I have spinal stenosis and scoliosis and arthritic bone spurs in my spine. I have had 13 years of trying every kind of mattress on the market and NONE worked. I would have cramps during the night and just generally hurting and never having a good night's sleep. The first night on my Purple mattress I slept 5 1/2 hours straight...usually I would wake up every hour or two all night long and wake up so tired. Now I wake up refreshed and ready to go. Purple is amazing. Thank you.

I bought a purple mattress a little over a year ago. Ive been in denial that this mattress is causing me back problems because I waited to like it a d spent so much money on it. But I spend a.good bit of time in Hotels and never wake up with the same back pain as I do at home on my purple mattress. Its also already has sagging holes after less than 2 years. Very disappointed to be stuck with this expensive heavy block of foam.

My next bed would be a King for my room. Very comfortable bed. I Loved the ease of putting it together, I even bought a headboard for the guest room, will definitely buy one for my bedroom. This bed felt great, I actually woke up with less body aches, a BIG plus in my opinion.

So by switching to purple I have better sleep. However, idk if this is a defect mattress or that's just how it is. Ive been using this for a month now, it was great at first. But now my weight is not evenly distributed. I always sink to the right side.

The first week or so took some getting used to. Now, I sleep through the night almost every night. This mattress does an incredible job of keeping me cool and cushioning my painful joints, and as a result, I'm sleeping far more restfully and I feel better during the day. My dog loves it. My cats love it. My husband loves it. I will definitely be recommending it to family and friends who are in the market.

We love this mattress. The cats love the platform as well ( big area for them to hide under lol ) My fiance is about 300 lbs and super tall and we've had issues in the past with other mattresses. We could tell instantly when lying on it, it was going to be amazing! My whole family notices a difference in my energy. I love my purple mattress!

I found the bed to be comfortable when sleeping on my back. I do sleep on my side as well and noticed my shoulders would hurt or my arm would go numb. My guess is that the bed is too firm. It's still a really good bed and I'm hoping that with time I can just get used to sleeping on my side.

All the hype about Purple (and the cost) lead me to expect something incredible. It didn't quite deliver. I sleep well on it, but it's nothing special. At first, it's quite underwhelming actually. It's just not terribly comfortable in the traditional sense - it has kind of a cheap feel compared to other mattresses in this price range. Here's the test for me: Getting into bed at the end of a long day doesn't have that "wow" factor. That said, it does provide good support and avoid pressure points. I find myself sleeping more soundly than on my older worn out mattress. I don't get up in the morning with any noticeable stiffness. My hope is that this material holds up better over time than traditional mattresses or memory foam and I don't regret the price I paid for it in three years.

I had originally purchased the hybrid 2 mattress and I kept waking up with hip and back pain due to the firmness of the mattress. I returned the mattress and decided on the original purple mattress which has made a world of difference! I am a relatively light person of 143 lbs, and this mattress feels much softer while still giving me the support I need. I highly recommend doing your research on which mattress is the best fit for you and your body type and sleep style.

I really wanted to love this bed, and at first I did. The first month with my Hybrid Premier 3 were heaven. My chronic back pain was feeling better, I woke up feeling refreshed and relaxed. My wife's neck and shoulder pain were all but gone. Then things started to go down hill. Slowly but surely both of us started noticing hip pain we didn't have before. My back pain returned with a vengeance, and I started having terrible shoulder pain. My wife's shoulder and neck pain returned. After spending a little more time on the bed we had enough and decided it was time to return it. Unfortunately, I purchased the bed at a retail store, and the 100 night return period started on the date of purchase, not the day it delivered to me (about 17 days after I purchased it). I did contact Purple to see if there was anything else we could do but since I purchased it at the store there was not. Understandable, but still disappointing. So I'm stuck with it and out almost $3k for the Cal King we purchased. My wife and I have moved into our guest room so we can sleep on our old queen size Classic Tempurpedic until we are able to get a new bed. I do want to clarify, my poor review is strictly based on our personal experience with the bed itself, and not on the fact that I missed the cut off to return. That was my fault for not paying attention.
