If you're a back sleeper like me you will absolutely love this bed. It will feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. Occasionally I will toss on my side or stomach, in that case it would feel like the best bed anymore. When you're on your side it feels somewhat hard it's weird. I am mainly a back sleeper though and I love this bed for that.

Formerly slept on a Tempurpedic "cloud top" mattress and found it to sleep too hot. I would wake up several times a night sweating. Three weeks with my Purple and I'm having the best sleep that I've had in years. I rarely wake up and night and have been feeling great in the mornings. My only two complaints are that I thought that the shipping took a little too long and that the mattress unrolls upside down requiring me to flip it. I was home alone and found it quite difficult to flip a 140lb king size mattress by myself. Love the mattress though.

It is amazing how soundly I sleep and my lower back pain is gone after sleeping on this mattress. I have had it for 2 weeks and I wake up every morning pain free and no more morning grogginess. I am 62 years old and wish I had found this bed years ago.

I purchased a Queen mattress in 2016 and loved the mattress so much that when I moved I wanted to get a King for the master bedroom and move the queen to a guest room. I am not sure how I feel about the King as I am still getting used to it which I did not expect having already been a purple customer and absolute fan! It feels like the mattress has been changed or modified and I am giving it 30 days to see if I can adjust. The mattress I purchased in 2016 was much firmer and this one seems to be much less so. I Will write an update once the jury is in.

Our mattress took longer than expected to deliver. We ended up getting the frame that is super heavy duty and yes is very well built. We had received the mattress and frame a week apart which stinks cause I wanted to lay on it but had to wait another week to get rest of bed after waiting a long time to get the first part of it. I am still waiting on the pillows. As for comfort it is OK it is not what was expected. The mattress seemed very much like laying on several gym mats. The frame looks and feels like it'll be built for life. (Very nice quality) if anything I would change... I would have shipped the bed out together so the customer didn't have to wait for all the pieces to show up.

My husband and I purchased the King-size purple mattress and platform base about six months ago. The mattress is very comfortable but I have noticed an indentation on my husband's side where the mattress hangs over the edge of the platform base. I do feel motion transfer whenever he moves around in the bed but I'm not sure if it's from the mattress or the frame. The frame has been a huge disappointment. We ordered the king-size platform purple base at the same time as the mattress and it is anything but silent. It doesn't fit the mattress either, it's several inches longer than the mattress which means without a headboard our mattress slides on the frame and we lose our pillows behind the mattress. It's also more narrow than the mattress which has cause the aforementioned indentation in our mattress on his side. Also it is incredibly squeaky. Anytime either one of us moves it we have to listen to incredibly loud squeaking that sounds like a really old metal frame. Given that the frame is advertised as being whisper silent, this has been a huge disappointment. It's so loud I can hear my husband moving on the bed upstairs while I'm sitting downstairs in our living room. Don't know if we got a lemon but it's a bit of a let down for what we thought we were getting.

We purchased this mattress when I was 5 months pregnant with our third child. For months already I had been dealing with hip pain from having to sleep on my side during the pregnancy - something that I had also dealt with during the previous two pregnancies. The first night on this bed I was leery that it would be comfortable - it seemed much firmer than the samples we had received - but I woke up pain free and didn't have any trouble sleeping. It did feel a bit weird when I would lay down the first few nights but by night four I had adjusted to it. As an extra plus, I have only heard my husband snore once since buying this mattress (something that used to wake me up once a week), and I don't feel him moving around at night either. You can seriously flop down on one side of the bed and the person laying on the other side doesn't feel it. This has also made a huge difference in the quality of our sleep. We've invited friends and family to come over and lay on our bed as well and everyone has been very impressed.

I bought my first Purple mattress about 8 years ago and instantly loved it. It was the best night's sleep I'd had in years. That mattress was still going strong but I had to downsize my bed when I moved to a new place. I knew I wanted the same Purple mattress I had before, but I was concerned if the quality would be the same since the company has grown and there are more options, but the new one is just as amazing as the first (and actually the packaging is much easier to open)! I *highly* recommend this mattress. The customer service is phenomenal too. I had a minor issue with the website when I tried to order, jumped on the chat, and the rep on the other end recreated my order and emailed it to me in under 20 mins. I just had to click on the link and finish paying... everything was simple and professional.

I wasn't totally "sold" for the first few nights of sleeping on this mattress. My husband and I had been sleeping on a really soft mattress for years, and were very used to it. It certainly took a few weeks to get adjusted. But I can say that now we really do love it. I don't hurt anymore when I wake up. The only thing that I have issues with is that I am a side sleeper, and I need to get a thicker pillow to support my head and neck because my current pillow causes my shoulder to hurt on the side that I sleep on. Once I get that, it will be perfect. My husband is a stomach sleeper, and he loves the bed. Also, the sheets are AMAZING.

I was impressed with the great customer service and pricing. I love my Purple bed and how it has helped my lower back pain. P.S. I would have been willing to pay a little more so the bed would have lifting handles for moving. Maybe in the future that should be something optional that customer's can choose to pay extra for? -Chris Strouse
