I bought this bed for my husband because of his back problems and I can say that it has helped relieve some of the tension and stress that is put on his back at night. At first, your back has to readjust to the bed and how your natural alignment is so it may be uncomfortable. However, after about 2 weeks, both of us felt better rested and his back felt more relief than it had while we were sleeping on the previous bed.

I've now had my purple for about 2 months. I like it well enough that I plan to keep it. I've always struggled with mattresses and this one is certainly not worse than others I've tried and maybe a even bit better. As a bigger guy (250lbs) I find myself wishing that that the purple layer was a bit thicker because I feel like I sink through to the foam layer underneath which is more firm than the purple layer. Or perhaps an even better solution is for me to lose some weight... In any case, the mattress is quality and for the money, I'm happy with my purchase.

My wife and I love our new Purple Mattress. We had previously purchased a memory foam mattress but had to get rid of it because it was sleeping so hot. The Purple Mattress is GREAT for those that sleep hot, and really comfortable. So glad we purchased this!

I ordered two twin XL mattresses for our king bed. Our old mattress was not providing enough support and we were having back pain. Long story short...my husband LOVES the purple mattress. Sadly, I started out loving it, but with each week that passed, my hip pain and stiffness got worse to the point I couldn't pick up anything from the floor, sit comfortably, do ordinary chores etc. I started sleeping on the floor and within days I was back to my old self. Just this week I made the call to get a refund for my twin, but my husband is keeping his. Even though it gave me a great night's sleep, my body could not handle the Purple. _

Before this bed I have always been a stomach sleeper with a little bit of side sleeping. I would try and try to sleep on my back but I never got comfortable and reverted back to stomach and side. Now I can sleep all through the night on my back and I even wake up in the same spot and position that I fell asleep in. That rarely happened before!

I have had the purple mattress for two to three weeks now. From day one after sleeping on my purple mattress I have not had any hip, back or shoulder pain. After a few years of getting up and down all night from being in paid with back and hips, I can say I no longer have this issue and it is all thanks to sleeping in on the purple mattress. I have not overslept sleeping on my previous mattress, but on my purple mattress I overslept because I slept so deeply. I wake up in the same position I went to sleep in! I'm 65 yrs old and when I wake up my bones don't hurt, my back doesn't hurt. I think the other members of my family are going to want one, too!

What a great purchase! So very comfortable, and we very much appreciated the way it arrived at our home. The handled bag made it so much easier to transport to the bedroom and it was very easy to unpack. My sleep has improved so much since this purchase - thank you!

Never again will I sleep on anything but a purple mattress. This is my second one and I intend on never ruining my body with some other mattress again. It's a life saver. I've had 3 knee surgeries now and it has literally made it easier to recover because it's comfortable enough to lay on for long periods of time.

Review title says it all. We purchased what we thought was a great, high quality traditional mattress. Just was not right, too firm, and just never did the job. Invested in an iComfort matress, paid way more than we wanted to, and hoped we had solved the problem. It did not. It is uncomfortable, and way too hot. To this day, I don't know which one is worse. We have gone back and forth at least 3 times, never sleeping well for years. Studied and reviewed the Purple, and decided, with the 100 day guarantee, it looked like the right thing. I must say that we have loved it from day 1. I think it is much cooler, much more comfortable, and just feels great. NOT REGRETTING MY CHOICE! If you are on the fence about the purple, take the plunge!!
