returning it for something that worked with my body better. I woke up with a stiff neck and a sore back. The purple top layer was very comfortable, but every time I sat up in bed I felt like I was "bottoming out" of the top layer. My husband was impartial but we decided to keep the mattress for another month and see if our bodies acclimated and we could get used to it. I hadn't realized that mattresses need time to be broken in. After about 10 weeks, this mattress has broken in and is now absolutely perfect and I'm getting the best sleep of my life!!! The top layer cradles my body yet the mattress still feels firm (which is perfect for my back). I'm so glad I gave it the time to break in. While I don't like the idea of sticking it out in an uncomfortable situation, it was totally worth it.

I bought this mattress about 2 months ago, I am an E.M.T who often sleeps on what ever bunk is open every other week I work 120 hours. I was in desperate need of something to come home to and be able to sleep as soundly as I could and as comfortable as possible. Back story on body my left shoulder is frozen the more I work the harder it is to move. My right hip never likes to stay in place. I tend to fall asleep on my stomach hugging pillows and wake up on my back. The first 2 weeks was adjustment period I wasn't sure at first. Then out of nowhere as disappointment was setting in, suddenly it was a wam bam thank you ma'am I fall asleep like a baby, no matter how rough the day I wake up refreshed at least my body. Well worth the investment just give it time.

I am a hard worker with way more to physically live up to than my body can truly handle after a lifetime of ranching and working. I go to bed hurt from something that happened during the day or simple overexertion more days than not. It is very rare that I have woken up feeling rested. my purple mattress seems to shorten my healing time exponentially and each night contributes to less overall back and body tension. I received body work and use a foam roller. Both my therapist and myself have noticed remarkable differences in the issues my body has. The support for my curvy body allows my big hips and broad shoulders to sink in and my narrow waist to get relief and support. I am no longer bent in three different places no matter how I lay. I actually looked forward to going to bed every night instead of being sure that I will only toss and turn. I no longer bolt out of bed at 3:30 or 4:00 in the morning because I cannot lay down comfortably another minute. Purple changed my life.

I've been waiting to get a purple mattress for a few years now. I finally was able to get one recently. It's pretty good but it seems like it's taking longer than usual for my body to adjust to it. My neck is the worst, I keep waking up with weird kinks and soreness in the back of my neck and upper back. Hopefully that will end soon. Other than that(lol) I love the mattress.

I had a nice memory foam mattress for a few years but unfortunately I was starting to wake up with what felt like pressure pain on my back (I am most a back sleeper but sometimes on side also). I went looking for a new mattress late last year. I tried a hybrid memory/coils and didn't feel much difference compared to my solely memory foam mattress and most importantly I woke up with achey back also. So after looking around some more I started to look at the purple. The grid intrigued me and after a while I ordered one. I have been using it for a bit over a month and will be keeping it. I wondered if it would feel weird to sleep on something like the purple grid but I don't really notice it much. The material is pretty soft and shapes to your body. You can feel it with your hand if you slide it around the mattress. You kind of sink in but you bounce a bit and get support so it's not like those plush pillow top mattresses. The grid is responsive as they say. When you move around it immediately adjust to your body so it's different than memory foam in that sense. Another of the advertised features of the purple is that it is a cool mattress because of the grid. I haven't noticed it becoming overly warm during the night so I would say that's accurate as well. Two nitpicks I have are that it feels heavier than my memory foam mattress (I like to rotate my mattress every few weeks so one side doesn't wear out faster than the other) and the corners could use more support. I wouldn't suggest you sit on the corner. Overall, I like the purple mattress. I am mainly a back sleeper as I mentioned and I don't wake up with pressure pain or a stiff back on it so for me it's a keeper.

I had really high hopes for this mattress, and it ultimately lived up to it. It took awhile to "break" the mattress in. I was not used to a firm mattress so I was really worried at first when I kept tossing and turning the first few weeks. But I wanted to give it time and see if it got better. I read somewhere that the Purple mattress could be "broke" in by walking on it (basically trying to break in the foam base), and I did that for a few days and it really seemed to work! We have had the mattress for over a month now and I really do love it. It supports where you need support and gives where you need it to give. The purple mattress it definitely worth giving it a try!

The company is extremely hard to contact. It's been a month or better and I have still not gotten my free sheets. Don't order any ancillary products until you're sure you're going to keep it as you cannot return them. Look at the return policy. More to it than advertised. I do love the bed but do not like the company at all.

I'm very pleased with my Purple purchase! Love the floating feeling I get when I'm still and breathing. The ordering experience was excellent and there was good communication (key) throughout the processing / shipping period. Somethings of note; living in a hot desert climate I was happy to find the bed stays very cool all over, and bounces back to maintain its shape thus far.

The more I sleep on the bed the more I like it. Even came back and bought a second one. Next we will get one for the RV. Really love that my first bed came with free sheets, just wish you could actually buy the purple colored sheets. I need a matching set.
