Overall, we are happy with our new mattress. My wife loves it and says its the most comfortable mattress she has ever slept on. Me on the other hand am 235 lbs and find my shoulder going numb when I lay on my side. This also happened on our last mattress and I was hoping this one would be different. I still find myself tossing and turning all night.

I ordered the original mattress and it was so comfortable when I sleep on my back. Unfortunately I sleep on my side at least half the night if not most of the night. So I exchanged if for the Purple 3. The customer service was excellent!! They were courteous and very helpful!! The 3 is much softer and feels great on my side but just too soft when I'm on my back. (I feel like Goldy Locks) I think I will be trying the Purple 2 and hope it is just right. All in all I feel this company offers exceptional quality products and service!! I would definitely recommend them to others!! Also, I love the sheets!!

Have had my mattress for about two weeks, before getting it I was waking up early with a lower back/hip pain almost every morning that would go away as soon as I got out of bed, couldn't sleep in!! After three nights it resolved. Wonderful sleep and nice lazy mornings when I want to stay in bed I can. Would highly recommend!!

I switched from a waterbed to the Purple mattress. I had my waterbed for 14 years. It took me about 4 nights to adjust to the Purple mattress. This was a big change for me. I have no regrets! I love my purple mattress! Next on my Purple wish list is the pillow

I love this mattress! First time in years I've not woken up with pain in my hips and shoulders. Because SCIENCE!!! I'm so happy I could cry. We spend a third of our lives sleeping. We should be supported and pain free and we are with Purple! Thank you!!!!!!!

We bought our Purple Mattress to replace a new RV mattress that was so uncomfortable we were sore in the morning after sleeping on it for the night. Installation of the Purple Mattress was easy in the limited space of our RV. Once it expanded from the packaging and had a few days to air out and relax, we put sheets on it and started camping/RV'ing and it was so comfortable! After a solid week of use we couldn't be happier!

To start off I am 25 and have had back pain everyday waking up for the last 5 years. Too young to be aching after a night of "rest." Got my purple mattress 2 days ago and wake with not only no back pain. But absolutely feeling rested. If my opinion of the mattress changes I will update. But as of right now there are no complaints.

This was my first time buying a mattress online. After a decent amount of research, Purple won me over with the way they described the Purple grid. They market it as being cooler to sleep on than any memory foam. I'm a hot sleeper and that was enough for me. I didn't try one before I ordered but I figured I would be able to send it back if it didn't work out. Well, I won't be sending this back. I love it. The pain my old mattress was causing in my back is gone. The grid is indeed cool to sleep on as well as being extra supportive. It returns to form almost instantly. I feel no pressure and I don't feel like I'm sinking in. The OG Purple mattress is apparently more firm than the others so take that into account. For me, that firmness is needed. I couldn't be more pleased!

Very good. I'm a back side sleeper. My wife is a side sleeper. I needed no cushion and my wife needed about 2-3 inches and that was on a 7 yr memory foam mattress. Both with lower back problems. We needed no cushion with this mattress. Seems as though there is a 3-7 day get used to it period. Our bed has not looked normal for years because of the 2 different surfaces needed. Regular mattress out of the question, pillow top sags after 2 to 4 years and not the air type. I'm 5'9" 180 52yrs, she 5'7" 160 46yrs Thx so much

I have been using my Purple mattress and pillow for just over a week now and am totally in love! I have some hip and back problems that were aggravated from sleeping on an aging, sagging mattress. After only one night of sleep on the Purple mattress, I was pleasantly surprised to wake up with no aches or pains! The mattress has a firm but floaty feel and you can tell that weight is evenly distributed and that spine and hips stay straight/aligned when lying on it. The pillow also has that nice floaty feel and does not get hot so no repetitive pillow flipping during the night. My kids both want Purple mattresses now too! I highly recommend both the mattress and the pillow.
