I love, love, love this mattress!!! From the first moment I laid on it, I knew it was the one for me! Before I was sleeping on a pillow top mattress with a 6in memory foam topper, which while it was very comfortable, trapped heat and I felt stuck in the bed. This mattress has almost the same feel as the memory foam, but without the stuck feeling, and I don't wake in the middle of the night drenched in sweat. I believe part of that is due to the Purple sheets I have as well. The sheets are so soft and don't bunch on the bed. They also keep you cool at night. I used to hate a top sheet, but now I use the Purple top sheet every night. Now, I really want to try one of their pillows!

This is my second purple mattress I have purchased I enjoy how comfortable they are. It's the best I have ever slept, I have told my friends and several have bought one and they love it as well. I highly recommend purple to everyone looks for a great mattress

I was given some advice many years ago by a wise and trusted woman. She told me to never skimp on good shoes or a good mattress because you spend most of your life on your feet or in bed. This nights sleep is WAY worth the cost! With love and gratitude for y'all at Purple

It took me a few nights to get used to our new Purple mattress, but now that I have, I love it. It is very supportive, but not hard. We got a new mattress because the topper that was on the old one broke down and my husband complained of having to sleep in a valley and it hurt his back. We are both very comfortable on the Purple and I'm hopeful that we don't see the same depressions form over time with this one.

The only reason I give four stars isn't by fault of the Purple team, or the product for that matter... it's mainly bc I haven't quite figured out what's going on with me. I thought sleeping on this mattress and pillow would be instant bliss, and forever great sleep. About half the time it is, but the other half I wake up with a pain in my neck and back. It's like sometimes the mattress is perfect, then others it's almost as if it's too soft for me. My wife is in love with it, and I for the most part am also. I'm not sure if my pillow height is not correct or what it is, but the strange thing is that it's not every night. I will say though that I toss and turn exponentially less, and am far more comfortable on it than ANY bed before it, I've just got to figure out this pillow thing I guess. It came with two risers and at first I didn't use either. At that point my back was billing me, but then I started using one of the risers and it got much much better, but still not 100 percent. I tried with both but instantly it felt too high and extremely uncomfortable. I did have to deal with customer service at one point on another issue and they helped them and there with no issues and they were extremely friendly. All in all I would most definitely recommend, and already have, to others. Thanks Purple.

I purchased this for my daughter who was experiencing back pain when sleeping on her own mattress...would find her asleep on the couch more often than in her bed. After purchasing her Purple mattress she has no more back pain and no more sleeping on the couch.

By far the best purchase of a mattress ever. This is the second one purchased in our household purchased a full size last spring and now a twin for my father and we love them. I'm a plus size guy and these mattresses work amazing even for me. Will be a purple customer for life. Well worth every penny spent.

Despite the commercials that suggest a "goldi-locks" sort of zone with the Purple Mattress, my feeling is that it is rather on the "firm" side of mattresses. Add to this that you can feel the intersecting zones of the material laid over the heavy foam through the mattress covering, and it's kind of an odd sensation. It's a good bed. I don't think it's the BEST bed in the world. While I know Purple has a bit of disdain for memory foams, a thin layer over the top of their patented material may help reduce the odd sensation of feeling the small square sectioning of the underlying substrate. I will say that the Purple sheets made of bamboo are outrageously soft and comfortable. They're as stretchy as a rubber band though, which takes some getting used to. The bed, along with the sheets, are very breathable and that really helps with the coolness factor at night in the summer. Overall, the sheets I'll be buying for awhile. If I'd ever buy another Purple mattress, I'm not 100%. It's almost like I can feel the underlying metal frame through all the layers of material and the mattress itself is a little firmer than I'd like. That said, I do believe this tank of a bed will last basically forever.

Good back support but not at all happy with its supposed "temperature neutral" abilities. Every day that I wake up I can feel my body heat on the mattress even for 30 mins after I have removed my self from the bed. If you're looking for a cool nights sleep this is not it. I'm highly considering returning. Very sad because I had high hopes for the mattress but it just isn't doing it for me.

My wife an I have always had back pain when waking up in the mornings. Conventional mattresses are too stiff, memory phone mattresses are too "giving" and make things worse. For the last several years we have had a Sleep Number bed and it was better but still had problems. We are only one month into our Purple mattress but it looks like this has solved the issue. Both of us are getting great nights sleep and waking up relatively pain free. We are both side sleepers and it accommodates that well. There is only one minor thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars. The recommendation for this mattress is use "stretchy" sheets. I have one set of Purple sheets and one set from Sheetz. It is minor but I just don't like the feel of sleeping on stretchy sheets and wish I could use traditional high thread count cotton sheets. But it is a sacrifice I can make. So the point of that last comment is, if you do not like the feel of a satin type sheet (which is what I equate the stretchy sheets to) then take note of this requirement.
