I have not had back or hip pain since I unrolled my Purple mattress a year ago. Nothing I have ever slept has had such a perfect balance of support and comfort, all without pressure points or heat buildup. This is saying something. I am 68, owned seven furniture stores in my life. I sold all the major brands in the larger stores, and futons, waterbeds, and tube flotation beds in specialty and boutique stores . I've even worked with large manufacturers designing mattresses that we hoped would accomplish what my Purple mattress does. My thanks to the team at Purple for so greatly improving the quality of my life.

I love it but my wife, a side sleeper, now has pain in her neck shoulders, knees and back. Our old mattress was a medium firm memory foam that we bought when she was pregnant. We both liked it but decided to give purple a try since we wanted to upgrade to a King. It's only been a few weeks so we're still hoping the purple proves it's advertizing! Side note details: we purchased the mattress protector but not the sheets and the mattress is on the ground till we get a new bed frame, if that makes any difference.

Over the past fifteen years, I have been on a quest. I have been looking for the best nights sleep. I was buying a new bed every two years (it takes me about a year to decide if I really like a mattress or not). After trying all sorts of different technologies and brands, someone suggested looking at one of the new bed in a box companies. I did my research, looked at all the major players, read tons of reviews, and finally decided Purple looked the most promising. And, it was a fraction of the cost of many of my previous beds! I took the jump, and ordered a queen sized Purple mattress. I can honestly say it was a lot of fun to unpack. My favorite part is breaking the vacuum seal and watching the mattress pop up like a giant marshmallow! I remember laying on it just minutes after unpacking and feeling absolutely weightless. I spent the next week trying to find an uncomfortable position to sleep in (I failed). No matter how contorted, I'd fall asleep within minutes. It is also the only mattress I have found which allows me to fall asleep on my back (priceless). Fast forward one year, and I have ordered a king sized Purple (upgrading). If these beds sleeps as well on year five and year ten as on night 1, they will be more than worth the investment!

I have been wanting to try the Purple mattress for a few years and my wife and I recently made the switch/upgrade. We could not be more pleased with the support and comfort level of the mattress. p.s. Do yourself a favor and get the pillows and sheets. You will be AMAZED and your body with thank you!

We finally replaced our mattress that was approaching its 9th year. I had some trepidation about buying this mattress especially since the mattressing we're replacing cost 4 times what PURPLE cost. Shipping was quick. We've only had the PURPLE mattress a couple months. But so far SO SOUND we sleep and more importantly I don't wake up with aches and stiffness. We're very please... I'll update if anything changes

The first night I slept on the bed was a night and day difference. I went from a sleep number to purple and this bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. My body feels refreshed in the morning instead of the usual small body aches I used to have. I'm a big dude and was skeptical at first but I'm glad i made the move to purple.

As you may be able to guess from the title, I did not love my Purple immediately. I "slept" ( I use that word very loosely) extremely poorly for almost two weeks. I couldn't get comfortable, and when I would sleep I would wake up achy. At the two week mark I said that I would give it a few more days and if there was no improvement, I would send it back. Then, a miracle. I slept like a rock! It was one of the best nights of sleep I've had in months! I woke up rested, and I've slept like a dream ever since. So, if you have alignment or poor posture; take heed, it may take you a bit to adjust. But stick with it! Because it is worth it!

I've owned the Purple king size mattress for several months now and I can honestly say its the best mattress I've had so far. I have owned several traditional pillow tops and I always had back pain. My back pain noticeably improved quite a bit after using the Purple mattress. I think people who expect it to be a miracle mattress are often the disappointed ones but if you have reasonable expectations for a mattress, I think this mattress will not let you down. Also, when you include the low price, no salesman hassle, and delivery, I will be purchasing more for other rooms in the future.

I like the mattress I feel like it is worth the money I don't really ever sleep with eggs so I don't really care about the role egg test but I do find myself tossing and turning at night because I wake up and my back is hurting slightly I feel like it's the perfect mix between soft and hard but one of these days hopefully I'll find a mattress that I love not 100% sure that purple is that a mattress

My wife and I bought it last month. I loved it (back sleeper) it was really holding my back well. My wife didn't - she is a belly sleeper and it felt to her like her back is being twisted back all night. We had to return it after a few nights of no sleep on her part. Great customer service BTW, Purple team took care of everything.
