I normally am not the type of person to be talking about my mattress often however this mattress is incredible. I have told all my coworkers and even my boss about this mattress. Literally everyone I talk to I tell them about the purple mattress. It really is different than any other mattress I've had (the ads really are true). It's incredible and I recommend it to everyone who wants a fantastic night of sleep

Purple does a really great job marketing their mattress, I will say that. Ordering and delivery were quick and easy. I was pumped to get my new Purple! Once I started sleeping on my new Purple, my arms and hands started falling asleep which as you can imagine, is not a good proponent for a good night's rest. The purple is thin and feels insignificant. It felt cheap. I track my sleep on my smartwatch and my deep sleep dropped from about 90 minutes a night to sometimes as low as 15 minutes to around 45 minutes. You know when you finally get in bed at night and you have the feeling of "ahhh it's great to be in bed"- well I never had that getting into the Purple. I never had the desire to get in bed to watch a movie or read. To sum it up, the Purple mattress is just MEH. I returned mine and got a Saatva.

I love this mattress! I went from a 10+ year-old stiff box spring mattress to Purple and I could not have made a better decision. I show everyone I know this mattress and they are in love. I even caught my roommate taking a nap in it when I was in class...

I purchased this mattress after reading online, watching raving youtube reviews and one of my friends swore by it. I'm a side sleeper and have always liked extra firm mattresses. I have slept on purple mattress for about 15 nights and I'm not impressed at all. I have woken up with a tight lower back and needing to stretch my entire body. Since there's a 100-night trial, I'm giving it a couple more weeks before calling it quits.

I was pretty excited to try Purple because of the innovative grid technology. However, I feel like the 'cells' are too big and I end up sinking right through. This lands me into the foam, which just isn't firm enough. I am a side and back sleeper and find that I am in an overall curve from shoulder to thigh. I wake up with the deepest ache in my ribs and spine. Ouch! This is the 3rd foam 'bed in a box' I've tried. They just aren't for me. I thought maybe I just needed to get used to the bed, however I stayed at a hotel the last two nights on a innerspring mattress and woke up pain free. Gotta go, gotta go.

I was diagnosed with Scoliosis a few years ago, I've rarely been truly comfortable on a mattress. I would wake up all hours of the night or just lay there wishing I could sleep. I decided to make purple my first big investiment, and I haven't regretted it a night since. :)

Now after sleeping on the purple for several nights I have run across that it is to soft. It acts like a memory foam and I sink into a hole and have to wake up to move out of it. I have tried buying a platform base to fix the issue and that does not work, but since I've gotten rid of my bed I'm guess I'm stuck with the purple now.I'm not satisfied but have no other option but to keep the purple. Unless you have another alternative

This mattress is one of the best I've slept on. The first two weeks have been bliss. I'm on my third week now and I'm feeling some slight sagging in the purple grid. When I sit on a side that's barely used (like the foot of the bed) it feels prefect. But when I sit on my sleeping side, I sink in enough to feel the layer below the grid. I only weigh 215 pounds so I wouldn't think I'd be too heavy for it but I may be incorrect. I could also have a defect of some sort but I'm not sure. If anything, I'm probably just over reacting the the bed getting used to my weight and shape. Either way, the purple original is pretty great other than the slight sag mine has

Maybe for other people but after 6 months the purple 2 started sinking in spots and after many years in the military, what I sleep on matters a lot. They did replace it but I've had this for a month or so and it's already worse than the previous, so bad that I dread sleeping on it. I will have to contact them on a refund at this point.

I was very excited to try the Purple, however from order to delivery will be one month. Without a mattress currently, that month for delivery is ridiculous. Further, customer service on delays they caused has been terrible. It could be a great mattress but initial impressions on customer care are not a good sign.
