Having had severe spine, arm, and skull fractures, I needed a mattress to alleviate some of the pain from such fractures. I have had this mattress for 25 nights. I do feel refreshed, but not entirely. I am hoping I just have to break the mattress in. Back does feel better, but only on certain nights. Could just be the way I sleep or maybe my pre-existing conditions, but I was expecting a bit more out of this mattress.

I have given it about a week or two to get used to it but unfortunately I am still waking up with back pain. I am a side sleeper and it does not work for me on this bed. I have tried laying on my back to see if that would be better but no luck so far. I was really hoping at the price this bed is that it would work for me. Love the frame though.

After waking up with a back ache nearly every morning I convinced my wife that we needed a new mattress First we did our research online. Nearly everyone says the new Purple is a great mattress, but my wife was having trouble getting over the price. It would be be the most expensive mattress we had ever purchased by a large margin margin. I won my wife over by using the following logic. The mattress should last about 10 years and costs (Queen size Purple 3) about $2200. That makes it about $220 per year. So I asked her was it worth $220 per year to wake up with back aches almost every morning? Besides, even if we we hated it we could always get our money back for the first 100 days. I saw it as no lose situation and convinced her. The mattress turned out to be everything I hoped, some how it is soft and supportive all at the same time. In the 3 months we have had it I think that i have woke up in the morning in pain only 2 or 3 times! Pretty sure it must be be witchcraft! I actually told my wife (of 27 years) that she did not like the mattress and demanded we send it back that we would have to get divorced! Fortunately she likes it too! The only down side to the entire experience was the "WHITE GLOVE SERVICE". It was no where near "White Glove". 2 dirty, filthy guys delivered and set it up. I mean they were filthy. Looked almost like came directly from a coal mine. They did a good job setting it up, but that was not what I pictured when I saw Purple offered White Glove service.

Both my husband and I wake up from a night on this bed with sore hips , shoulders and necks. It was good for about the first 6 months but not long after that 100 day trial the bed started to get "our body shapes" Of course the indentation does not quite fit within the "warranty" guidelines so we are just out 1400.00. This bed has truly made our joints much more sensitive to the pressure points that are in contact with the mattress We figured This bed would last at least 8 years but after less than two years we can't take it anymore and are going to have to find another bed. So much for budgeting

I'm a large woman, at when I first looked at the pics on your website I thought the mattress would engulf me as soon as I lay down on it. But it's fantastic! Not too firm, not too soft, perfectly supportive. Don't be spooked by the pricetag -- it's a little pricier than coil-spring mattresses, but those aren't even in the same league. This is more comparable to Tempurpedic (my previous mattress), but it's less than half the price, PLUS it's not nearly as hot in the summer as the Tempurpedic. I could not be happier with this mattress, and I've already convinced two other friends to purchase one.

My sister has been telling me for a couple years I needed to bite the bullet and get a PURPLE. I'm so glad I finally did. I work night shifts as a nurse and now I climb into bed when I get home and fall right to sleep. Before, with my old bed, it would always take me awhile to get comfortable. I can't say enough good things about my Purple products. My mattress and pillow are so awesome!!! Next thing on my list is a Power Base! Thanks for being such a great company to work with! Your employees are great! When I had an issue with something, they took such good care of my needs, quickly and efficiently. They made it so easy! I'll definitely be back!

We recently ordered a purple king mattress and although I loved it, it was not a fit for my wife. Unfortunately we processed a return for refund. I cannot say enough about the customer service we received; how convenient the process was and how helpful the representative was!

I have been wanting a purple for years now. I finally got one and wish I had gotten it sooner. I have had a VERY hard time sleeping but this mattress helped tremendously. It is different from other beds, but you adjust really fast. I also bought the pillows which I am also very happy with. They seem really heavy but then when you lay your head down its perfect. If you are on the fence, just do it. It's the best bed I have ever had.

After sleeping on waterbeds for 45 yrs I couldn't find a regular mattress, other than ones costing over $3500, that didn't hurt my lower back til I found Purple. I'm perfectly happy with my Purple's ability to release pressure at key pressure points and to not sleep hot like other foam mattresses we tried. I think It's a keeper!

My neck and shoulders are hurting every morning since I've slept on our new purple mattress. I'm not sure it's my own body tension or incorrect sleep position . I've tried different pillows but still no relief. I'm sleeping on a different mattress now to try and rectify my pain. My husband and son however , are in love with the mattress. Still not sure if we are going to return it?????
