My husband and I are sleeping on 2 different twin XL mattresses. He prefers a firmer mattress without a pillow top. I have a memory foam type mattress, and I do notice that the Purple is cooler when I'm lying on it, and I don't sink into it. He loves his Purple!

I've been in need for a new bed for the last couple years now and when I was doing my research for the best foam beds out there, Purple was my number one option. So I purchased an original purple with the mattress protector, The purple pillow and got free sheets with it. I can safely say that this is the best mattress I've ever bought hands down. I suffer from back pain and every morning I wake up with little to none to start my day. I love this brand!

Unfortunately we never fell in love with our mattress. Two sleepless weeks in I broke down crying, I couldn't do another night. I was worried I was going to go through a lot returning it but Purple was so nice! NO guilting, no "You need to sleep on it longer". They made it very easy for me to donate it to a local church in town, didn't even have to mail my receipt but sent them a picture and saved the stamp, my money was even back in my account that day! I think I like it. still getting used to the size. I went from a King to a Queen and didn't realize how much I would miss the extra space. The comfort of the mattress material is good. I'm hoping that it really is cool come summer as I sleep hot, and don't much like being too hot. I bought the purple mattress cover and found some stretchy sheets, but it could still be cooler and I'd be happier.

I have been interested in a purple mattress for years now. My wife and I even went out of our way to visit the purple store on a family vacation just to get a feel for the purple mattresses. I purchased the purple pillow when it became available and haven't been able to sleep well with another pillow since that time. The time finally came when we agreed that we needed a new mattress and I ordered the purple mattress without delay. I love it as much as I had hoped I would. The mattress is incredibly supportive but soft and cushy at the same time. Love my purple mattress and will continue to do so for many years to come. Already thinking of getting a twin for my son when he grows out of his crib!

We've had our Purple Mattress for a few weeks now and we love it. I'm a side sleeper and my husband is a back sleeper and we both feel like we are sleeping on a cloud. When I purchased my Purple, it was to replace my old SleepNumber bed. Purple's commercials are not only clever, but made complete sense to me. With the 100 day trial, why not give it a try? So we got the King, loved it, wanted more, and decided to upgrade to the Split King Powerbase and pillows. ITS AWESOME! The product is well-thought-out. Equally stellar, and this is just as important, is the Customer Service. I needed help with the exchange process and they were wonderful. When I call them I feel like I'm talking to a friendly neighbor from America. No call center located in India. I have been getting relief for my back, hip, and neck pain with the mattress, I love the adjust-ability of the powerbase, and I love the wave massage too. I got all of this at half the price SleepNumber charges for the same features. Thank you, Purple!

this thing gives matresses a whole new name. you first sink in it and then it hugs. if this thing could talk it would say dont ever leave me baby. ill be honest though this thing is like having a girlfriend. you wont want to go to work when you wake up. you wont want to go party with youre friends either. expect to procrastinate because of this thing because its as irresistable as chocolate.

I am still getting used to the mattress. I am a side sleeper, and the mattress seems a bit too firm. When I am on my side my calves kind of float over the mattress, so I'm not being "hugged" like I prefer. When I'm on my back it's great, but that's not where I typically sleep. I'm wondering if a topper would help my situation?

We have been through so many mattresses through the years this one by far is the best my husband needs firm I need soft it hurt my back the first week I thought we were going to have to return it but after the first week I wouldn't have any other bed I love it we just bought our kids their mattress because they were used to sleeping on ours and we couldn't get them to sleep on any other now they sleep all night on their new purple mattress
