Best bed ever. I normally do not do reviews, don't believe them. So far this bed is the best bed I have ever slept on. I have had back and neck surgeries, and I can get a good nights sleep on this bed. Love it also purchased one pillow and because I as a side sleeper it is perfect (so far).

When I first got the bed I was super excited as I had done a ton of research about the purple mattress prior to buying. I suffer from severe back pain and most nights I'm struggling to find a comfortable position on conventional mattresses. So when I purchased purple I thought my days of back pain would be behind me or at the very least diminished to a dull pain. My mattress arrived, and I slept on it for the first night. It took me hours to get to sleep and I woke up incredibly stuff and in severe pain. Now from my research I knew theres an adjustment period so I chalked it up to that and gave it more time. Now, a month later I'm pretty sure the adjustment period is over and my experience has been this: I have not slept all night on the purple mattress. I have more pain now than I did before. Instead of my lower back hurting as usual, now my neck and shoulders hurt as well as my hips. I bought the original mattress because I figured it would give me everything I needed in a bed and assumed it would be a little softer than it actually is but it's super firm. I wish that I would have known how the mattress would have felt to lay on prior to buying it as I would have chosen a softer option. What makes it worse is that I reached out to purple with my issues asking for help and have not received a single response so that just makes the whole experience for me extraordinarily dissatisfying. I cant send the thing back as my husband loves it and has injuries from his tour in Iraq and it helps ease his pain so I will end this review by saying that I'm utterly disappointed and disheartened by my experience and I hope no one else gets stuck in the position I'm in now.

Matress is better than what we had but we need a box spring because bed is too low and the ply boards make too much noise every time we move. In addition, I still have to toss and turn. I've slept in bed where I didn't have to wake up and toss and turn all night long so I guess this isn't the perfect mattress for us, but I don't know what else to do.

It's extremely comfortable. The service is great. It feels so different than any other mattress I've ever slept on. It's very soft when you sit on it and the firms up to support my back. Don't know how they do it but it's cheer magic! Highly recommend getting this product.

After researching mattresses I thought I felt confident in my purple mattress. I got it in a timely matter and it was fairly easy to set up. My husband has been away for the last year due to military duties and I decided to treat myself to a new mattress while he was gone. I kept giving time for my back to get used to it, it never quite did. My husband has returned and is so uncomfortable and I feel so bad getting the classic purple and him coming home to another uncomfortable bed. Should have upgraded and now we are both stuck in fairly new, uncomfortable bed and are back to researching other companies.

I've bought 4 twin XL 's over the last 4 years for two sets of adjustable king beds. Love these beds! I used to own a Select Comfort. I sleep more comfortably on the Purple. Cooler, better support, don't need to readjust it at all. I am especially happy that they work so well with our adjustable bed frames. The base Purple is all I'll ever need!

I have a trouble sleeping on other mattresses due to a back injury from work a few years back. I broke my L5,L4,S1 and C1. Essentially I was told I would not walk again. I the stubborn type so I did not and would not take that as a answer. Long story short I started walking again. I tried multiple different mattress such as sleep number, lull and nectar. They all lost their firmness and comfortability pretty fast within the first two to three months. So much so that I stopped being able to sleep on my side. For four years I slept like this strictly on my back. So I decided to invest and a purple mattress instantly on the first night that I set it up I was able to sleep on my side the first time in four years I'm so grateful to purple how comfortable are mattresses their mattresses are worth every penny and then some. Purples products are so comfortable I had to buy the pillows and also the seat cushions for work When anybody ask me mattress they should buy I always Point them to purple. you won't regret it if you decide to buy a purple mattress

I was so excited to get my Original Purple mattress. It was extremely heavy, but once I got it on the bed frame, I couldn't wait to sleep on it. My first night was "different" because I had been so use to my standard spring mattress, but the second night I really started feeling the difference. It allows air to flow and keep me cool during the night and the whole bed doesn't move when I move. I have found I am sleeping deeper which is amazing since I use to wake up every little bit.

My wife and I have never agreed on a bed, and I thought it would be no different with the purple mattress. She likes it soft but I like it firm. With the purple mattress, she was skeptical and I was willing to take the plunge. Aside from the wait to get the mattress in, the experience of opening it and sleeping on it has been great! Usually when changing mattresses we expected some pain for the next few days to adjust, but with the purple mattress we had very little stiffness to adjust to it. We are extremely happy with the comfort which manages to please us both. In addition, the mattress is sturdy and quiet when moving on it. This is a great point with having small kiddos. If we have to get up or if they are in the bed with us, they tend to move a lot which you don't feel as much since the purple bed does not distribute movement or bouncing much and just absorbs it. Over all we are happy with our purchase and will love the bed for years to come.

We had The Purple 3 for 3 weeks and really wanted to like it. It slept cool and I didn't wake up stiff, we just couldn't get used to the feel. To us it wasn't comfortable to lay on. We want a bed that hugs you when you get in and with a purple I felt like I was sleeping on top of the mattress and not in it. Have to say the return process through mattress firm has been great and with purple it was no risk.
