I have been pleased with my purple purchase, about the 100 day mark .I began to notice the area where I sleep wasn't a firm as when new . The opposite side is still firm . When pressure is applied its easy to feel the grid pattern isn't as close of firm as the unused side. I am beginning to question the capability of this mattress if I am seeing a breakdown in stability with only about 120 days in service. I am also a bit concerned about how cool this sleep system would be , to me it was false or poorly researched information. Yes I do wake up during the night because my bedding is hot . Never had that issue with a conventional bedding. If I would have known these issues before,I am certain I would not have purchased, this Purple sleep system. At the rate the patented grid is failing I am pretty sure one side of my mattress will be worthless within the first 12 months.

This is the best mattress that we have ever owned. We also have the adjustable base. We are buying purple for all of our children as well. I have degenerative disc disease in six discs in my spine. I cannot sleep unless I am on this mattress. It keeps you cool as well. My husband and I have never agreed on a mattress until we found this one. My daughter who is a preteen has scoliosis and she has back pain but not when she is on the purple mattress. Do yourself a favor and just buy it.

We did our research and decided to try the purple brand mattress. We were in love after the first night of sleep! My husband and I typically prefer firm mattresses. We decided to try something a little softer (this mattress is roughly a 7 out of 10 for firmness). This is, absolutely, the most comfortable mattress we've ever purchased! The purple brand did a great job assessing how to cradle and support your body. I am typically a side sleeper. The support from your shoulder to feet is incredible. No more waking up stiff and sore! This mattress needs to come with a warning: YOU WILL NOT WANT TO GET OUT OF BED AFTER SLEEPING ON THIS! I am excited to see how long this mattress lasts us. Typically we go through a mattress every 4-5 years. I really hope it lasts a long time. My only constructive criticism to Purple: We purchased the mattress protector as well. The protector takes away from the softness, comfort, and support of the mattress. The first week we slept on the mattress without the protector (It was great). The second week we slept with the protector on the bed (It felt too firm without enough support). We could feel a major difference in comfort and support. I recommend Purple work on developing a protector material similar to your sheets, or something that is more flexible and can adhere to the mattress "give" better.

Hands down the best mattress I've ever owned. It took about two nights for my wife and I to get accustomed to the the cover of the Purple bed; it's nothing horrible but like everything that is new you feel the contours of mattress cover. We love this bed!

The most comfortable mattress I've ever owned, almost feels like i'm laying down on air without the uncomfortable pressure points from the material. I found myself tossing and turning less as well. Almost never wanting to get up sometimes when I'm on it. I am very pleased with this mattress best thousand bucks I've ever spent.

First off let me start this review by saying my wife and I love our bed. We ordered the New Purple 3. Now before I get into details about the bed I want to address one major problem. My issue is not with the mattress or even the company Purple. My issue and frustration was and is with Manna the shipping company contracted by Purple. I ordered our bed on March 21st. I waited a few about 2 weeks before calling because I had not got a confirmation of shipment. I was told by a representative at Purple that they were back ordered and it could be up to two more weeks before my order was made and shipped. Understandable. So I waited two more weeks and called again. This was where the trouble started. Purple confirmed that they had in fact shipped my bed and that it was being transported by a company named Manna. I was given a tracking number and asked to call back if there were any more problems. I waited a few more days and started tracking the shipment. They had it for a month and I called them 6 times trying to locate it and no one could give a direct answer. The nightmare that company caused was unacceptable and should not be tolerated. Long story short Manna took a month to ship it and I had to go pick it up myself in Philadelphia because they said they couldn't deliver it for another two weeks after they "found it". Let me tell you what I trust more than Manna. Bill Cosby to take my wife out to dinner. Casey Anthony to babysit my children. Roseanne to tweet for me. Hillary Clinton to manage my computer server. Bernie Madoff with my retirement fund. FEMA to take care of me after a hurricane. Now that you understand the type of incompetence that you will get from Manna let me tell you about our Purple bed. It is absolutely amazing. I served in Iraq. My body is not it top condition. I have never slept on a bed that I don't remember sleeping on. That's how good I sleep. When you lay down it's super comfortable. When I move it's easy and doesn't disturb my wife. My wife also loves the bed. Her lower back problems have subsided and she too sleeps completely though the night. I without a doubt we will be purchasing this bed again

I'm a 70 year old man. not over weight and pretty healthy. However I've had back problems for years. Mostly bad morning back aches that would last for an hour or so. I tried several different mattress combinations including a sleep number bed for many years. I've been to orthopedic doctors and physical therapy. Taken all kinds of pain meds. Nothing helped much. My granddaughter suggested I try a Purple mattress. I finally did order one and after the third night I woke up and walked to my kitchen before I realized, I didn't have a morning back ache for the first time in probably 8 months. After sleeping on the Purple for about a month without morning back aches I went on a vacation and slept in hotels for seven nights. Back aches were back and very bad. Came home and after two nights, back aches gone again. I use to get out of bed by 5:00 or 6:00 in the morning because I couldn't stand to lay there any longer. Now I can stay in bed until 8:00 and enjoy it. Pretty amazing. Might not work for everyone but it sure has for me. Even My orthopedic dr. was amazed. Richard.

We just bought a new house and knew it was time to get a new mattress. After reading all of the reviews and watching the "campy" commercials we decided to give Purple a shot. Best decision ever! We are so happy with it. It's super comfortable and we both sleep great. NO hip or back pain. Thanks Purple. We are big fans!

I wasn't sure how to rate this. I love the pillow, but not the mattress. The mattress seems to be well made. And it looks nice. It didn't off gas very much, which was nice. The construction is unique, and is supposed to allow for both pressure point relief and for cooler sleeping. But it failed me on both. My hips are arthritic, and from the very first night, this mattress left me in more pain, all night long, than my old mattress. And I woke up hot. Customer service was very nice about arranging the return. They were super! I give them a big thumbs up, for understanding my pain. So I chose the middle rating, giving them credit for good customer service.

The mattress is great, the shipping process was really bad. No tracking information, the package literally didn't move and I was told at one time it was likely going to be declared a lost package- how do you lose a mattress?! Once it finally arrived the mattress has been great!
