The mattress is fantastic, however, when I ordered it mine took almost 4 weeks to ship and the day I got it my roommate ordered the same one and got his within a week and was also given a free seat cushion. If I wasn't already so happy with my mattress I would have been more upset about that fact.

I have fibromyalgia, many bulging discs, neuropathy and other ailments. I haven't been able to sleep in my bed more than 2 hours a night for over a year. Since we got the purple mattress, I can sleep all night. It really does relieve the pressure points.

I've owned this bed for 3 years. When I first got the bed I felt like I was floating on the top of the bed. Lately It has started to sag and is causing me back pain. I have sleep apnea and the uneven sagging does not help with my breathing which causes me to wake up in the middle of the night trying to catch my breath. Not happy.

I hadn't bought a new mattress in 10 years so I spent countless hours researching and debating and finally pulled the trigger. The second I set it up, my dog claimed his space. That night I went to bed and slept like I've never slept before. In fact I slept for 14 hours. Only downfall is it's ruining my social life since all I wanna do every night is crawl into bed.

After 9 years, we felt our prior memory foam mattress and boxspring just weren't very supportive. My side of the bed was definitely sagging. Often I would pull back the covers as I thought the memory foam to be a little warm at times. My wife would complain I would sink in and then she would roll downhill into me. I've seen the Purple mattress advertised for years and how it was cooler as well as being soft but very supportive. Yes, all true. The mattress feels soft but keeps your body amazingly firm and level. I'm 265 lbs and I don't feel like I sink in to it. When either my wife or I get up out of bed, the other person doesn't even notice. We've had it a little over 2 weeks now and are really enjoying it. We opted for the original Purple mattress, bed platform, and sleep package (2 Harmony pillows, sheets, and a matress cover). Best bed ever!

I had been sleeping on a memory foam bed for five years and this last year I have had tremendous back pain and could not figure out why. I had lost over 80lbs during that year putting me in a healthy BMI range- my back should be better, not worse. Being a bariatric patient I could no longer take NSAIDs to keep the inflammation down so my doctor had me start taking tramadol for the pain which let me sleep for about 4 hours a night. Not wanting to be dependent on tramadol, I went to a physical therapist who said my body was strong and flexible (I'm 39) but my lower back was incredibly stiff and he could not determine the cause. Then I went to an acupuncturist every few weeks to release the stiff muscles in my lower back but that would only last for a few days and then back to pain so intense I could only sleep 2-3 hours at a time. My last resort was getting a new bed and I decided to give Purple a try. I am so glad I did. The relief was immediate. I could sleep for four hours without the tramadol and even when I work from slight pain and stiffness all I need to do is change positions and I fall back asleep, something next to impossible before. It was a bit scary buying a mattress without every getting to try it out but the Purple team assured me that if it didn't work out, I could return it free of charge. So happy I gave this company a shot.

I had bought this bed with high hopes. I have this bed since September 11th and every night I toss and turn. I wake up with my neck and hips hurting. I have slept in every direction on the bed with no improvement, if anything I more fatigued in the mornings because I do not get to actually sleep until about one or 2 then have to wake up at 630 to get my day started. I have bought new pillows, took away all the pillows, bought a neck pillow thinking that would help, I mean nothing has helped me. At least before with my old mattress I know what I had to do to get to sleep, this bed is awful to be so expensive. False promises after reading all the reviews

The purple mattress is magic! I have never been in a bed so soft/hard (the perfect combination). I have never left a review for something in my whole entire life BUT..... I felt the need to leave a comment. Purple mattress made this whole process so easy, I ordered it a week before Christmas and they still got it to me in a timely manner. I think they must be the devil because this is witch craft! Thank you so much for making my gift so great, you guys are AMAZING!

A few years ago my Dad relocated and gave his almost new Sleep Number bed to me. It's been a few years and in none of those years did I get a really good nights sleep. Finally decided I'd had enough and started researching for a new bed. I looked at reviews and information on several companies but after all was said and done decided to go with Purple. And I'm sure glad I did! It didn't take me long to adjust to the mattress and now I'm sleeping better than I have in years.

I started having hot flashes at 48. I am now 59 I've had my mattress two weeks no hot flashes at night it is so cooling. One thing I will say it was hard for me to get online to look at pillows.Wouldn't let me check out it was weird but I recommend this 200%
