To start, the ordering was easy online. They said 2-4 weeks for shipping on my king mattress. 4 hours after ordering I get an email saying my order had shipped?!! Perfect example of under promise and over deliver! The updates were quirky and were written in an engaging way which kept me informed and amused. 4 days.....not weeks later the jumbo purple duffel bag arrives at my door. In my excitement I immediately tried moving it inside and up stairs to my room. DO NOT TRY THIS ALONE! This sucker is heavy! Definitely a 2 person job for the king size! (ended up waiting for my wife to get home to help me move it) Opening it was also fun! Although this thing is an actual giant purple duffel bag, the zipper is on the end and it would be nearly impossible to remove the mattress from that thing. Purple has a video on their website that shows you how to easily remove the mattress from the bag. Once opened and unrolled the mattress is in a vacuum sealed pouch and it is about as thick as comforter. when you cut the vacuum bag open you start hearing a sucking sound and the mattress begins to take shape. After about 60 seconds it's fully formed and looks just like any other mattress. Then you lay on it, and you realize this thing lives up to the hype! It is soooooo comfortable. It contours to your body any way you lay on it. I have arthritis in my spine and degenerative disc disease so I pretty much live in discomfort. This discomfort is often times amplified after sleeping because I am not moving around and my joints stiffen up. I have owned and tried all the "magic" beds including tempurpedic and sleep number with ZERO relief. Purple got it right! I have slept better in the last month on the Purple than I have in over 15 years. I wake up feeling rested, not sore and locked up from stiff joints. Finally, the customer service. I received the promotion from Purple when you buy a mattress you get a free set of sheets. These sheets are NICE! It's a box set with top, bottom sheets and 2 pillow cases. They are super soft and stretchy like t-shirt material. Upon opening, I noticed a small hole in the corner of the fitted sheet. It was a very small hole, in a free sheet that probably would never effect me but I felt it necessary to notify Purple about it. I sent an email with a picture of the hole. The following day Purple reached out and all they asked me for was to confirm my mailing address. To my surprise, 3 days later a brand new box set of sheets arrived at my door! Purple, thank you so much for this bed. It really is a technological marvel in sleep comfort. Thank you for the free sheet set. Thank you for the constant communication. Thank you for standing behind your product and the excellent customer service. But mostly, THANK YOU FOR A GREAT NIGHTS SLEEP! Josh

I tried this mattress for 30 days. I actually stayed cool every night, but didn't notice until I tried my old mattress again. This mattress I found to be a little too firm for my taste so I decided to return it. I must say the return process was easy and I got a full refund. Very impressed with the company.

After years of back aches on every mattress I tried (except for one night on a great mattress in a hotel, where I didn't think to get information on it), I have finally found sleep nirvana. The first two or three days, although much better than my other mattress, were not total bliss, as the mattress just felt, well, *different* enough that it was hard to really just drift off. Now, however, I crave coming home and laying down. Once used to it, the mattress almost disappears underneath you, as the support is so uniform it becomes invisible. I had no problem ordering the mattress, it arrived on time, it was heavy, but easy to install. The purple "tech" is so comfortable that I am considering ordering mattresses for both my kids, as well as a purple cushion for my office chair and my car.

I've had my Purple Mattress for a few weeks now and I love it! I previously tried a memory foam mattress from a well-known competitor and I had to send it back because it was like sleeping on a rock slab. It got so bad that I developed difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep. With Purple, I peacefully drift off to sleep and stay asleep all night. There is something special about the Purple grid that makes it soft enough that it is very comfortable, but it is also supportive through the night. I wake up feeling well-rested and ready to seize the day!

I was anxious to receive my bed as I had read a lot of the great reviews and questioned the consistency of them, I also read some bad reviews and became stressed all the more. However, after receiving my bed and lugging the super heavy tube up three flights of stairs I've been sleeping like an angel. The bed is brilliant and truly unique, give it a try, you've nothing to lose!

After sleeping on this mattress for a few weeks I noticed that I no longer wake up with lower back pain. Sleeping in almost any position is comfortable, compared to the last mattress I owned there was only one position I could assume. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase. If you are looking a new mattress you should consider trying a purple.

I know this review is long, but I want to be thorough. The Mattress Itself: I wish I had listened to the 1 star reviews before purchasing our mattress. My fiancé and I ordered the Purple mattress hoping that Purple's claims of innovation and comfort would hold true, but soon came to realize that Purple just has a really good marketing team. The mattress was extremely firm and we both experienced excruciating back, hip, and shoulder pain. Purple claims: "The Purple® Mattress is made from a patented Hyper-Elastic Polymer which can help prevent back, hip, and shoulder discomfort." Interesting. Their pillows also have a design flaw that pushes air into your ears and causes pain. The Return Process/Customer Service: When we went to return our mattress, we were informed that Purple does not have a delivery service that they will have come pick up your mattress, they will "try" and find someone to pick it up as soon as they can, but they are in Utah so there is only so much they can do. They will even ask for your assistance in finding someone to come pick it up the mattress that you were not satisfied with - whether that be a charity, disposal company, and they went as far as to suggest that I "ask my local pastor". Since we wanted to return the mattress they tried to charge us for the promotional frame that originally came for free (which was bent and extremely difficult to put together). Purple says you have 100 days to return the mattress. What they do not tell you is that those 100 nights include you proving to them that the mattress has been junked or is in the hands of a charity. If you give the mattress a chance for 90 nights and call on the 90th day, but no one can come pick up your mattress within 11 days (which is out of your control) you are out of luck & will not get a refund so beware of all of this. Our refund also took almost 2 weeks to receive. They will most likely leave a generic, automated, very impersonal response to my review as they do for all low star reviews. Telling me to call customer service. I have and that is what prompted me to write this review. Thanks for reading hope this helps.

We bought the OG Purple matress because I am a hot sleeper . In this respect the mattress is wonderful! I am getting some muscle aches that I wasn't getting on my old foam mattress. I am giving it another month to adjust and see if I get used it it. I will update then.

I'm going to start off by saying I'm a fan! I never took the time to write a review before because let's face it, usually you only write when you aren't happy.... I have been happy with my purchases. My first purple purchase was a mattress about two- three years ago. It was and has been amazing! I have owned a crazy number of types of mattresses with some pretty ridiculous price tags (17k was about the biggest) and I can honestly say the purple mattress is the only one I still own out of all of them! Since my original purchase we have added an additional mattress and four pillows (2 OG and 2 of the latest). I didn't go with the new mattress when we decided to purchase our second because quite frankly if it's not broke why fix it? We love our second one as much as our first! The pillows..... it was kinda broke, so we kept our faith and they redeemed themselves with the second one! The same with mattresses, I have had my fair collection of pillows and the newest ones from purple are pretty dang comfy! It's like they watched the guy with the my pillow ad and said hey I'm gonna take his slogan and go actually make the pillow they are talking about (the my pillow guy didn't even do that)...... so basically if you want an all around comfy mattress that actually makes your body feel amazing the next day then purple is the best bang for your buck! I'm seriously waiting for our new puppy to get out of the puppy stage so I can order the pet bed.

I slept on this mattress an Airbnb. It was the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. So I bought one. I think the biggest thing is I never reposition myself in bed because a joint hurts. Only to change sides. At first I thought the mattress ran hot, but once I put the custom pad on, it was perfect. I would have liked to bought this sheets, but I needed black(two labs). The pillow is crazy comfortable. Assembly was easy. I was able to do it myself with the size. I have only good, nothing bad to say
